Riad Idra (Marrakech, Morocco) 3 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"With just seven rooms and suites Riad Idra is as intimate as can be, and though it’s absolutely central, just a few minutes’ walk from the Ben Youssef Mosque and Jamaâ el Fna Square, it’s got that secluded inner-circle private-retreat vibe down pat. And you won’t even have to worry about navigating the city’s mazelike streets, as Riad Idra’s driver will be waiting at the airport." - Tablet Hotels

Riad Idra and staff exceeded our expectations. My husband and I are world travelers and our stay here was unlike any other. When we arrived, a member of the crew greeted us at the entry of the medina and carried our bags to the Riad. Karine warmly welcomed us and brought us to the majestic courtyard to enjoy homemade mint ice tea and pastries while she checked us in and showed us a map of the area and discussed our interests while for our Moroccan stay. She kindly made reservations for our dinners at the Riad and outside. Our room was enchanting. I enjoyed resting on our window seat listening to the birds and looking down at the courtyard. Cleanliness and comfort are a high standard at Riad Idra. The complementary breakfast was 5 star quality. I generally do not enjoy pastries in the morning however their homemade pastries were favorite of mine. Eating breakfast and dinner on their rooftop set a nice ambiance for our meals and it was wonderful to enjoy the fresh air and incredible smells the city offers up. We booked a session at the Hammam followed by a massage. This was our first hammam and I'm not sure how I've lived without them before. Truly a local custom that should be trialed and could not think of a more comfortable, clean, and private place to have one (especially your first) than here. 10/10 would recommend Riad Idra to anyone traveling to Marrakech who wants to feel like royalty.

The hospitality is top notch. The staff goes above and beyond to make your staff comfortable. You feel like you are constantly attended to. The breakfast was delicious and slightly alternates everyday which I liked. The room is immaculate. The hotel even gives you some slippers to use and take home with you. The cleaning staff will come and clean your room while you're out for the day and then comes again while you're at dinner to prep your bed before you sleep. Service is surreal. Anything you need ask the staff. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Great rooftop, not much of a view but it's beautiful up there. There is no pool, but if that matters to you, you can visit a spa with a pool for the day. The hotel is very close to Bacha Coffee and Jardin Secret. About a 20 min walk to the end of the Medina to see Sadiaan tombs, Bahia Palace, and El Badi Palace. Great place to stay! Highly recommend.

The manager, Karine, and her staff were absolutely phenomenal. The rooms were well appointed and beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional and the location is perfect within the Medina. It is on a small street/alley off from where all the vendors are so it was nice and quiet. If I ever visit Marrakech again, I would not even think twice about other places to stay. Karina can set up tours and. arrange for drivers. It’s definitely full service. Loved it!

The Riad was not too small and not too big, it was perfect! They even decorated my bed for my birthday. Highly recommend! Would definitely go back there again!

Our stay at Road Idra was perfect. From the moment we walked through the door Karine and her team made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with fresh mint tea, pastries and lemon towels to freshen up, and then Karine sat with us and talked us through he sites of Marrakesh giving us may invaluable tips.||Our room, Warda, was beautifully furnished with many luxurious touches. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a lovely experience - the food was plentiful and always fresh. We also ate dinner twice (an optional extra) and the chef was flexible in accomodating my taste. A special thank you to Younes - our wonderful waiter.||The Riad is in a perfect location for exploring the sites of the medina. We booked a guide through Karine, which we would recommend highly. We saw many of the sites, and it was always a pleasure to come back "home" to relax in the beautiful surroundings.||We would not hesitate in recommending Road Idra to anyone wanting to visit this amazing city.

Absolutely astounded by the luxury, beauty, care & attention! Step into a dreamy oasis-sound of birds, running water & the smell of orange blossoms in the air. You’re welcomed with cakes & mint tea. Rooftop is paradise. Breakfast is delectable. Your room is stunning, free slippers in the bathroom that also has a robe for your use, full sized bathroom products products. Strong Wi-Fi. Everything is magnificent.

Stunning! I am very fortunate to travel all of the world for work and pleasure, and I prefer to book beautiful boutique accommodations. With that said, Riad Idra is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The riad is exquisite, and the attention to detail within the rooms is exceptional. The staff and level of service was excellent. Such a welcoming sanctuary right in the heart of the medina. The central location allowed me to easily walk to all sites of interest. I hope to visit Marrakech again, if only to stay once more at Riad Idra.

The Riad Idra provides an absolutely wonderful place to stay within the Medina of Marrakesh. It's location allows exploration of the Medina with an ability to seek refuge in a cool relaxing environment. The breakfasts were spectacular and they were more than able to cater to a need for gluten-free food. The staff and service are second to none!
