Bed was comfy. 3rd floor room facing the back was very quiet. No air conditioner but there was a balcony and tower fan so we left the door open for a nice breeze. Room was clean and well equipped for the price. Breakfast included. Convenient location close to transit and walking distance from main sights.

We had the perfect stay at this hotel staying with friends for the Women's Euros, it is close to all the amenities and central to the town and the riverside. The hotel was immaculately clean with fresh water bottles supplied to the room everyday. The staff were amazing catering for our every need, providing advice, recommendations and directions. The breakfast was superb, hot and cold options and freshly cooked items available on request. This hotel was fantastic value for money without the standard being comprimised.

We loved this hotel. As soon as we arrived, the lady on reception was kind, warm and welcoming.||The location is excellent. The number 14 tram stops almost outside the hotel and takes you many places. You get a Basel Card when you check in which gives you free local transport for the length of your stay, so this was very helpful! It is also a very walkable area and we felt very safe as two females, even coming back in the early hours from the clubs. ||The room was so quiet. We couldn't hear a thing from the city or the other guests. We had a room on the top floor and enjoyed a small balcony, which we loved! ||The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. We were impressed. There is a coffee machine in the room and a small fridge, which we found to be very helpful.||There is a supermarket right across the street, which was great!||We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Basel again. A great hotel!

We stayed for 1 night in mid September and the temperature peaked at 31 C. Pros: The room and toilet was clean and so were the towels and sheets. Great location! Cons: There is no AC here and the small table fan in the room was simply not enough. Way too hot and intollerable. The room is very noisy and doors are slammed. People shouting in the hallway and running. It was only at 1 a.m. / 01:00 that the shouting stopped. I'm 1.81 cm tall and my feet sticks out at the end of the bed. Refrigerator not working. The bathroom has a few things that were broken and some repaired with tape. The covers/duvee is shared/big and we don't like that in the Nordics. Especially not when the room is 30C.

The hotel room was quite standard. Most of the photos on Booking show rooms that look very bright, but ours felt a bit dark in comparison. It seems that either we were given a darker room, or the photos were slightly enhanced. Since the hotel has many rooms, the one you get might look different from the pictures. A few downside: The room didn’t have air conditioning or disposable slippers, but a fan was provided. My bed creaked a bit. On the positive side, everything was clean — fresh linens and towels were provided. Overall, considering that it’s Switzerland, the price for this hotel is probably quite reasonable.

Stayed here for a few nights during Eurovision week. It was a good location, supermarkets near by, close to transport links and the river. We stayed in a family room and there was plenty of room, even had a little balcony (minimal view but was a nice little bonus) |Found it was a great find for the cost. Only downside was reception tended to be unattended when we walked past so was a little wait if wanting a staff member but it wasn’t a major issue

Everything was good. Good accommodation. Enough big room, not too small. Kind staff. Graet location.

Had a great stay! Staff were lovely, and happy to give tourism suggestions and information. The room was a bit cramped, but the large bathroom and decent balcony made up for it. I assume they also have larger rooms, but ours was good for just the weekend at a fair price.

Yelp
Great local food place. Racklette was very unique and quite tasty. Don't miss the 3 course daily menu items! Nice beer and wine selection as well!

Yelp
So first yes we were traveling they Americans. We asked at a nice chocolate shop for a nice dinner out. We were staying at a four star hotel and wanted some local flavor before returning to the states after our river cruise. From the moment we walked in the editor was RUDE. When we almost sat at the wrong table we were scolded. Hard to know the table he walked right by it. Never stood by the table to remove napkins or assist with chairs. When we asked for recommendations he basically said figure it out. " I can't recommend anything I'm not you". Then we saw the pizzas came out and we saw they looked good but large. We said we'd gat salads and share a pie since they were big. We were told NO it's not possible. But never even offered a up charge. Hell I would have paid twice I don't care I just didn't want to waste a whole pizza if we each had only eaten half. After all this we said maybe it's best we chose another restaurant that offered smaller plates. As we were leaving he said " why don't you try McDonalds".

Yelp
I visited this place twice and tried the saddle of lamb with veggies and prawns with pastas. Both are pretty good. Recommended
