Ribeira Collection Hotel by Piamonte Hotels

The hotel is in a very nice seeting near the reiver and a walking distant to the village center. The rooms were confortable and clean with very good beds. The pool e quite small and interior in the summer you can bathe in the river but is probably not for everyone with a rocky bottom. We enjoyed it and did some paddel boarding on it. Breakfast is average for the price point. Not a lot of variety, but you have some fruit, scrabled eggs, beans, bacon, some average bread and croissants and some pastries. In one of the nights there was live music in the restaurant until 23h:30m which I founf rediculous since the restaurant is directly above the rooms and you can here the noise inside de room. So if you like to go to bed early, is quite anoying, and the hotel should mesure if it is worth it to anoy guests to have not so god live music in the restaurant. I think most people prefer a good quiet quality reataurant without that kind of poor performances that do not let you hear yourself think.

The bedroom is really good. You will sleep so well in a huge bed. 24h spa, amazing. The staff is really nice. You can find everything that you want for the breakfast with the view on the river. Nothing to say, we spent one night and it was more than what we expected.

We only stayed one night, but overall we had a good experience.|I do believe some things could be improved.|- room size is small for the money we payed;|- the shower could’ve benefit from a bigger glass protection as lots of water splashed out;|- the room would’ve benefit from another bin ( there was only one small in the bathroom).|- the buttons from the remote of the TV were very difficult to change channel and even to turn off the TV;|- the breakfast could have a bit more variety of food and drinks.||The staff was very friendly and they had attention to detail, I would like to thank them as well for the little gift they offered for our wedding anniversary :) very thoughtful.

Ribeira Collection Hotel by Piamonte Hotels is a true gem for anyone visiting the area. Situated in an incredible location right next to the river, it offers breathtaking views, especially from the outdoor seating area. The convenience of a garage for parking adds to the ease of your stay, while the exceptional food ensures a delightful dining experience. The 24-hour Wellness facilities are a standout feature, providing relaxation and rejuvenation at any time. The staff are remarkably friendly and attentive, making guests feel genuinely welcome. It's undoubtedly a must-visit hotel in the region, and I would absolutely return for another stay.

Beautiful location but the hotel would benefit from a few tweaks. Eg. Very rudimentary breakfast lacking basic items. Hotel offers bike hire, to be paid for, but does not maintain bikes so they have broken bits, brakes etc.. Quite dangerous on the tough Riverside paths. Barely warm showers. Hotel sauna not hot. Oddly designed rooms with tea making in a cupboard. Nonetheless lovely setting overlooking the river and friendly staff and we very much enjoyed our stay

Lovely location and serene setting. My initial complaint of the spa not being clean was dealt with quickly and I appreciate the staffs effort for sorting it. |My only negative is the housekeeping times. They were really strange. Usually at a hotel rooms are cleaned between 9am- 3pm so when you get back from a day out you return to a nice clean room. Everyday when I came back to my room, my room was either not cleaned already or they were cleaning- at 6pm. This time is usually when people are getting ready for the evening. So I had to wait around between 5-7pm outside while my room was done.

Ribeira is a nice hotel - location is excellent with everything else being good to average. Management can pay more attention to details - as an example, no tissue paper in the room, only one small garbage can etc. The hotel has a swimming pool, sauna and steam room - the last two were not working when I used it earlier.

Tradicional hotel with modern facilities. Lovely location just by the river and an old bridge. We got an upgrade on our room located on the old building facing the river. The room was very nice with a king size bed.
