Riad UP is a beautiful hidden gem! The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Everything was super clean, and the attention to detail was impressive. The Staff and also the Owner Elsa are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

We stayed four nights in Riad Up and had a simply wonderful time. The riad is amazing, open courtyard with dipping pool & various places to sit/relax and a top level with great views over the medina. Breakfast was fantastic and we had dinner at the riad on two of our nights. All the meals (Moroccan cuisine) were fabulous. We cannot say enough about Elsa and here staff. They are wonderful people and we hated to leave. Definitely hope to make it back again!

We stayed at Riad UP for three nights in October, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.|We were in Marrakech for a family wedding, and my wife had found this beautiful riad on a ‘boutique hotels’ website.|We had requested an airport pick-up, the riad owner, Elsa, had arranged this, and our transfer and check-in went very smoothly, with no stress whatsoever.|Elsa, and her team at the riad were perfect hosts, they couldn’t have been anymore helpful and friendly. We felt utterly at home from the first minute of our stay to the last.|The riad itself was stunningly beautiful. Our room, and the public areas, were all immaculately clean. We stayed in a suite, which was a beautiful, large room, with a high ceiling, and a fantastic mix of traditional and contemporary fittings and fixtures. The bed was big and comfortable, the bedding, towels and toiletries were all of a very good quality, and the shower was great. The wifi in our room, and in the public areas was fast and reliable. The aircon was good too, and as it was unseasonably hot during our visit, we needed it.|The public areas in the riad were comfortable and welcoming too. There were places to sit and relax in the courtyard if you wanted some shade, and on the roof there were day-beds for enjoying the sun. There was a small splash-pool in the central courtyard, which was perfect for a dip, after a hot day out in the medina or sight-seeing in the new town.|We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfasts were very enjoyable and filling. We also had dinner in the riad on a couple of nights, this was served on the rooftop terrace, and was a delightful experience. The food was traditional Moroccan cuisine, and it was simple, tasty and filling. We could hear the music and hubbub from Jafaa-el-Fnar square whilst we ate, and then after the call to prayer from all the surrounding mosques, a period of quiet. It was an utterly unique experience.|We would like to compliment Elsa on how beautiful everything in the riad looks. From the decor, to the mix of traditional, 20th Century vintage, and contemporary furniture. The cutlery, crockery, glasses and cups, the table cloths, napkins, and place settings. It is all so beautiful, and we took great pleasure from using these beautiful things.|Just a word on the location of Riad UP. It’s in the medina, about five minutes walk from the main square, but it felt like an oasis of coolness and calm every time we returned, after getting lost in the souks, or being boiled whilst sight-seeing in the new town.|We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Elsa and her team, and we were genuinely sad to leave. We would have no hesitation in recommending Riad UP.|

My wife and I spent three lovely nights at Riad UP. We arrived in Marrakech by train and had asked the riad to arrange a driver to meet us - I strongly recommend that. Our fare from the train station was pre-set at 100 MAD - quite reasonable in my view, considering the challenges of getting from the train station to the riad that we would have had to address as really tired first-timer's in Morocco! l Our room, with private toilet and shower, was on the third level (same level as the terrace). It was quiet and comfortable, with a great air-conditioner. We particularly appreciated the high quality of the mattress and bedding! There are rooms at the ground level that would be more suited to anyone with mobility issues - there is no elevator. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning, and it was always great. The terrace provides a nice view out over the rooftops of the medina towards the Koutoubia Mosque. Our very gracious hosts were more than happy to help us find anything we needed - ATM's, a wine store (outside the medina), restaurants, and local attractions - and to arrange taxi's for us when that was necessary. The plunge pool in the main courtyard, the thoughtful interior design with beautiful, tranquil spaces, and the calming influence of immaculate plantings and muted colors, provide quite a counterpoint to the heat and crazy of the medina and the souqs, all of which are within easy walking distance from the riad (once you get your bearings!)

We had an excellent stay! The Riad is so calming and relaxing with beautiful furnishings throughout. There are only six rooms so it feels very private and relaxed. The two roof top terraces are so comfortable to relax in after a day exploring the city. We would stay here again! The staff is just as lovely and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stay Elsa and staff!

Stay here! The Riad is modern, well designed, beautiful comfortable and cozy. ||This was by far the best riad we stayed at in Morocco. We didn't get to eat any meals here so can't speak on that, but otherwise the stay was great. ||One note: the staff was friendly and helpful, but didn't speak much english.
