I’ve traveled to over 70+ countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels….and this place has got to be in my Top 5 for the best bang for your buck accommodation! The pictures of the rooms online don’t do this place a justice. It’s a stunning property with extremely friendly hosts/staff. Meknes is far better than Fes in my opinion and this Riad is the best!

Whatever has changed, this hotel fails to live up to its reviews. It was the most disappointing introduction to our tour of Morocco. The labyrinthine complex of interwoven buildings means that access to rooms, rooftops is exceedingly difficult for all but the most agile.|Of course it’s ancient and authentic but lacks space, comfort, technology and any escape from noise and activity.|The staff made an effort but the whole atmosphere was disorganized and chaotic.|Good central location but two nights was too many.

Royal treatment, This magnificent Riad take you back over 325 years , imagine yourself living with rules of Meknes, amazing interiors from walls to celling , clean rooms each suits different than the others , having every morning the tables ready for the guests to start there breakfast same as evenings and if you are large group better to talk to most welcome lady in the house the owner it make you feel at home, I really mean it , food prepared from fresh ingredients and very generous, fresh coffee brewed in front of you , every waiters very genuine and friendly, location close to all the shops I spend 9days as I was attending the expo Siam 2025 very convenient to reach the expo 7 km , very reasonable $ , well recommended, thanks for your warm hospitality, Morocco 🇲🇦 Australia 🇦🇺

Mora Mora the coordinator on the riad, was very accomodating and nice. He picked us up from the taxi and helped us when leaving.| He gave us directions around the medina and helped us with laundry.|The location of the riad is excellent and we have the best tagine in the country.|We visited 12 cities. Their tagine is the best. Excelent ingredients and preparation.

Staying in winter, the room was 35 degrees F, open courtyard contributed to cold cold morning. But the obviously broken shower(hose pulled out so it functioned like a garden hose) was an insult. We knew the place was booked so a room change was not an option. Manager was nowhere to be found. We left instead of staying second night- refund has not yet been sought.

This is a lovely Riad just inside the medina with the most lovely roof terrace with swimming pool. Our suite was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was very good and dinner was also available but better if you ear meat as otherwise it’s vegetable tagine which was very good but you don’t want to eat it every night! The staff were friendly and helpful and came to collect us from the car park outside the medina. really good value for. Knee and a calm peaceful place to stay.

This Riad is truly beautiful, with two courtyards below and a charming multilevel terrace above. Our rooms (two for our very large family) were unique and gorgeous - they smelled of aromatic cedar from the woodwork. The beds are firm and comfortable. Breakfast is local breads and condiments, yogurt, coffee, juice, and tea. Best of all are the hosts - so accommodating, they even walked us to a restaurant when we couldn’t find it. This is a treasure in Meknes, which is itself a treasure in Morocco.
