As a new resident, I've been so impressed by almost everything about the place. I started coming down regularly for the coffee (one of the amenities), and I've already met some very nice people. I was immediately made to feel appreciated here and the staff even remember me by name. Shout out to Nikki at the concierge desk, you're the best! Thank you for making my family feel so welcome. It's you and the rest who work here that make it special. The super Bowl party was such a great idea for the community too. Keep it up!

Worst experience in my 15 years of renting. As other reviewers have states, there's constant noise. I have submitted numerous noise complaints and management does nothing about it. I'm routinely woken up in the middle of the night or early morning. As other reviewers have states, there are constantly young children running around in the halls and common grounds unattended, even at like 11 or 12 at night. Management does nothing about it. There was a fight between two women in the courtyard this weekend and police had to come. The fire alarm has gone off in the entire building multiple times in the 5 months I've lived here and everyone had to evacuate the building. I have had ongoing electrical issues and flickering lights in my bathroom and kitchen which has caused the circuit breaker to flip several times. Maintenance has come and even brough in an outside electrician but the issue has not been fixed. I found out that multiple other apartments on my floor were having the same issue. When I returned from vacation in July my hot water smelt like rotten eggs. I submitted a maintenance request on 7/16 and it was not fixed until 7/21, 5 days later. In that I'm I could not shower or use hot water in my apartment. I was contently being fraudulently billed for renters insurance even though I had submitted proof or renters insurance prior to even receiving my lease in February. I was repeatedly told that the documents I submitted met the requirements only to log into my rental portal the next month and see that I was once again billed for renters insurance through Bozzuto. It literally took 5 months, 50 emails, like 10+ document submissions and involving DC Office of the Attorney General, Office of Consumer Protection, OAG Mediation Program before they stopped billing me for renters insurance. My dog and I were accosted by a woman right at the front entrance/desk simply because we were walking by her when going for a walk. DC Office of the Attorney General submitted a request to Bozzuto to allow me to terminate my lease without penalty. We asked their lawyers to respond by a Friday and they did not respond until the following Wednesday. We submitted a request for reconsideration and asked for them to respond and again they responded late to our request. Although management is polite, they continue to not address any complaints and maintenance continues to go unresolved. I will say the only silver lining to this experience is that the front desk staff are very polite. Miles, the concierge is the nicest. The loudness and disorderly neighbors, along with paper thin walls, is a reoccurring theme in negative reviews so please read other reviews on google before considering this complex.

I’ve been living at Reynard for over 6 months now, and it has been a 5-star experience since the day I moved in. I absolutely love my apartment and, fortunately, have had no issues with noise from other neighbors. In my experience, the walls are very well insulated. The amenities are fantastic, and the gym is always clean, well maintained, and never overcrowded during the times I go. My favorite part of living here, though, is truly the staff. Huge shout-out to the cleaning team, maintenance staff, and front desk concierge - they are all absolutely stellar. Special recognition to Miles and Ayanna for their exceptional customer service. While Miles no longer works at the building, he was always a highlight of my day whenever I saw him. Living directly across the street from a Whole Foods and Starbucks is just the icing on the cake. I couldn’t recommend Reynard more highly.

Ayanna and Miles are really welcoming and friendly. The concierge team and consultants makes me feel home! I enjoy my life in this apartment. The amenities are so good! I love the outdoors area and also the gym. I also wanna thank the clean crew. The apartment is so tidy and i love it. Residents are also friendly according to my experience.

As a young professional in DC, I was looking for a place that checked all the boxes: comfortable, luxurious, community-centered, near the Metro, and accessible. Reynard delivered on every single one. I used to live closer to union market, and moving up here was a great decision. This neighborhood has all the convenience and transportation access you’d expect from living in the city, but with genuinely quiet moments. It’s the perfect balance. What I love about living here: The soundproofing is excellent. I can’t hear my neighbors unless I run into them in the hallway, and when I do, they’re almost always friendly and polite. It’s a respectful, peaceful community. Maintenance is incredibly responsive. This summer when my AC unit went out, management (Chelsea and Bianca) sent a technician right away and provided a portable AC unit to keep us comfortable while they fixed it. That kind of thoughtfulness doesn’t go unnoticed. As someone who works remotely, the amenities here are a dream. There’s plenty of space to work from, a calming and spotlessly clean yoga room, and a gym with a huge door that opens up to fresh air during the summer. It’s the little touches like that which make all the difference. The community vibe here is something special. I spent my summer going to the Jazz in the Park events on the Great Lawn right behind the building. The location is unbeatable—walking distance to Whole Foods, Starbucks, and as a dog owner, I love having a vet and groomer nearby. In the winter, you see families sledding on the Great Lawn. It’s those little moments that make this place feel like home. The staff regularly hosts events—everything from breast cancer awareness tea parties to comedy nights. They genuinely care about building community, and it shows. A note about some negative reviews: I’ve seen reviews mentioning noise from children or police being called. Here’s my take: children will be children and bad parents will be bad parents anywhere, and building management can’t control that. Personally, I see it as a benefit to live somewhere with multigenerational families—young adults, families with kids, and older residents. It creates a real community, not just an apartment complex. Shoutout to Miles, Ayana, and the rest of the concierge staff. Gillian was the best leasing agent, so thoughtful and helpful. I’m renewing my lease excitedly, and I genuinely recommend Reynard to anyone looking for a well-managed, community-focused place to call home in DC.

I would recommend Living in Reynard to everyone!🙌🏽 My Wife and I got married and immediately moved to Reynard. We have been here for almost a year now and it has been an amazing experience! We have used all the amenities (which always are being actively cleaned by the amazing staff) We have met friendly neighbors and never any issues with any of them The building is brand new and always very clean. We have never seen any pests. One of the biggest factors that make me love Reynard more are the amazing front desk and Leasing office staff which always are more than happy to help you whenever you need them. The community activities are also a plus to Reynard. In the activities calendar you will always find dates and fun things to do with your neighbors that really help build a great community and friendships. Kudos to Gillian from leasing office who has been with us from the beginning and helped us with leasing our first apartment in Reynard and still helps us every time we need something.

Reynard is an extremely family and dog friendly apartment. Ayanna is one of the nicest concierges you could ever meet, and so personable to everyone in the office!! She is so hard working and responsive to every need from residents. Personally, I feel excited every time I finish my workday from the work pods, because I know Ayanna will be there to talk to! She’s so down to earth, friendly, and brings a necessary warmth to the front desk at Reynard. Her good character exudes good vibes that echo throughout the whole apartment, and she makes my living experience at Reynard so much better!!

I’ve been living at The Reynard Apartments in DC for about 3 months now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Customer Service: The 24-hour concierge team is truly top-notch. They’re always kind, attentive, and quick to help with anything you need. A special shout-out to Miles, the Executive Concierge, who greets everyone with a warm smile and always finds a solution right away. His professionalism and positive energy set the tone for the whole building. Apartments: While the units are cozy, they are beautifully designed with all the modern touches such as large walk-in closets, sleek new appliances, and thoughtful layouts that make it feel like home. Amenities: Honestly, they thought of everything. From podcast rooms and private workspaces to a media room, pet spa, pool, and a high-end gym...it’s like living in a boutique hotel every day. Location: Perfectly situated in the old Walter Reed area, the neighborhood is charming and convenient. There’s cute outdoor seating right outside, and you’re steps away from Whole Foods, Starbucks, and plenty of other shops and spots to explore. Overall, The Reynard delivers comfort, style, and community. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a well-rounded living experience in DC!
