I recently spent the most wonderful afternoon at RH England at Aynho Park, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited. From the moment you arrive, it feels incredibly special — not just a showroom, but a full experience set within breathtaking surroundings.
The architecture alone is worth the visit. The estate itself is stunning, with grand historic features that have been thoughtfully restored and reimagined. Walking through the building feels like stepping into a period drama — soaring ceilings, dramatic staircases, intricate detailing, and rooms filled with natural light. Every corner reveals something new. The way RH has transformed the space into showrooms is remarkable; each room feels perfectly styled yet still warm and liveable. It doesn’t feel like you’re shopping — it feels like you’re wandering through an impossibly beautiful home.
The showrooms are expansive and carefully curated. Each space flows seamlessly into the next, showcasing furniture, lighting and décor in a way that feels aspirational yet calming. There’s a quiet elegance throughout — neutral palettes, luxurious textures, and statement pieces displayed with such intention. I found myself slowing down just to take it all in.
Outside, the grounds are just as impressive. The estate is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, manicured lawns, and landscaped gardens that make you want to linger. There’s such a sense of peace walking around the property — it feels refined yet completely relaxed. The setting itself adds so much to the overall experience.
One of the highlights of our visit was dining at The Orangery at RH England. The restaurant space is absolutely stunning — bright, airy and elegant, with tall windows that flood the room with light. We decided to have cream tea, and it was incredible. The scones were perfectly baked — warm, soft inside with a light golden exterior — served with generous portions of clotted cream and jam. It felt indulgent in the best way. Paired with tea in such a beautiful setting, it turned a simple treat into a memorable experience.
As the afternoon turned into evening, we were lucky enough to catch the sunset over the grounds. The sky softened into warm hues, casting the most beautiful glow over the estate and surrounding countryside. It was one of those peaceful, cinematic moments that makes you pause and really appreciate where you are.
Overall, RH England at Aynho Park is so much more than a design gallery — it’s a destination. The combination of extraordinary architecture, thoughtfully designed showrooms, stunning grounds and exceptional dining makes it truly special. It felt luxurious yet welcoming, grand yet calming. I left already wanting to return.
