Rich Lanna House

10/10 for everything!! The rooms are large, clean, airy & beautifully decorated. Yhe bed is big and very comfortable. The staff are so friendly, smiley and efficient. The location is great, the pool are fabulous. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. I can’t praise it highly enough. Stunning!!!

I've stayed here twice now in two different rooms on the second floor and both times have been fantastic. The staff are great. They're super flexible and accommodating. Early check in, late check out. They stored our bags for free and let me hand by the pool even though I'd checked out already. The rooms are clean and comfy. The house has a very homelike feel. The pool is so nice to jump into after trekking around town. Even though it's on the main road the rooms are quiet. Easy to walk to some great eating spots and restaurants. Best weed shop next door. For all these reasons I will come again.

Really nice rooms and interior. The pool was a highlight for sure. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Right next to a 7/11 which was convenient.

We had a good stay at Rich Lanna House in November 2024. The staff was friendly and helpful, even assisting us in booking a visit to an ethical elephant sanctuary (no riding), which we greatly appreciated. Everything was perfect until the last night when we started packing. My girlfriend had been using the in-room safe to store her passport and some cash. While the safe worked perfectly the day before, on our final night, the password we set stopped working. It was already late at night, and after struggling for a while, I decided to try the default "0000" code. Surprisingly, the safe opened. My girlfriend's passport was still there, but some cash was missing. While we don't want to make accusations, we are quite certain about the amount that was originally there. What felt particularly strange and concerning was that the safe functioned properly during our entire stay, yet suddenly stopped working on the last night. It appeared as though someone might have accessed it using a master key or reset the code. This experience was very unsettling and left us with an unpleasant impression during an otherwise fantastic trip. I feel this situation was unprofessional and undermines trust in the hotel.

We stayed in a windowless room on the first night but we’re told that they’d move us in an upper room the following morning; we’re happy they did. It’s a quaint boutique old house-turned-hotel with all the basic amenities. Location is perfect as it’s by the walls of the old town and everything else is walking distance, even the 24-hour laundry close by! They didn’t serve breakfast but their coffee house is a must-visit. One of the best es-yen I’ve tried in Chiang Mai.

Wonderful location right on the edge of the old town. Lovely rooms, staff, pool and amenities. Highly recommend!

We stayed for just two days and it was a really lovely stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, with good water pressure in the bathroom. The internet also worked well. The pool was small but lovely and provided a nice space to cool down at the end of the day.

Wonderful stay at Rich Lanna. Room was clean & spacious for 2 ppls. We enjoyed the stay and spent most time during day-time. Staffs were friendly & helpful. The hotel was a bit old but they have been maintained very well. Nothing to complain. Will go back definitely.
