Riad Azoulay

I’ve been traveling for almost 50 years and this is the nicest accommodation and best staff I’ve experienced. Located in the heart of the Medina. Our every need was tended to and the staff is delightful and friendly. We stayed 5 days, went to Fes, and then returned for our last night and it felt like coming home! The rooms have traditional character and beauty but are also comfortable and modern. The food is amazing—the included breakfast and we chose to eat several dinners there. We enjoyed local wines with dinner. A 5 star experience!

I can’t rate this riad and the staff highly enough. It’s the best place I have ever stayed. |They organised an airport transfer for me and my family. They were there waiting for us when we arrived and we were taken in a lovely clean new people carrier to our destination. You are unable to drive to directly outside the riad so they had one of their staff waiting for us to take us to the riad which was a short but amazing walk. We then went from buzzing streets through a typical wooden Moroccan door into what can only be described as peace and serenity. It was a complete contrast and you couldn’t have known what lay behind the walls and door when you were out on the street. We stepped into another world and the attention to detail in the riad from the decor to customer service can only be described as excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and it felt as if we were the only customers they had to attend to as the attention to detail was amazing and very personal. |We had breakfast and a couple of evening meals both traditionally Moroccan and exquisitely prepared which we all enjoyed. So much so we chose to eat in for our second night rather than find somewhere else to dine because the food and ambience was so fantastic. |The riad was very clean and felt so luxurious it truly gave us an amazing start to our holiday and was a very hard act to follow. We also had a Hammam and massage in the riad which were also fabulous and were great value for money and set us up perfectly for our holiday. We only stayed a couple of days as we were travelling but could quite happily have stayed a few days more!

Everything about Riad Azoulay was out of this world! From the moment we stepped in, the staff made us feel right at home. Yasir went above and beyond to make sure that my parents and 2 year old daughter felt comfortable. We have a lot of dietary restrictions and Yasir made sure that our meal was perfect. The rooftop and main floor lounge are so serene, the rooms are beautiful (especially the artwork), and it’s centrally located, but the staff here are the true stars of the show. Shukran, for a great experience!

I just returned from a wonderful 15 day adventure in Morocco. All of our riads were fabulous, but I have to give a special shout out to Riad Azoulay in Marrakech. We arrived as tourists and left as friends. The two of us took a cooking class on our last evening and they asked what recipe we wanted to learn (it was chicken with preserved lemon and olives). The class also included a fun visit that morning to the local market to purchase our fresh ingredients. |Our entire stay was warmed by the people working at the riad with a special shout out to Yasser and Abdul. And sweet kisses to the house cat Azir. Every evening we returned to fresh dates and flowers in our room!|The riad is also very easy to find on your own, including the taxi stand.|If you're looking to make new friends and memories stay at Riad Azoulay! |Judy

We had an amazing stay at Riad Azoulay back in June. Firstly, we have to give a big shout out to Azul, the friendliest little kitten who made the stay extra special. Also thank you in particular to Khalil who looked after us so well during our time in Marrakech! The riad itself is stunning and the perfect place to chill out after a long day walking around the souks. The food was amazing so we would definitely recommend eating dinner at the riad at least once. Thank you to the chef and all the staff (Abderrahim and Yassir were fantastic)!

The most beautiful and well run riad, with incredible food! The staff were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here, it was one of the highlights of visiting Marrakech.

A wonderful Riad in a quieter part of the old town. Incredibly friendly and polite staff who can’t do enough for you. Beautiful interiors and spotlessly clean. Great breakfasts and dinners. Lovely roof terrace. An oasis of calm to escape the chaos of the medina!

My wife & I booked Riad Azoulay for our honeymoon and it was by far the highlight of our trip — not only due to the intimate & serene environment of the riad itself, but due to the humble & brilliant staff. We don't have enough kind words to say about Yasir and the rest of the staff, who were extremely sympathetic and kind to us, especially as my wife had her luggage lost by the airline. The service is top tier, and the riad is well situated in the heart of Old Medina, with all the markets, sights, and eateries (both upscale & local fast food) within walking distance. The hamam was also excellent, and we felt rejuvenated after a few days of trekking around the city and surrounding areas. And of course, we will miss the furry & playful master of the house, Azoul! 🐈
