Riad Cocoon

We would like to thank Corrine, Abdul, Jamaal and the team at Riad Cocoon for making our trip to Marrakech a truly amazing, unforgettable experience. From the moment we booked, Corrine was in contact, helping us plan our holiday by booking excursions, arranging airport transfers and offering expert tips. |On arrival, we met Abdul who introduced himself and told us 'he was at our service' and he definitely meant it! Between himself and Jamaal, they looked after our every need. Whether it was booking restaurants, ordering taxis, preparing food and drink, they were always available and always smiling! The Riad itself is ideally located in the medina, right on the edge of the souks and a short walk from the main square, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be an oasis of calm. We stayed in the Nirvana suite which we'd definitely recommend due to the private roof top terrace and large rooms. The entire Riad is beautifully finished in a contemporary Moroccan style with traditional touches, which creates a relaxing ambiance. In short, the hospitality was faultless, the food was so tasty, the Riad was beautiful and the Hamann experience by Jaminetta (sorry for the spelling!) unmissable. We don't know when we'll be back to Marrakech but we know where we'll be staying! Thanks again Corrine & team.

Absolutely fabulous stay at Riad Cocoon! Beautiful surroundings and first relate service from everyone. Couldn’t have asked for more. Corinne was so helpful arranging airport transfers and private walking tours for us. We were very well taken care of throughout our 3 night stay. The riad itself is stunning - quite the oasis of calm and tranquility - a welcome change from the bustle of the souls and side streets of the city! Plunge pool was divine - exactly what we needed after busy mornings exploring on foot. Treatments were blissful and our evening meal and breakfasts were delicious. The ethos of Riad Cocoon was simply fantastic and we felt very cared for by everyone. |Thanks for an amazing stay Corinne! We will hope to return again soon!

The breakfast was excellent and our snack lunch was very tasty. |The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.|I highly recommend the Riad Cacoon, good location, lovely rooms and exceptional staff.

The riad is conveniently located, clean, comfortable, and friendly! What sets it apart though is the proprietor and her staff! They are very welcoming so i felt like family! The personnel made the difference! The food is tasty, the service is very accommodating! I definitely would return! I made dinner and touring arrangements separately before arriving but next visit will allow Cocoon staff to arrange since they have such a wonderful network! I did confirm airport meet/greet- transfers which i highly recommend!

We simply cannot recommend Riad Cocoon highly enough. Cocoon has been a special place for us, and we have returned multiple times over the past decade, with very good reason. What truly sets it apart is the personal touch offered by Corinne and the team. Corinne knows Marrakech and the surrounding area inside out and will go out of her way to make you feel welcome and help you find your feet in the city. Her front of house team, Jama and Abdo, are fantastic - friendly, warm and always helpful. The overall experience is of a more comprehensive and personal service than you will find in many more expensive hotels; they will book restaurants, taxis, transport, excursions, make recommendations and much more, whilst making you feel like part of the family for the duration of your stay. The Riad itself is stylish and comfortable, and has been lovingly designed with personality. The rooms are quiet, clean and relaxing, and each one is unique. It has its own small but perfectly formed hammam and the treatments offered by Aminata, the skilled therapist, are excellent and very good value for money. The location is fantastic - in the heart of the medina, on the edge of the souks. Almost all the beautiful cultural sights and landmarks of the medina are a short walk away. The location is safe, central and easy to find (with a bit of practice, which is part of the fun of the Medina) Finally, the food provided by Hadija from a menu of expertly prepared Moroccan classics, is consistently some of the best we have found anywhere in Marrakech. Staying at the Riad for dinner on the terrace as the sun sets is always a good choice. Thank you, Corinne and all at Cocoon for another wonderful stay. We’ll surely see you again.

Not only was Marrakesh a fascinating and colourful place to visit, but staying in Riad Cocoon in the heart of the Medina meant that the souks and sights and restaurants were on our doorstep. Cocoon was beautifully designed and the staff couldn't have been kinder and more welcoming, even producing a three course meal when we arrived late in the evening.|Each morning, after a good night's sleep in our comfortable room, we had breakfast and set out on foot to explore the medina where we found many cafes for a light lunch. We returned to Cocoon and sat on the roof with some refreshments before setting out for dinner in a different restaurant each evening.

We joked that Riad Cocoon was our own personal "Mamounia", given the amazing level of service we had. Not only the Riad is beautiful, well kept and calm (4 rooms in an great setting) but it has all the essential services with excellent quality: we have done our spa treatments there, we dined once (great homecooked meal) and we have booked the most amazing private tour to the Atlas Mountains (just us two and the driver/guide), all through the guidance of the Riad owner Corinne. It is really a gem, with an amazing level of service: Jamal, Abdo and all the rest of team will take real care of you and go above and beyond. If you're looking for the perfect Riad in Marrakech, look no further!

Amazing Riad and 10/10 hospitality. Cannot recommend it enough. Abdo was absolutely wonderful, his tea is the best in all of Marrakech. We didn’t feel like guest, we felt like family.
