The service and the people are very kind, however, the riad itself is not necessarily recommendable. We had a cockroach in our room, then got kindly transferred to another. In that room, however, the AC did not work properly so that we had to turn on the extra heating. Still it was very cold in the entire room. Also, when we took a shower, the entire bathroom was almost completely flooded every time. The hair dryer did only blow semi-warm air so that I came home with a serious cold. The new room was alright, however, the stairs to the bathroom can be challenging for a pregnant woman. ||We emphasize again that the service was superb, though. On the last day I came down with flu-like symptoms and we could even wake them at 3 am to make tea and bring us fresh towels. Also, we were helped with transportation with our extra luggage back home. ||This review only speaks for the riad per se, not the people. The riad, as said, is a little dated and could use some renovations and state-of-the art facilities. The riad situation altogether seems a little strange in Marrakech as the pictures of the general area are all really appealing. The rooms, on the other hand, especially bahrooms, are challenging and do not meet Western standards at all.
