Reykjavík Röst

Rost is a great place for a pastry and a coffee when enjoying the Old Harbour, we have regularly made this Cafe an early visit when we get to Iceland. Views are lovely - especially if it is in Winter and there has been plenty of snow on the mountains (Esja?). Prices are in line with Capital City prices - coffee nice and strong.

We had a wonderful experience at Reykjavík Röst. We ordered two smoked salmon sandwiches, and the portion sizes were truly impressive. The amount of salmon was generous, which was a pleasant surprise. Everything was very fresh, and the presentation was great. We especially enjoyed the combination of mustard with the salmon - this was something new for us. We’re visiting from Los Angeles, California, where smoked salmon sandwiches are typically served without mustard, so this unique twist was a delight. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this spot. The only thing that caught us a little off guard was the price nearly $75 for two coffees and two sandwiches. All in all, a great place 👍🏻

Food and drinks were delicious and could be enjoyed while watching the stunning landscape across Bay. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff friendly and polite (and English speaking which helped us alot)

Great coffee, food, and people. We stayed across the street from Röst and went multiple times. The food was fresh, the coffee great, and the people lovely. You have a view of the port, and you can also play board and card games, which they keep at hand. The restrooms were clean and the entire place cozy. We would recommend them!

My wife and I called in for a coffee. We had a lovely window table overlooking the harbour. Having seen the food we had a toasted ham and cheese sandwich which was very good. Highly recommend this cafe

It’s a place with okay coffee, a very-very warm atmosphere, and a perfect view! I would recommend enjoying the moment here!

Very nice place to take breakfast. Flat white with oat milk, raspberry Nutella toasty. Quick service. Warm and relaxing atmosphere

Very nice, cozy cafe right on the marina. We got two special coffees (more like decadent dessert than beverage) which were certainly innovative in design if not all the way there in execution. The cafe has nice seating, great views, staff was friendly and service was fast. It is not cheaper side but almost nowhere in Iceland is. There was also a food menu but we had no appetite, and our beverages were quite heavy too!
