Domaine Riberach (Bélesta, Occitanie) 3 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In the village of Bélesta, just outside of Perpignan, in the corner of France most deeply touched by Catalan culture, is the Domaine Riberach, a winery co-op turned hotel, something of a modern eco-lodge right in the shadow of the village’s medieval castle. Its owners are architects, which accounts for the building’s visual distinctiveness, as well as a predilection for articulated lamps and modernist furniture. In addition to the lodgings there’s a working vineyard and a natural winery, whose products are for sale in the hotel’s shop; there’s also a spa and three restaurants, including a gastronomic option and a barbecue pop-up." - Tablet Hotels

Underwhelming This is a beautiful, modern, stylish hotel built around ecologically high standards and saving energy. Wifi was very bad and thus cell phone reception in our room was also basically not existing. Limited climate control is possible and when the room gets cooled, there is constantly a really wet floor where you soak your socks. Consequently, the walls have some mold. The staff was very nice to explain that all this is normal and part of the ecolodge concept. You should know this before you book. We travel and work, so it was not adequate for us.

We had a great 3 night stay as a family with 2 kids and a dog. The family rooms with a terrace and view out the back side of the hotel are great. There is a nice natural pool that we enjoyed even though it was relatively cold (we visited in May). The restaurant was excellent, which is to be expected with a Michelin star. The service was very friendly, and they even offered to send us some clothes that we left in our room by mistake. We did the 4x4 wine safari which was a lot of fun. We were a little disappointed in the quality of the wine, but that really didn't affect our trip.

We arrived on bicycles … exhausted. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. She assisted us in moving our bikes to a garage. The hotel had everything we needed and more. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Highly recommended.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The suite rooms with terrace are top class. The restaurant is amongst the very best. Everything is highly professional without being at all stuffy. Calm quiet gardens and a wonderful natural swimming pool

The hotel was very good. We had ordered a table in the restaurant.....but when we arrived we was directed to the outdoor bistro below. Very cold and windy. We asked to sit in the sofas on terass, as recommended by the receptionist. But this are was only reserved for the cooperativ..... no service at all. Then the wine for the maincourse was corked (defect) and new wine was served after we had finisched our food. Bad service! We asked the servent to give us the wine that was matched with our course; File. But she did not understand . The file was ordered medium but is was more than welldone. Uneatable.!! We are in the business and was planning a trip for a group to visit you......but will not ever visit you again. And never recommend your restaurant to anyone we know. We are sorry!

We availed of the altitude package, 3 night half board stay in a junior suite. The boutique hotel is situated in a sleepy village in the wine hills 30 mins outside Perpignan. Staff were fantastic, very helpful especially when making up for our lack of speaking French. The hotel was converted from an old winery, charmingly restored and totally unique. The food is excellent and the Riberach wines delicious. This is French hospitality at its finest, a magic spot to chill and relax.

Such a beautiful hotel and location. The junior suite rooms are superb. The restaurant is simply one of the best in which we have eaten. Staff are all quietly attentive and professional. The natural swimming pool is a refreshing delight
