Riad Dar Saad - Hammam & Spa (Marrakech, Morocco) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In the Dar El Bacha district, Riad Dar Saad is a collection of restored houses brought together by an architect with a long-standing love for Marrakech. The rooms and suites are laid out across courtyards with dipping pools, hand-cut tilework, and quiet corners made for slowing down. Les Bains de Ninon, the riad’s hammam, offers traditional treatments using natural products. Art is everywhere, from curated local pieces to sculptural details folded into alcoves. More than a boutique stay, Dar Saad is intimate, well-crafted, and built to feel like it has always been yours." - Tablet Hotels

Riad Dar Saad was our first stay in Morocco and it was really worth the stay. The location of the Road is perfect. It's a short walk from the parking but away from the madness of the Medina. It's a short walk from all major attractions and the Medina and was an excellent place to be to see the towers of the Medina and the beautiful sunrise. The breakfast was also perfect and made for a great start to the day.

A lovely riad in a fantastic location -- a nice street between the madness of the souks and Bab Doukkala. It is a rather big riad consiting of five(?) conjoined riads. There is a large rooftop terrace to watch dawn and sunset. The staff are super helpful and the hammam was absolutely amazing! We booked late, so we got the last room, which was a little small, but it had small courtyard with seats outside.

This is a wonderful Riad centrally located in the heart of Marrakesh, but at the right distance from the bustle of the medina, and within easy distance to take a cab to the outskirts. We stayed in the 2BR Kasbah suite, which was great for a family. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We utilized the airport transfer which was very convenient even for a flight that arrived close to midnight. The morning breakfast (included) was also wonderful. Its within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the medina. I recommend trying out Terrasse des épices, L'mida and La Jardin.

This was my third time here, staying for 4-5 nights each time, and it was an indescribable experience. The ambiance was like something out of 1001 Nights, with beautiful suites and rooms that are constantly being expanded; I stayed in three different ones. A huge, leafy terrace with a pool to relax and simply enjoy. The service is second to none; it's like coming home. A large selection for breakfast, and there's also an extensive menu for lunch and dinner, all of excellent quality.||Many thanks to Meriem and Susana. As always, you made this stay with five friends a very special experience. I'll definitely be back very soon.

Riad Dar Saad in the Medina was the BEST!! First the staff was so inviting, accommodating, informative, wonderful service. Helped so much on my arrival, airport pick up, meeting me & my luggage at drop off & getting my luggage up the stairs to my room. The area/street is quite polished & exceptionally safe due to its proximity to the Dar El Bacha Palace (which is beautiful & swarming with security, police & military presence). Therefore the souk sellers & stalls & hammams on this street are of finer quality. All parlors & public areas are gorgeous & impressive. Rooms well decorated, well appointed & everything is quite clean. Hammam is wonderful & massage was sublime. I was most BLOWN AWAY by the artwork throughout the Riad, all done by the owner Jean Claude. The rooftop terrace is super. I Loved my stay at Riad Dar Saad! Will definitely stay there again.

After a walk down the busy lanes of noisy activities I came to a recessed doorway in the midst of all the bustle. Once inside, quiet and peace blanket everything. From the lovely art to the intriguing architecture, the riad is captivating. I had the best sleep I have experienced in weeks due to the luxurious bed linens and comfortable bed. The staff is courteous and the hamman left me with the skin I had at 20, and I am 75. The only downside was the lack of a lift, but since the staff attended to my bags, I only had to deal with getting my own creaky knees up the stairs.

We had the most wonderful experience at Dar Saad! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The owner Jean Claude and his daughter Camille were absolutely delightful – warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home, and their kindness truly elevated our entire stay. Every single staff member was equally friendly and professional, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hammam experience was out of this world – relaxing, luxurious, and followed by what was hands down the best massage we’ve ever had. If you're looking for a real Moroccan spa experience, this is the place. Our room was beautiful: spacious, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the bathroom was impressively large, with excellent air conditioning – a huge plus in Marrakech! Now, the rooftop… just wow. It’s probably the best rooftop in the city. Wide, peaceful, beautifully designed, with a lovely pool to cool off in and several cozy, intimate corners perfect for relaxing any time of day. It was our favorite spot to unwind after exploring the Medina. The food was outstanding. Breakfast and every meal we had were delicious, with a great variety of local and fresh options. Everything was homemade, full of flavor, and presented with care – a true highlight of our stay. They also helped us plan our activities and visits, gave great recommendations, and made everything super easy for us, including airport transfers, luggage, and arranging a private driver when needed. In short: Dar Saad is a 10 out of 10. It’s everything you dream of when you think of a riad in Marrakech – and more. We can’t recommend it enough!

We didn’t stay at the Riad, but we had the pleasure of trying their spa. All the ladies, from the reception to the spa therapists, were incredibly kind and welcoming. The hammam and the massage were absolutely amazing, so relaxing and beautifully done. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special spa experience and for a beautiful Riad!
