We spent 2 nights in this lovely riad right in Chefchaouen. The riad is nice, the staff wonderful, the pool a very pleasant spot for a dip. They gave us great advice on where to go and what to do. We loved roaming around the beautiful town during the day, particularly in the late afternoon and early evening. The many beautiful views of the blue alley ways and people watching on the main square were great. We also enjoyed our day in Akchour, walking most of the way to the Bridge of the God (we stopped when the hike started to feel a little dicey for our 70 year-old selves), swimming in the clear cold water, and eating a wonderful tagine cooked over an open fire while admiring the view and dipping our feet in the water at one of the many riverside camps. Highly recommended.

This is the most beautiful Riad we have ever stayed in. Sublime tiling, cedar painted ceilings and furnishings - quite stunning. The service is also fantastic. Truly 5 stars. The location is great too at the top of the old town and surrounded by the most photographed streets in the town. A magical roof terrace completes the scene.

Staying at Riad Cherifa in Chefchaouen was an absolute highlight of our trip! The riad is beautifully designed, blending traditional Moroccan charm with modern comfort. The rooms were spacious, clean, and full of character, with stunning details that reflect the unique beauty of the Blue City.||The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was a treat—fresh, delicious, and served in such a peaceful setting. The riad’s location was perfect, just a short walk from the main attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel serene and relaxing.||I’d highly recommend Riad Cherifa to anyone visiting Chefchaouen. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience that adds so much to the magic of this incredible city.

Whoever designed this riad must possess an extraordinary artistic sensibility. Every corner of the space reflects a deep understanding of beauty, balance, and emotion. The color palette is chosen with such finesse — soothing yet vibrant, traditional yet fresh — creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and alive. The placement of the furniture seems effortless, yet it’s undeniably intentional, creating cozy nooks and inviting spaces that naturally draw you in. What’s truly remarkable is the presence of greenery throughout the riad. The plants aren’t merely decorative; they breathe life into the space. There’s no strict rule to their arrangement — and yet, everywhere they are placed feels like exactly where they belong. Whether trailing from a windowsill or nestled beside a sunlit doorway, they feel like living brushstrokes in a grand painting. This place isn’t just designed; it’s curated with love- It’s drenched in artistry — not the kind that shouts, but the kind that whispers to your senses and quietly stirs your heart. The terraces of this riad are simply stunning — each one offering its own little slice of serenity. The swimming pool isn’t large, but it’s just the right size, surrounded by cozy sitting areas that invite you to linger and relax. I haven’t even had breakfast here yet, but I’m already soaking in the warmth and charm that fills every corner of this place. What I love is how every detail seems thoughtfully considered. The rooms may not be large, but they’re beautifully designed — intimate, elegant, and full of character. Even the bathrooms are lovely, maintaining that same understated style and attention to detail. And perhaps for the first time in a riad, I’ve noticed the little conveniences that make such a difference — proper space for bags and suitcases, well-placed shelves, and most importantly, a full-length mirror. It’s those small, thoughtful touches that really elevate the experience. I genuinely love every bit of it — this place is a quiet masterpiece of comfort and design. We are here only for 1 night, i wish we could stay for a little longer.

A stunningly beautiful place to stay overnight. Well maintained. Great view. You can tell the attention the host has put into making this place feel so warm and welcoming. Stairs are narrow and lots of climbing, so try bring light luggages. Be ware if you do not like community living. Can be noisy living together, but we love it. Electricity get short circuited a few times overnight, no big deal, easily fixed.

I was there for the Hammam and it was a great experience. I can highly recommend it. It's a very beautiful Riad, the service is excellent. I've got tee and cookies while I wait and evrryone here is very friendly and reputable. The Hammam treatment was one hour, in that time I had the whole hammam room for myself while the staff member treated me with several tradional cleaning steps. Definitely worth the money :) Thank you!

The Riad Cherifa was a beautiful, charming place to stay for our 2 nights in Chefchaouen. Our room was beautiful with all the Moroccan decor. There is a cute dining area by the pool where we had a wonderful breakfast in the mornings and where we sat for mint tea and cookies on the day we arrived. It is off the main street of the medina, so it was quiet in the evenings. The staff was wonderful, from the reception to the porters that took care of our luggage. Highly recommend!
