Have been to their Highgate (Burnaby) location before, but not in a while, so was looking forward to having their food again! I had their Pad See Ew with beef (total $16.25 including tax). It was a good portion size for a filling lunch! For light eaters, it could probably be stretched for 2 meals. You can't see it in the image, but it did have a fair amount of tender, thin beef slices for the $2.49 protein add-on. I thought the rice noodles and pre-set ingredients (egg, broccoli, bok choy, carrots, onions) were cooked well. They added a good crunch to the dish!
My friend had their Tom Yum Soup with prawn. While they were sitting in the broth, she believed the tomatoes tasted slightly off, and was missing its freshness. While customers can dine-in and the food is brought to the table after it's cooked, everything else is self-serve (water, utensils, returning plates to a tray). Rice and Noodle continues to be a fast and consistent, casual eatery for Thai/Asian food. Would recommend.
