Everything about thos place is cool. Start of the art visitor centre. Welcoming and highly knowledgeable staff. You get to walk back in time to where our ancestors lived and died.
Highly recommend a visit

Unusual early christian/pagan site, the exact purpose unknown.
Not much remains only foundations but the inscibed standing stone is definitely worth a look.

While the structures at the Reask Monastic site are no longer standing, the general outline of the structures and the stones slabs or Reask stones are well preserved. Actually a small footprint for a settlement, it must have been quite isolated and therefore quite good for clergy seeking religious purpose and clarity. Worth a stop if you happen to drive by.

We stumbled upon this ancient site on our way to the Gallarus Oratory, one of the many that lined the our way around the Dingle Peninsula and Ireland in general. It's amazing to think that places like this were built so long ago!

A nightmare to find ......but well worth the effort. Very well tended site with reconstructed stone huts as used by monks. Some beautiful inscribed stones in addition to the famous Reask stone. Information board is useful. Parking available.

An important archaeological site but not really a lot to see.
