Riad Dar Kawa

This was beautiful, warm and welcoming oasis away from the busy streets of the city. Service was incredible and the entire staff was so kind and above and beyond helpful! Rooms are beautifully appointed with cozy robes and slippers to boot. We look forward to staying again should we return to Marrakech!

Our trip to Morocco was fabulous, and the real highlight of the trip was our stay in Marrakech at Riad Dar Kawa. Everything about Dar Kawa is divine. The Riad is tucked away is a secret passageway… but, once you step inside and surround yourself in luxury, you realize just how special it is. Beautifully appointed rooms with gorgeous furnishings and comfortable surroundings. The meals, prepared in-house, were absolutely delicious. The entire staff so lovely… polite and attentive. We would absolutely return to Riad Dar Kawa on our next trip to Marrakech and cannot wait!

Dar Kawa is a Riad in its own league: traditional in its setting but re-imagined as a beautiful contemporary concept where the gray and black tones create a stylish feast for the eyes. Every detail, from the furniture to the beautiful linens, is meticulously thought after, and staying at far Kawa is a treat for anyone interested in design. Besides the unique visual aspect, the staff also makes your stay feel super special by being very friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend enough (even though I would rather keep this little gem a secret for myself!).

Dar Kawa is utterly wonderful. A tranquil and beautiful place to stay in the heart of town. The service is excellent -- from collecting us and our bags, giving us loads of insider tips (including a great map everything marked), and taking great care of us on our first visit. The room was large and extremely comfortable. Valarie's beautiful furnishings are gorgeous. And the food was amazing too. A great place to relax in the courtyard or the roof terrace and really well located for everything! Thanks so much Valerie and team for a very special stay.

Riad Dar Kawa is an amazingly designed place, giving the traditional Riad style an Contemporary aesthetic, without making it ordinary modern. The location is perfectly hidden, making the Riad an oasis within the busy streets of the heart of the Medina. We staid two nights at this wonderful gem and have especially to point out the extraordinary friendly and wonderful hospitality we experienced by the Staff. Riad Dar Kawa is a truly wonderful gem and a haven of peace amidst the lively Medina. You can feel the love and care that went into every single detail! The smell of jasmine and orange blossoms when opening the window in the morning will remain unforgettable.. But is it not only the physical space that mesmerized us - Abdelhadi and his team have made every wish come true. Make sure to book for dinner too - some of the best food we have eaten in Marrakesh. Dar Kawa was perfect in every possible way. From the warm and lovely hospitality to every detail in the bedding, towels, and amenities. Wow. A little piece of heaven in a great location. Once you sleep in these comfy beds you will want to buy all the linens…. I did and now I have a piece of Dar Kawa with me daily. I cannot wait to return.
