This was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. The seven pepper calamari was nice and light, the sticky pork belly salad had a great balance of sweetness and sourness, and the 10-hour coconut braised beef was incredibly soft, tender, and packed with flavour. They don’t take bookings. We arrived around 4:30pm and were out by 5pm. By the time we left, there was a long queue, though service is very quick. It almost feels like a fancy fast-food style setup. While efficient, some waiters could be a bit more attentive and approachable. Overall, still a solid dining experience.

Went to Rice Boi in Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast) and overall it was an outstanding dinner. We ordered the crispy eggplant chips, edamame, sticky pork belly, and the 10-hour coconut braised beef. The sticky pork belly was easily our favourite, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The eggplant chips were super crispy, but for us they tasted a bit too fried and heavy. The edamame was a nice, simple side. Portion wise, this feels better for sharing with a group rather than just two people, especially if you want to try a few dishes. The braised beef was good and tender, but there were too many flavours competing and we did not end up finishing it. It was also pretty noisy inside and we waited around 45 to 60 minutes in the queue. Even with those points, the food was still excellent overall and we would definitely come back, mainly for that pork belly.

All I can say is, I am always asked if I could choose any meal for my last meal on earth and I have never had an meal spring to mind.. NOW I DO!!! It would be from RICEBOI!! Wow, food was exceptional. There was quite a queue when we arrived but it was expected at 6:30. We thought it was going to be an hour wait but the queue moves quite fast so we only waited 25 mins! There was a 25 min wait in the food queue but they only had one person on the tills so again expected. We ordered the Prawn Laksa, 10hour slow cooked braised beef, katsu fries and spring rolls. ALL dishes were stupendously tasty. Such a mix of flavours. We have travelled south east asia and this has been hands down the best Asian restaurant we have ever visited. We are travelling from Perth on our lap of Australia and we will be revisiting again before we leave!! Check out my tiktok for the video 🤌🏽 (Shanicemeerally)

We had the best fusion meal in Queensland! I’m glad we joined the dinner queue. We visited on a Friday night, and the restaurant was packed, but the service was fast, so we didn’t have to wait long. We ordered at the bar, and the service was quick and hassle-free. The food was incredible! The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavours were amazing. We were blown away by the eggplant chips (must order!), the char siu pork with the Chinese pancake, and the charcoal chicken rice bowl (an unexpected but delicious choice). The sumo chicken bao was also good, and the fried chicken was juicy. If you’re in the Mooloolaba area, you absolutely must try this Asian fusion restaurant.

For the most recommended restaurant at the wharf in Sunshine Coast, it doesn't disappoint. The portion is good for the price of the dishes, except for the 10hr braised beef, very little meat. 👍Fresh ingredients and good flavour of the dishes for fusion meals. 👎 It's a very busy place, be prepared to queue, the wait for the meal was quite a while. Service was hardly commendable after the food arrives. You have to help yourself with the cups of water if you don't order any drink. 👎 Too much coriander on the barramundi salad.

Beautiful place to sit and enjoy some gorgeous food by the water. 3 adults, 3 mains, all absolutely delicious. 10hr slow cooked beef curry, char siu pork, calamari. $88 great price for amazing food! Fast service, would highly recommend!

What a beautiful place to dine after a quick trip to the Sea Life Aquarium. The drinks and food was amazing! Honestly one of the best ramens I have had the broth is clean, flavoursome, perfect amount of meat and toppings. 💋💋💋

Everything we ordered was on the sweeter side, but still very enjoyable. The deep-fried eggplant was especially delicious and definitely a highlight. Portions were generous as well.

Yelp
Riceboi is a buzzing, casual eatery that brings the street food vibes of Asia right to the heart of Mooloolaba. With its funky decor and laid-back atmosphere, it's the perfect spot to kick back with friends. The menu offers a mouthwatering selection of Asian-inspired dishes, from flavorful bao buns to rich, aromatic curries. The seafood, particularly the salt and pepper calamari, was a standout. The cocktails are equally refreshing and pair well with the spicy dishes. Service was quick and efficient, even during the busy rush. If you're after bold flavors and a cool, lively setting, Riceboi is the place to go.

Yelp
A great Asian inspired restaurant. It's always busy, though, so be prepared to wait. The Green Chicken Curry for a main is delicious, as for an appetiser I'd recommend the spring rolls too. It's hard to pick a favourite from the menu as everything I've tried is amazing, and I've given almost everything on the menu a try. Staff are always on their game and a lot of effort has gone into making the atmosphere enjoyable.

Yelp
Awesome tasty food on a buzzy environment. Four of us shared a feast for $78 and had plenty of food with delicious flavours. My fav were the pork & ginger dumplings and the chicken bao bun. We also had yummy eggplant chips - long pieces of deep fried eggplant, like a tempura - with hoisin sauce. The spring rolls were so tasty with coconut creamed filled flavour. Excellent experience and great venue in the newly developed Mooloolaba wharf.

Yelp
Braised Coconut beef and My Ramen were our dishes . Spot on . Presentation , flavour and quick service . 5/5 . Too bad I don't live near here otherwise I would love to try more items ...

Yelp
Great original fare. No reservations taken...queues guaranteed. Some outdoor seating. Prices reasonable.

Yelp
One of the best 5 years ago. Not as good since they have opened multiple restraints, servings not as consistent. Still better than most options around

Yelp
Very popular, deservedly, with a long line every time we passed by. We opted for takeout (ok, takeaway), which we ate right next to the takeout counter on public benches. Had the duck bao, salt and pepper wings, lotus chips, pork and ginger dumplings. Everything we had was good. Super crispy skin on the duck. Enough chips to last well into the next day. Fun food.

Yelp
OMG, 100% one of the best places I've been to...I wish I could eat this everyday. Probably my favorite was the green curry, spicy and sweet and lingered just perfectly on your palette with every bite. I can't recommend this place enough.

Yelp
Very popular and has an excellent vibe great value and great staff. The food is authentic and fresh and highly flavoursome. This place is an hidden gem. I highly recommend it. My criticism of this venue is the order and pay process one must queue order pay grab a number and find a seat. This is ok but if after what you order is not enough one needs to queue order and wait for the additional order to be delivered which is inconvenient for the customer and bad for the business in lost sales.

Yelp
Rice Boi is amazing food! The line up is long but moves quick. You can't book but if you time it right it doesn't take long to get in. The spring rolls , fried chicken and bad buns are amazing if you're after a quick share bite to eat. Best restaurant on the Warf by far... prices are up there but the food is worth it and location is brilliant. Highly recommend. Takeaway js also just as good !!

Yelp
Wow. Just cruising the wharf, saw this restaurant. I was jonesing for a curried lentil pie but to no avail. Had a look in this new restaurant I'd not seen before, they had a vegan/vegetarian menu. Awesome. Let's do it. Was. Not. Disappointed. Got two dishes and they were amazing. They are artists with tofu, and with flavours. Such flavours. All working together. And the taste it left in my mouth afterwards. I can't get over it. Will come back. Often. Thanks guys. Awesome

Yelp
Chef Mitch (formerly from Junk) is on a winner here near the Sea Life complex. Mitch mix's fresh produce, asian infusions & complex curries to manufacture amazing dishes that will pleasently surprise your taste buds. Quick service an added bonus, very enjoyable

Yelp
Great place, run by the same people who do Junk in Maroochydore. Offers the same sort of tasty and inexpensive Asian tapas. Calimari was excellent, and the fried chicken was probably the least impressive dish. But putting the leftover calimari sauce on the fried chicken was a winning idea. In any case, well worth a visit.

Yelp
Went here tonight for the 2nd time. The food was unbelievable!! Sooo good!! The only thing that let them down tonight was the staff. Not sure what was going on, but all were very abrupt, no smiles, no friendliness whatsoever. I hope they were just having a bad night. The food was good enough to go back and give them another chance, but the staff definitely need to cheer up. Give it a go, hopefully ours was just a one off.

Yelp
This has to be the best Asian food on the Sunshine Coast. Deliciously fragrant - great share dishes and reasonably priced. Loved all the dishes we tried these included Pork Belly, Ginger and Pork dumplings and the best Green chicken curry - definitely will return on our next visit to the coast. Yum

Yelp
Oh my god! Quick cheap and really really good food!!! You have to order the eggplant chips and the green curry. Bloody amazing!
