RIAD EL MA

There is something magical about this Riad. You’ll feel it right when you walk in. my family instantly felt right at home. The staff was very accommodating. Communication was amazing from the airport pick up. The staff’s quick response made all of us feel safe and welcomed. My children loved the Riad! I felt safe leaving my children in the room while enjoying the terrace views. The food and views were amazing! The location was amazing. I don’t know how there could be a better place. Short walk from the main area for taxi. We never got lost getting back to the Riad because of its perfect location. The coffee and food is a must try. We hope to come back and don’t want to leave.

Very beautiful riad with extremely welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, and breakfast is excellent. The only downside is the very close proximity to the main mosque which, while convenient in terms of location, makes it impossible not to wake up at 5 a.m. during the salat.

Look, I loved the hospitality of the hosts and how beautiful this Riad is. However, my room was really close to the mosque and I was woken up heavily at 4am. The problem is sometimes it lasts 20 mins. If you're ok with this, no problem!

Beautifully renovated riad in Meknes medina. One of the first riads there. The courtyard and roof terrace were lush and well-appointed. A roof swimming pool looked appealing although the weather wasn’t hot enough to make us feel compelled to swim. The riad manager Amina, and her niece Amina, were extremely friendly, warm and informative. It was almost like visiting family. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed. Don’t miss having a meal here. They do an excellent preparation of traditional Moroccan food.

We (2 seniors) stayed two nights. We were given a room in the first floor as requested: large and comfortable, clean, and that had a nice view on the interior patio all moroccan style. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and healthy, served in the interior patio. Staff, lead by Amina, provided superb service and also was very helpful with tourism advice adequate for us seniors. The Riad is also well located in the medina. Recommended place to stay in Meknes

The hosts are so very sweet and very honest. If you decide to stay here remember it is a road, not a hotel, so you are experiencing a real Moroccan room. Amenities will not be the same as a four or five Star hotel . The local mosque will wake you very early in the morning but otherwise it is very quiet.

This place is absolutely lovely. The building is beautiful and the location perfect for exploring Meknes. Unfortunately it was so hot that I didn't venture out very much, so didn't see much of the town. The Riad has a fantastic roof terrace, with a small pool and a great view of the Medina, so I spent my only full day in town up there!|The staff and service were great. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and generous. I also ate dinner both evenings at the Riad, and the food was fantastic - just like home cooking!|I changed rooms on arrival and paid a bit extra for a much larger room overlooking the inner courtyard. The room was pretty basic but nice enough for a short stay, though I'm not sure it was worth the extra cost. My only major gripe is the lack of air-conditioning in the rooms, which really surprised me. They should definitely rectify this!|All in all I can highly recommend this place for a short stay.

The most beautiful courtyard and friendliest owners who even did washed some of our clothes for us - thank you! We enjoyed a dip in the rooftop pool and a delicious dinner here; it was a really memorable setting. Definitely recommend if you’re planning to stay in Meknes.
