Although the route to this Riad is initially intimidating, the destination is worth the journey and is a great location for the Medina. When inside, the courtyard is an inviting respite from the harrowing Median mopeds. The hosts are very helpful both with great tips to navigating the neighborhood to serving us breakfast at 7 am and arranging a taxi for our early flight. The breakfast is delicious including a range of breads with butter, honey, and jam, yogurt with fruit and tea or coffee. Our stylish room was on the small side with a very narrow window. The air conditioner helped cool it off, as the window provided only a slight breeze. The shower was hot and the bathroom clean.

This absolutely divine hidden gem in the Medina of Marrakech was recommended by a fellow Aussie and we had the most amazing stay here for 3 nights in September 2025.|Elsa and her staff made us feel welcomed and were available at all times. Elsa was able to suggest a fabulous 4 day/3 night desert tour which we booked. She recommends a fantastic guide/driver Mohamed who we also highly recommend.|A short minutes walk from the Riad you find yourself in the middle of the Souk with all its energy and ‘buzz’ that is the total Marrakech experience. When you walk through the doors of Riad UP you can relax in the pool, or on the rooftop terrace for sunset. |We had an incredible dinner the first night which you can arrange before your arrival and the food was exceptional!

Riad UP is a beautiful hidden gem! The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Everything was super clean, and the attention to detail was impressive. The Staff and also the Owner Elsa are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

We stayed four nights in Riad Up and had a simply wonderful time. The riad is amazing, open courtyard with dipping pool & various places to sit/relax and a top level with great views over the medina. Breakfast was fantastic and we had dinner at the riad on two of our nights. All the meals (Moroccan cuisine) were fabulous. We cannot say enough about Elsa and here staff. They are wonderful people and we hated to leave. Definitely hope to make it back again!

We had an excellent stay! The Riad is so calming and relaxing with beautiful furnishings throughout. There are only six rooms so it feels very private and relaxed. The two roof top terraces are so comfortable to relax in after a day exploring the city. We would stay here again! The staff is just as lovely and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stay Elsa and staff!

Very Stylish Riad with great communal areas , both inside and on roof terraces. We had a nice room for 3 people with good air conditioning. Excellent food, both breakfast & evening meal. Friendly & helpful staff. A very enjoyable stay all round.

Really enjoyed our stay at Riad Up! A beautiful place to stay with a great rooftop to enjoy breakfast or just relax. Also a great sitting area on the ground floor with games and books available. Excellent accommodation to escape the busy Medina! Elsa was very helpful, all staff were very polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
