I can only recommend this accommodation! A beautiful riad with stunning rooms and friendly service! Breakfast is very varied, with locally baked Moroccan pastries, fresh fruit, different homemade desserts every day, and various egg dishes, served on the roof terrace. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the riad is beautiful, super clean, with both modern and Moroccan style. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, whether it's about questions, restaurant recommendations, arranging taxis or washing muddy skirts :))

Riad Al Massarah is a wonderful riad located in the heart of the old town of Marrakesh. It stands as an island of peace in the very busy and loud city where you can recharge and enjoy a calm and quiet night. The staff was really helpful, they always paid a lot of attention and were available pretty much 24/7. The interior of the riad is very stylish and elegant, upon entry we felt like the princes and princesses arriving at their castle. All in all, it was a great experience and I would reccommend it to everyone who has the chance to visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Al Massarah. We were very satisfied with the atmosphere, the room, the breakfast and the very attentive staff.|The Riad is a strong contrast to the bustling city. The courtyard is very nicely designed and offers peace and quiet and many beautifully designed corners. The roof terrace also invites you to linger with a coffee from the excellent coffee machine.|We also recommend using the Hammam and massage services in the Riad.

If you’re planning a trip to Marrakech, I wholeheartedly recommend this stunning riad. Perfectly located in the heart of the old city, it offers impeccable cleanliness, tasteful decor with remarkable attention to detail, a warm and welcoming team, tasty traditional dinner, a varied and delicious breakfast, hammam and massage, and a lush inner courtyard with a serene pool. A true oasis in the middle of the medina! P.S. they also organise airport transfers upon request.

Au revoir Marrakech and a thank you to Milan & Márk from to Riad al
Massarah for having invited me as their first international artist-in-residence for the Gauder Art Residency! I am a travel illustrator and took part in the Riad’s art residency program for 2 weeks in order to draw the beautiful scenery of the Riad and beyond. I have also worked with the local school community (giving a drawing workshop to the kids of Bab Doukkala) while exploring the bustling medina of Morocco’s capital (see my Instagram @theresagrieben for more detailed insights into my artist residency). Riad al Massarah is just beautiful, with perfectly tasteful interiors, fairytale rooms, lush plants in the courtyard and rooftop terrace and a very chill vibe, all made possible by the lovely staff. Over the time I spent there they became like family to me and made me feel right at home, so a big thank you goes out to Aïcha, Juno, Mohammed, Leila (such an outstanding cook, I recommend her signature beef & dried prunes tajine for dinner!) Omar, Badr, Zofiane and the room maids. I hope to see you again one day (and I’ll never forget the long breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice on the rooftop every morning :). Shukran!

Very nice riad (hotel) in the middle of the old medina. You don’t see anything from outside, but when you enter to the building you are entering into a beautiful, peaceful island, where you feel like being home.||Team is very nice, kind, calm||We had a very unique experience here, thank you very much for this. AND you should try the hammam if you did not try it so far!

Riad Al Massarah reflects the contrast you find in this amazing city. To get there you, need to get through the old Medina with all its noise and craziness . Once you arrive, you feel like you entered a timeless place , are the world is closed out with the front door.||A place that makes you feel you are at a special place. Starting with the amazing hospitality of the staff with attention to detail of our breakfast wishes to the beautiful outfit of the interiors. A very nice inner garden, where all the interior parts fit with each other. I enjoyed the relaxed feeling on the sun terrace as you do sun bathing and listening to the birds and the different background noises and imagine that you are on a kind of an island within this vibrant city. ||For me, a huge advantage was the quality of the bed that is rather firm just how I like it. Furthermore, we were given various options for breakfast. Another nice surprise was that there was a barista person on duty during our stay so we could have special coffee served with our breakfast. An additional plus is a small library, so you can take out books if you forgot them home.||I tried the Hamam and sauna of the House that I enjoyed as well. While there are larger ones in the city, it is practical to experience that ritual at your “home”.||Overall, a wonderful and peaceful place to stay — highly recommended!
