Yelp
This is a very chill restaurant/bar that is colocated on Rainbow Beach. They offer a wide array of tropical drinks that you can get in a cup or a bucket. There is tons of seating here including bar seating, outdoor patio seating, indoor patio seating and dining area seating off of the bar. The outdoor patio tables have umbrellas to block the sun. The dining area has TVs playing sports and they have music playing in the background. Both patios have an amazing view of the beach.
The bar is a full service bar, with beer, wine, cocktails and tropical favorites. The menu is full of pub favorites like tenderloin, pulled pork, grilled chicken, shrimp and hot dogs. Their specialty however seems to be tacos. Their tacos are soft and tapia sized. They offer daily food specials on their board, so be sure to check those out.
The restaurant does not have private parking. you just have to find a spot on the street. They do however, have a private restroom inside. I got there before noon, so I was seated right away. But the place got packed while I was there.
My server was very friendly and helpful, she was awesome. Very attentive. I ordered the Blackened Mahi Bites and jerk pork taco, with a side of fries (one of the specials for the day). It did not take long for me to get my food. It was about 10 to 15 minutes.
The Mahi Bites were pretty good. They were fresh and juicy, with a lot of flavor. The jerk pork tacos were also pretty good. They had a kick to them, but not too much to take away from the taste. They too were juicy and packed with flavor. The fries could have been better. They were overcooked and did not have much flavor. I though that they mistakenly gave me sweet potato fries because they just did not taste right to me.
One more thing, they add your tip of 20% to the bill, which I absolutely had no problem with because that is about what I was going to leave for a tip anyway.
This is a very chill and laid back spot that overlooks the water and gives you an awesome view. It is conveniently located right on Rainbow Beach and a little ways from the cruise ship pier. It is definitely worth checking out. I enjoyed my time there. The staff was awesome and you really can't beat the atmosphere and view.
