Riad Assakina - Luxury Riad Marrakech

This place is incredible. What a hidden gem. The owners Grant and Michele are super kind, sweet, and really treat every single guest as part of their "family". The hotel is in a perfect location, the room is very big and comfy, and the bathroom is massive. They have a beautiful patio, a pool, and a gorgeous rooftop. Plus, the food is stellar. Grant, Michele - thanks for a lovely (yet too short) of a stay. We hope to come back soon!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Riad Assakina last month for five nights, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we booked directly through their website (and got a great deal!), the owners were incredibly attentive and helpful. They arranged a private driver to pick us up from the airport and even opened the riad earlier than usual to accommodate our early arrival—our flight landed at 6 a.m.! We could even join their breakfast that arrival morning, which was absolutely fantastic. One of the highlights was a 30-minute orientation session upon our arrival where they explained everything about Marrakesh—places to visit, eat, shop, find ATMs, and more. Their tips made our stay so much smoother and enjoyable. The amenities were excellent: spacious rooms, reliable internet, and a prime location right in the heart of the Medina—exactly where you want to be when visiting Marrakesh. If you're planning a trip to Marrakesh, I highly recommend staying at Riad Assakina. It was truly one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. I’ve been craving those sunny rooftop breakfasts ever since we left. Don’t miss out!

Everything was fantastic. The location was great, quiet in the riad, but close to the hustle and bustle. The attention to detail and the design of the riad made it feel truly a 5 star experience. But what really made the stay for us was the staff. Michele was so knowledgeable about what to do and see and her map was indispensable. Her team were so helpful and kind, Nourale and her sister Maryam serving and cooking us breakfast and Isham greeting us at the end of a day sightseeing made it feel like we truly were staying in someone's home. We had dinner a couple of evenings which were excellent and we definitely appreciated the tea and cake in the afternoon. I really cannot recommend Riad Assakina highly enough and will be letting all my friends and family know what a great stay we had.

Just back from a fabulous 4 days in Marrakech, made all the better by staying at the Riad Assakina. Run by a British couple, Michele and Grant, along with their lovely, friendly staff, this Riad was such a find! |The riad itself and our room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet, just what was needed after a busy day in Marrakech. |The breakfast every morning was delicious, I really enjoyed the fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice each morning and the pancakes with local cream cheese and honey were amazing as were some of the other breakfast options, all freshly prepared. We stayed at the riad one evening and had tapas, which again were delicious and served on one of the terraces, candlelit, with an amazing city view. |What makes this stay extra special tho is the staff, who all go the extra mile to ensure you have an amazing time. Michele is a wonderful host, always around and about, happy to chat and help with anything you need. Her local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable. As well as organising a taxi from the airport to the riad on arrival, she advised us what was worth pre-booking before we got to Marrakech and made suggestions, recommendations and booked some trips and visits too for us. It was like having our own personal travel consultant! If we return to Marrakech, I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else and will definitey be recommending the riad Assakina to everyone I know.

Loved the quiet boutique hotel in the Marrakech Medina. We stayed a week at the end of August. We stayed in a beautiful suite with a bathroom (2 washbasins plus superb shower) and a seating area overlooking the quiet courtyard. Filtered water provided. Breakfast was wonderful - served every morning on the roof terrace with some lovely choices. Naoual and team looked after us wonderfully as Grant and Michele had to be away - again outstanding English and attention to detail that helped make out stay so good, including making restaurant reservations daily, as well as airport, station and tour transfers for us - always on time, nice vehicles and English spoken. We often had tea or drinks in the afternoon in the cooler, quiet courtyard below out of the August heat. The location is Ideal with great walkability to many restaurants and markets - many lovely areas and sights of Marrakech to explore.

Absolutely beautiful Riad. Grant and Michelle are wonderful hosts, so kind, warm and helpful. The common spaces and rooms are beautiful, with an awesome roof. Only regret is we weren’t able to stay longer.

The location is perfect, an easy drop off/pick up for taxis; the staff are 10 out of 10 - very knowledgeable, very keen to help; there’s nothing I would change about our stay.
