Our group had fun in a short cheese tasting class. We learned about different types of cheeses, how they are aged, and the type of wine to pair them with. A must try if you love cheese and wine.

-Cheese tasting is pretty expensive (18 Euro per person). You do get 15% off the products in the store for it -Our instructor was quite professional and let some of us just eat the cheese and listen to her comments while others had the space to share their experiences and thoughts -The cheese tasting itself was well organized, with a nice selection of cheese and wine (Gouda cheese only BTW). -Nice brand heritage part too

“If you enjoy cheese this is for you, a must.” I didn’t really know what to expect when I booked this at home, I would have been happy being given cheese to taste and told what it was but these people took it to the next level. When you walk into the room it looks like a classroom with little desks but that’s as far as school goes. As each desk has 2 wine glasses and some water, a cheese guillotine to share and cheese to share. So the idea is that there is a little welcome speech, our presenter was Thomas and this was only his third class and he was nervous but he was very knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. Then one person selects the cheese and the other person cuts it thinly, you get a score card to evaluate each cheese-there are 6 and you taste them with and without wine. At the end Thomas will come around and sign the back of the card which is a certificate. There is a discount to be offered to buy the cheese upon completion. Really good experience-Thomas rocks.

Tasting experience was good. Sometimes it felt too hurried but the whole thing was a good experience. Here you can taste different types of Gouda cheese ( goat, young, semi-old, old, ...) with different types of wine ( white, red porto wine, sweet porto, ...) If you want to learn more about cheeses and want to eat a lot of cheese with wine. That's the place :)

We really enjoyed testing all the different kinds of cheese. The cool part about the cheese tasting is, that you will learn a lot about each cheese you eat and you additionally get some wine as well to taste the cheese with wine. I can highly recommend booking the tasting session in combination with a boat ticket.

In the tasting six different cheeses are tasted including three glasses of wine. It also makes a good summary of the history of the company and the manufacture of cheese.

I loved the cheese tasting with wine. It was very informative and fun. We tried six cheese and you get given white red and port to try with them. The lady doing the tasting was very funny and we had a laugh. The reason I've marked down is that when we booked it said non alcoholic drinks provided. 2 of our group wanted non alcoholic but the only option given was water which is a little didappointing. I also think that there should be some more wipes or napkins for hands as picking up some of the cheeses to slice they were slimy and got all over your hands. Small complaints.

I thought that this place was overrated. We did the cheese tasting with Betty, which lasted about one hour and was about €20 per person. There were eight people total in our session. Betty walked us through looking at, smelling, tasting, and describing the six different cheeses, and she told us about the history of the company and the differences between the types of cheese. She also poured several generous glasses of wine and port. It was fun and I think I have better understanding of cheese now, but I don't think it was that great, especially given the price.
