Hotel & Spa Dar Bensouda, a Design Boutique Hotel Fes, Morocco

"Dar Bensouda is located in the heart of Fes’s Medina, just 15-minute walk from Batha Square. This riad offers en suite rooms, 2 courtyards and a swimming pool. Dar Bensouda’s rooms combine the traditional architecture of the original palace with modern comforts. The rooms and suites are arranged around the fountain courtyard. They are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom. The suites have a bathtub and sitting room. Bensouda Riad’s rooftop terrace provides views of the medina. It has a traditional Moroccan tent where guests can relax and an upper terrace overlooking the Atlas Mountains. Guests also have access to the riad’s hammam, where beauty treatments and massages are available. Dar Bensouda has a 24-hour front desk." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

A fantastic Riad to stay. At the heart of the Medina. Recommanded by a friend. Get the hotel to send you a staff to compact you And your luggage. Very professional service overall. Food was delicious. Lunch and dine there if you can. Bed where very comfortable and bathroom product smelled really good. The riad is simple and is tastefully designed. It’s intricate and complex courtyards roof top and staircases give it a lot of charm and character. Our room was a bit small but we were 2 adult and 2 kids but there is a lot of different room types. We used a guide from the hotel to visit the Medina because you can get easily lost.

I rarely leave reviews but we had such an incredible stay at Dat Bensouda. The second we walked in, we were stunned by the breathtaking architecture and welcomed with mint tea. The room was gorgeous, food was the best we ate in Fes, and staff was so incredibly lovely. We kept saying how much Dat Bensouda exceeded our expectations. If you are coming to Fes, I could not recommend it more.

The entire place is so beautiful and well kept. The room was very clean and well presented alongside all the communal areas, they have the best view of Fes from the rooftop! The staff were helpful and kind. The whole stay was amazing, would highly recommend.

The Riad is in a 17h Century palace , with superb decoration nicely preserved. The whole atmosphere and experience are magic, the personnel is extremely nice, from Aziz who helps guests to find their way through the Medina and carry your luggage, to cooks who prepared gluten free bread for me , the waiters and the reception. I would love to go back in my next trip to Fes.

We had a lovely stay. Staff is friendly and helpful (got us porters whenever we needed). The pool is nice and the rooftop is a great space to relax and reset.

We LOVED staying here so much we extended another night. |The staff is SO friendly and helpful and they work so hard. We also booked hammams & massages which were so relaxing. Yassine was amazing and gave us some wonderful recommendations for dinners around town. That being said, the food at the Riad was delicious as well.

Our experience at Riad Dar Bensouda was overall fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly caring and helpful. Yazid, in particular, was wonderful—he took the time to explain Fes and the surrounding area, provided us with a map, and even arranged a tour guide for us the next morning. His hospitality made a great impression and helped us navigate the medina with ease.||The room we stayed in was spacious—actually two rooms—making our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The riad itself is a stunning 17th-century building, rich in history and authenticity. The intricate wooden doors and carvings throughout the property were simply breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the place.||If you're looking for an authentic and welcoming riad in Fes, I highly recommend Riad Dar Bensouda. The combination of historic beauty, excellent service, and spacious accommodations made our stay truly memorable.

We visited the hotel in March and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere, we especially enjoyed the rooftop that had plenty of space to relax in the afternoon sun with amazing views of Fes. The breakfast was great and done in a traditional Moroccan style. |The staff were incredibly helpful when they realised I had left an iPad in the room upon leaving. They were easy to liaise with to organise for it to be posted back to the UK
