The Riad is a gorgeous building and lives up to its description. The bedrooms are as described and lovely linens and fresh towels daily. Although rooms are described as having a terrace when there isn’t one! ||Location wise you can’t go wrong here , |But here’s the but: it has no soul whatsoever! it’s like we are the invisible guests. Never an offer to ask if you want anything, never a suggestion to upsell. That’s not discreet service it’s invisible and being run on a shoestring. The lack of alcohol licence, whilst irritating, at least we did know about it ( despite the continued false promotion on their website) yet it seems to have emptied the bars totally! We would love to have been offered fruit mocktails, or even more tea, but that seems to be like getting blood out of a stone!! A missed business opportunity by the proprietor here. ||Some of the ratings it is currently receding on the booking site I would say are somewhat dubious - scoring a perfect 10 and yet no comment!! |In this regard it’s operating like a simple Airbnb + breakfast and with non of the services you’d expect at this level and price. Breakfast was the same everyday with no variation and, despite letting them know in advance I was gluten free, no attempt offended for anything else to be substituted for the huge basket of bread and cakes which still arrived every day..||Then girls who work at breakfast and clean rooms are sweet and friendly but not proactive, nor is their English good enough for front of house . Room coffee pods and cups not refreshed etc, no asking if you need anything etc. a request for a second glass of orange juice at breakfast refused!!||‘Service’ is all behind a WhatsApp messaging service which is running half heartedly. I’d choose somewhere different another time which is a shame as we had high hopes . Marrakech has some wonderful Roads but sadly this isn’t one of them

This could be an outstanding Riad. Outside areas are nice and plentiful. Our ground floor room was damp and we had a shower head issue. Hot tub on the roof wasn’t cleaned throughout our stay. Breakfasts were good but the same every day of 7. NO alcohol licence but continue to advertise they do

We had a very pleasant stay at the riad. The staff are very helpful. It is very well positioned being close to the edge of the Medina wall and so not far from the new part of the city. I would call it a ‘boutique’ riad well furnished with comfortable rooms. The road is alcohol free in the ‘public’ areas and if you want to have alcohol in your room the manager requests that you provide a receipt for your purchase to enable him to prove that it was not purchased in the riad. There are plenty of places to relax and on the roof there are places to sit with sun beds and a jacouzi. The road also offers the opportunity for a massage and a hammam. |We went on a balloon trip (highly recommended) and had to meet at a place that, to us, was not easy to locate. At 06:20 in the morning the night manager kindly escorted us to the right spot. Superb.

Disaster, the Riad is renovating while we are here. They have been hammering constantly for hours on end and will not stop despite repeated requests. Do not under any circumstances book this Riad. !!!! Advertising a bar with wine and spirits on the website to be told there is no licence or alcohol is false advertising and does not help to establish the credibility

My family stayed at Riad Anyssates last week and had an incredible time. The rooms are beautiful and everywhere is very clean!! The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Very responsive via WhatsApp too and made sure everything for our stay was as smooth and pleasant as possible. The breakfast was delicious and there was always so much variety and quantity of food every day. Please do not let the previous poor review prevent you from booking- we had an incredible stay and we're so lucky to find such a beautiful place with such kind and friendly staff to take care of us!

Exceptional service and ambiance! Nicholas and his staff were beyond welcoming, friendly and helpful. The decor is magical. There is an auspicious breeze that rustles through the 20 foot, flowering bush that lives in the courtyard. Beneath it you can spend your mid day cooling off in the pool. Our room was super cozy and chic. Every aspect of this Riad is thoughtfully selected, to create a mood and experience that is both luxurious and quintessentially Moroccan. On the rooftop patio, where we dined for breakfast and had some of best tanjines for dinner, you will meet a mama cat and her tag along kittens we affectionately named Ira, Kyla and Kevin. Although, some guests did not like these strays, we found them to be the most charming and mischievous crew, we met in Morocco. Although we had to proceed with caution, we found them to be gentle and appreciative of anything we could offer. Please be kind and take care of these little beings🙏 The location is|slightly out of the most touristy areas but once you find your bearings you are good, and Nicolas is extremely proactive and responsive before and during your stay to ensure you settle in nicely.

1Location; bad location on the edge of the old town you have to walk 20 min to the atractions. Breakfast; bad simple from supermarket bought butter and tringle cheese. old bread, mostly burned, the only good thing was the fresh orange juice and that is everywhere in marrakesh. Hamam; they said the Hamam was not functional during our stay. Parking; misleading information. on their page on booking .com and Agoda.com they mention having a park. there is no possibility for parking in medina. when I sent the screenshot to the manager he said oh that is old information. the manager send me a location which was 20 minute walking from them. Atmosphere; bad. the building is bought by a french lady and renewed in a western style. so if you want to see a traditional or atmosphere of a RIAD then forget it here. and you should forget this one it looks like a fake (cartoon) riad. this could be nice if the building is in europ but here is bad we have seen several restaurants and hamams run also by french owners like diar al ksr and they have left the atmosphere in marrocan style maintenance; poorly maintained. electrical points do not work, terrace upstairs deserted nobody comes to serve anything. dead plants at the entrance and terrace. lights that need to be changed, torn down cieling. the beautiful picture on their website of the marrocan happy people i did not see, only one of them is still there rest are deserted i think. Client service; bad we have per a clitch in the system when changing rooms by mistake paid 2 kmers instead of one. immediately sent contact about the mistake. but as the manager told us the owner is strict with money, we ended up using the second room as a bathroom and we asked the lady to give the extra 2 breakfast to the people working there. i would see this as thift. Finally if you are looking for riad to feel the beautiful culture there then this is not the place for you, we were mislead with i think the fake reviews which mention great location.
