This Riad is extraordinary! I stayed here for four nights earlier this month.||The room was large, beautifully appointed, and elegant. The bed was super comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. The water pressure in the shower was very powerful.||Ayoub and Hisham are exceptional! They made my stay more than perfect. They are two very kind, friendly, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable young men who go out of their way to ensure you are happy and having a positive experience.||Breakfast each morning was modest, very fresh, and presented beautifully. It was the perfect start to the day.||The Riad is only about a five minute walk to Jemaa el-Fna (the main square).||An important thing to note: The 39 in the Riad's phone number is Italy's country code, so you are calling Italy. ||I highly recommend staying here!

located in the heart of the Medina, near the main square, the Riad Azzar is a little oasis.|Quiet, with the sound of bird song, is the perfect place to return after dealing with all the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. The staff cannot be faulted, friendly and attentive, who go out of their way to assist guests with anything they need, Isham was particularly helpful :) A fantastic breakfast is provided which is the perfect way to start your day. Asma was extremely helpful in arranging taxi transfers from the airport as well as booking us a souk guide, Omar, who was excellent and well worth doing. She also arranged for our boarding passes to be printed as you cannot use your phone at the airport - 5 stars!

What a great stay at "Riad Azzar." This Mr. & Mrs. Smith hotel (powered by Hyatt) is located in the middle of the Medina - a maze with shops, snack bars, street food and close to the Djemaa el Fna Square which is the center and the "place to be" in Marrakech. The hotel itself offers a sumpteous and tasty breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the medina. In the evening you can smoke the shisha and enjoy a chilled beer. Since the hotel is located in the medina you reach all the sights easily on foot: Quoran school Ben Youssef, the tanneries, the Koutoubia mosque, the Saadiya Tombs, the splendid Bahia palace etc. We did not have dinner at the hotel but Riad Azzar offers it. All in all we spent great 5 days there and had fantastic holidays in Marrakech.

We loved staying in Riad Azzar. It was perfectly placed between the north and south medinas for sightseeing and exploring Marrakech to the full. Very peaceful with a lovely atrium and clean and prettily decorated room. The breakfasts were magnificent and delicious and very generous. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and supportive- Hicham and Ayoub in particular were fantastic! We enjoyed a great tour with Omar arranged by Asma, who was ever ready to supply information and make arrangements. Would definitely return.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the Medina, this lovely Riad seemed miles away from the hustle and bustle of the souks and El Fnaa, rather than only 5 minutes walk. We received a warm welcome from super helpful staff. Our room on the ground floor next to the small central plunge pool was comfortable and spacious. We had one delicious dinner in the rooftop restaurant while every breakfast was excellent. We hope to return!

I booked through Hyatt/Mr. and Mrs. smith. This Riad is 10/10. First, the rooms are gorgeous, great AC, well furnished, always spotless. Second, from the moment of booking Asma reached out by WhatsApp to arrange drivers/experiences and provide recommendations.||They were able to accommodate my fiance, who is celiac/gluten free with a delicious breakfast daily, including amazing corn flour gluten free pancakes. Which, to be honest i asked for the recipie.||Hicham and Ayoub were amazing, and Hicham specifically went above and beyond and helped us navigate the souks and negotiate for some amazing leather pieces and light fixtures.||It is a small 6 room riad. This is NOT an American hotel, it is small and staff is small. They have a kitchen, but if you want to eat (other than breakfast) you need to give them advance notice. Moroccan food takes hours to prepare, it’s not as simple as ordering foods at 7pm because the chef may be gone. We didn’t have an issue but I see how others might. ||Staff was very helpful in walking with us to difficult to reach destinations, and I don’t believe Asma sleeps because she responds immediately to questions!||Make sure to tip staff. At end we left around 2000 diram to split among the staff members, and about 1000 diram after individualized trips like the souks. ||I highly recommend a cooking class with the chef!||We are coming back for our honeymoon in a few years no doubt!
