Nice, well-maintained trails. Restrooms were closed so had to leave sooner than I hoped.

Very cool place and all the little creatures. No gators but I could imagine there probably are some in that water. Very nice paths for all the crabs to dig holes and live under. These squirrels 🐿️ around here have very big nuts 🥜. But I enjoyed walking around and hearing nature. I like the old buildings especially the flooring in the big house. If I ever come back I’ll visit here again

I attended a beautiful wedding at this venue! Not only did they set everything up in such a beautiful way, but the grounds alone are breathtaking. The ceremony was held outside, but where we were shielded by the few rain showers that took place. Birds were LITERALLY singing in the background the entire time!! That's the universe and nature coming together to celebrate the union between 2 of my dear friends! Drinks, tapas, and dancing were held in the building with the kitchen and such. This was my first time visiting, and I would honestly go back just to be around all of that beauty! It was a special occasion and one I was honored to attend. If you're wondering about whether or not to book an event or affair there, don't hesitate!

We had our wedding here on May 11, 2019. Nice venue with beautiful nature and ample space. A little on the expensive side though. We did experienced some miscommunications regarding the tables and chairs that comes with the venue, and had to shuffle at last minute with outside vendors. Also, the AC stopped functioning in the Manor house (bridal suite) on the day of our wedding. Nevertheless, our day was awesome. We did not regret choosing here. Just wished that these issues could have been prevented. We had our wedding ceremony outside, in front of the gazebo, and the reception by the carriage house. We did also have a backup plan in the event that it rain. Indoor was set up with chairs and tables since it was rainy season. The outdoor bar area and the dance floor was a big hit for our guest! Great venue for amazing photoshoots! Scott was very responsive via email.

Walking from bar to bar in Wilton’s Manor, you feel sun scorched from the concrete radiating through your sole and the alcohol oozing from your pores. Richardson Park and Preserve offers an oasis. You will find a beautiful green canopy surrounded by water ways. What an escape from the noise and festive atmosphere known as Wilton Drive, yet it is actually located on the Drive. The are walkways and paths to enjoy around the park This is a great way to really enjoy nature.

The Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve is a five-and-a-half-acre park situated along the South Fork of the Middle River. Just about a block south of City Hall and across from the Dairy Queen. The property contains the main Richardson residence, which was constructed in 1958, and a frame carriage house from 1926. The main residence, Manor House, provides a quaint location for receptions, meetings, special events and office space for the Wilton Manors Historical Society and City of Wilton Manors Leisure Services Department staff. The carriage house is used as a museum and provides artifacts and materials that will preserve the City of Wilton Manors history, culture and heritage. Kayak rentals are available every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There's free parking for those wanting to just stroll the green spaces, come close to the tranquil waters or just relax under the trees.

This a gorgeous 5.4 acre park located in Wilton Manors. The parking lot is large and can accommodate a lot of cars. The park is bordered at the end by the historic Richardson House and carriage house that is available for rent for weddings and other events. The very reasonable prices for the rentals can be found on their website. There is a stunning gazebo on the grounds perfect for your pictures. Behind the house there is a large picnic pavilion and a boardwalk that runs through the certified wildlife habitat and along the river. On my walk I saw so many birds, iguanas, lizards, and squirrels. This is one of the nicest natural areas I have explored. If I was hosting an event I would definitely consider this beautiful spot.

One wouldn't usually think of a little 5.4 acre park to be anything worthy of yelping about, but Richard Historic Park and Nature Preserve happens to be one. It has everything a good park should have. It has quiet green space, lovely trees, a natural nature surrounding, a historic building, plenty of parking, an observation walk and pier, a boat dock, a superb location and provides a variety of recreational not only for individuals but for community functions as well. Wilton Manors, sometimes known as the Island City, really is an island city, but only somewhat, being bordered by the North and the South Fork of the Middle River, and it is in Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve that the "Wilton Manors Taste of the Island" event is held wherein numerous area restaurants offer a taste of the culinary arts. It is also here that people enjoy nature walks, bird watching, picnics, fishing, and canoeing, kayaking, crabbing and other leisure activities. The centerpiece of the park is the historic Richardson building, the grandest and most prominently historic (historic because here, other than retirees from the north, things aren't very old) home in Wilton Manors. Built in 1958 as the Richardson's manor house it was sold to the City of Wilton Manors in 2002 and dedicated as a park in 2007.

Oh my gosh, what a darling little park. I was lucky enough to attend the wedding of one of my dearest friends, here. It was like a fairy tale setting, with the beautiful historic home and the graceful trees. I had no idea this little spot was in Wilton Manors, but I will try to stop by as often as I can to indulge in the scenery. Very beautiful historic home preserved for special events. I held my mother's celebration of life here in January. I found the city rather difficult to work with as they were very inflexible with hours. They also took a very long time to get my deposit returned to me.
