Riad Maryam

It’s an old traditional Amazighe home which has been renovated and beautifully decorated. An Amazighe family runs it so you can bet it how welcoming and hospitable it is!! For me this is better than any 5 star hotel in the world.

We were very disappointed by our meal here. None of the advertised salads and side dishes were available - just soup - tagine - couscous. The chicken was tough and the service very poor. Far too expensive at 250 dirhams a head. Do not eat here

Very nice Riad with great rooms. We have even got an upgrade to a big room with window to garden. The people are friendly and helpful. Best breakfast with beautiful garden view and singing birds in Morocco so far. There were also super fast WiFi and TV. Others also recommend the dinner here.

Super helpful host... We had a flat tire at the parking, with three nails, and it was solved without our interference for 150 DH!

The double rooms are spacious with a cosy seating place. The bath room is big as well. Everything is very clean. ||The host is a very friendly man and tries to make your stay in Taroudant as pleasant as possible. ||We had a dinner in the Riad. It was the best we had so far in whole of Morocco. It is a varied menu with more than only the traditional couscous or tajine. The dessert is delicious and if you want, you can get some wine with the meal. The breakfast is just great. Highly recommended.

Great location, beautiful riad, friendly host. Rooms were clean. The food for dinner was good but the portions were far too big and the price was quite expensive (for comparison we spent 30dh on lunch that day and paid 250dh for the dinner in the hotel - wasn’t quite worth that much).

Unforgettable Atrium with lovely plants! Very atmospheric old building. Owner is pushing prices and can be quite unfriendly.. Bathroom without Ventilation, very smelly.

The place was deserted. Where are the tourists?|We had full attention- to diet particulars and ... everything.|The food was fantastic. There was actually too much, no matter. 10 veggie delicious appetizers for two. The tajine and whatever he ordered was top notch.|Really, the flavors were superior here.|The ambience is excellent: spacious and beautiful classic Moroccan architecture.|My friend complained that management was watching us too much. I disagree. And factor in that we were the only customers.|I truly love this place.
