Rice & Spicy Thai Kitchen

This place is kinda small and hidden but don’t let that fool you. If you want great service, friendly staff, nice decor, and authentic Thai food this is a choice place to try. For an appetizer I ordered shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce. The flavors in the rolls were fresh, crisp, and delicious. For my main course I ordered Thai tea and pad Thai with crispy pork belly. This dish came with strong flavors and spices that were clearly Thai and had an excellent taste. To end the meal I tried the sticky rice and fresh ripe mango. This did not disappoint and was a perfect sweet exclamation point to end the evening. Loved all the aspects this small place had to offer, especially the food. A big thank goes to this mom and pop shop for delivering a memorable dining experience. 👍❤️

First time and it was a great experience. We had the lunch special which the waitress recommended. The green curry was a 10/10, Pad Thai noodles were just as tasty. The place was very clean. I would come back and recommend.

WOW! This place is a GEM. If you like Thai, you must go here. My mom loved the Crab fried rice. I got a noodle dish with a lot of basil. It was excellent. Ask for it if you like basil. Ever dish was full of flavor and just really excellent. Our whole party of 6 people loved every dish. Everyone said they were going back. They do not offer a military discount which is not expected and ok but I report for those that like to know.

It's a little hole in the wall but they have a great menu. I had one of the lunch specials and I had to take half home because it was so much food!! I will definitely be back. I can't wait to try other dishes on their menu!

This place is the best! I’ve never had anything bad here yet, and their menu is quite large. Very impressive that they do so many things well. And their sushi is the best I’ve had in San Antonio so far. It’s always fresh and the flavors are bright and not muddled together like other places I’ve tried (mostly sushi shops). The service is always excellent and they’re so friendly. I love to eat here whenever I get the chance. The only downside is they don’t make their curry pastes in house, so they can’t control the spice level and make them mild. This is sad for me, because my spice tolerance is super low and I can’t enjoy most of their curries.

First time here since my fave Pho Vn Bistro was closed. Drove 35 minutes to fulfill my craving. Ordered the kids chicken fried rice, the thai crispy spring rolls, and the chicken pad thai WITHOUT peanuts. The food was delicious, however the rolls were burnt and my pad thai had peanuts. Thank God I don’t have an allergy to them.

The only thing missing was some good dessert options because this local Thai spot has flavor on lockdown. Best crab fried rice in town with just the right amount of heat. All of the other items in my meal were also delicious and will definitely make another trip so that my wife can enjoy

Waitresses are very attentive and kind, very nice and calm ambience in the restaurant. Smaller spot but definitely high quality food, we found it while looking for gluten free on a trip and they were knowledgeable both for myself (gluten sensitivity) and my sister (celiac disease). They even made my sister's dish without garlic because she's sensitive to that too. I got the pad woon sient with beef since it was one of my favorite Thai foods pre-diagnosis and it did not disappoint, I ate the whole thing lol Would definitely come back :)
