Riad Helen

Wow, what a fantastic little haven in the middle of Marrakesh. The riad is beautiful and clean. Staff were helpful and efficient. Great breakfast. Slept very well and bed super comfy. Big thank you to Chouaib for all the tips about exploring the city!

It was our first time in Morocco and we felt taken care of from start to finish. Their taxi service makes arrival easy. Chouaeb greeted us at the taxi and helped us in despite the late hour of arrival. We received good tips about the city. The room is comfortable and clean. The overall property is a quiet refuge in busy Marrakech. Everything most people visit in the city is walkable. We took advantage of the nice rooftop several times during our stay. Breakfasts were fantastic. They sell alcohol on the property, which can be hard to find in other parts of the city. They did our laundry for no charge. We would definitely recommend Riad Helen for anyone visiting Marrakech.

Our stay at the Riad was amazing. The manager , Chouaib was an incredible host - nothing was too much trouble . He answered our many questions and had great recommendations for the spa and restaurants . The riad is beautiful. A calm sanctuary after a busy day out . The linen on the beds is also great quality . The breakfasts were delicious and the location was extremely convenient! We cannot fault Riad Helen . Just wonderful ! Thank you again for your genuine hospitality . We hope to return !

We had a wonderful time. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. We felt very safe as two female travellers, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating, even helping us with printing our boarding passes. The breakfast was delicious, plus there was low noise, good air conditioning/heater in the room, and the included toiletries in the bathroom smelt lovely. 10/10, would recommend.

Exceptional Riad. Perfect location. Clean and spacious. Brilliantly appointed. Caring and attentive staff. Awesome breakfasts and snacks. You could not ask for more. The little pool was an added bonus. Would recommend to any traveller.

We loved this riad! The host (Chaeb) was brilliant, he helped with anything you needed. He sat us down at the start of our stay showing us a map of really good places to eat and what to see. It’s so close to everything which is brilliant. Perfect location. ||The breakfast was brilliant and the lady who served us was very accommodating and friendly!. We missed breakfast one morning and she quickly whipped up some eggs and coffee for us. ||This is a rare riad with a pool on the roof. It is amazing how busy and loud Marrakesh is but how the Riad can provide serenity. The rooms are also so lovely. ||Things to note: it’s a little bit of a maze to the Riad when you first arrive. Maybe worth contacting the host before arriving to help you find it!

Outstanding stay at Riad Helen, would highly recommend!! ||Booked directly with Riad Helen & communication was good. Paid half upon booking and other half a few days before via PayPal. ||Free transfer included with 4 night stay. Had sign at arrivals and took us to nearest main road. The hotel manager came to meet us to take our luggage and show us the way to the riad which was great. ||Upon arrival we were given some mint tea and the hotel manager provided a map and pointed out good restaurants and cafes to go too and museums/palaces / gardens to visit. This was so so helpful! Also he gave us some top tips on taxis, bartering etc. ||Our room was beautiful - Wahda room. Big comfortable bed with thicker duvet as staying in December, safe available, black out curtains, big bathroom (shower only). You can hear the prayer callings from the nearby mosque around 5am but you can just go back to sleep. ||Nice courtyard on ground floor with space to chill outside and inside. Rooftop is lovely and a little sun trap in the afternoon to sunbathe or sleep! ||Location wise, it’s brilliant. It’s so so quiet, away from the chaotic streets. 10 min walk to souks and 5 minute walk to main road where you can easily get a taxi. ||Breakfast served from half 8, and is plentiful. Good Moroccan breakfast! ||Check out not until noon which is great and able to leave luggage :) ||Thank you to the lovely ladies who prepare breakfast and make sure the riad is sparkling and the great hotel manager, always smiling & so helpful. ||Truly a wonderful stay!
