Dined here for the first time today for an early dinner. Staff was super friendly as soon as we walked in the door. Place was clean, airy, and nicely decorated. Menu is very expansive with plenty of choices for appetizers and entrées. Went with the mofonguito trio to start off....very tasty. For the main dishes, I had the pollo guisado, and my wife had the pernil. Both were very well prepared and delicious. Our waitress, Taylor, who was superb, asked us if we wanted to try the house hot sauce. I'm glad we did...it was great!! Nice kick, but not overwhelming. Not sure why we waited so long to dine here, but will definitely be back in the near future. An awesome experience.

Google
Amazing place. Service is amazing. Our server Natalie was truly one of the friendliest servers I, as well as my family, who I went with, as had in recent times. Also the man himself Richie came out to greet us. The food was amazing as well. The mofongito trio was amazing as well as the pescado frito. Amazing place, will come again

Great food, our waitress was super efficient and handled all the tables by herself. The bean soup was so good.

Finally made my way to this restaurant after seeing the great reviews online. We came in for a late lunch and sat with my Family of 5 (Was maybe 5 tables of 12 being used us included) We waited maybe 10 minutes before we were given menus. (At this point another couple comes to sit down) After ordering food and 3 drinks we waited another 10-15 minutes before I had to ask for the drinks. (That couple got food and drinks once we got our drinks) We received the children’s meal about 15 minutes before our meal came. We got the mofongo and cubano and my child got the braised chicken. The kids meal was impressive but the monfongo and ropa veja were lacking in flavor. The cubano was the best thing we tried besides the kids braised chicken. Overall not the experience I expected for a quick sit down style restaurant.

Google
Food was delicious, service was on point, and you can tell the owner and staff really take pride in their work. I’ll be dreaming about the pernil until I come back. Highly recommend!

Google
ate dinner here with a friend last night and had a fabulous experience start to finish! I wish I'd noted our servers names, because they were both fantastic--lovely, warm, and personable. the restaurant itself is extremely clean and welcoming for enjoying a meal, and the food was excellent. enormous portions and we both loved our entrees! I can't wait to return. my only tiny gripe was that the air conditioning did not feel super strong in the dining area, although it was very cool in the bathroom. on a sticky hot evening, it was a little uncomfortable for me. that said, everything else otherwise was perfect.

Google
The sign outside is a little tough to see as you drive so keep that in mind. Anyway, the food was tasty and well prepared and presented. The service was pretty good and I was able to get a parking spot right out front. A very enjoyable meal!

Google
This restaurant experience was awesome. I came here with my wife. As soon as we were seated we were greeted by the charismatic Richie, who not only took our orders but also infused our dining experience with genuine warmth and attentiveness. His recommendations were spot-on, reflecting his passion for ensuring guests' satisfaction. Each dish was delicious and flavorful, the rice and chicken were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Patacon chimichurri sandwich was amazing as well. The plantains were flavorful and had the prefect texture, and the meat was well cooked and amazing. We finished and savored every last bite of both dishes. In summary, our time here was nothing short of awesome and delicious, both in terms of the food and exemplary service. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience to make this spot their next destination.

Yelp
itchie's Kitchen in Ossining is *.. a highly recommended destination for exquisite Latin-infused cuisine. Not only is the food visually appealing, but it is also absolutely delicious. Staff is friendly and very attentive . Ritchie the owner/ chef came out and introduced himself and we have a great conversation with him . Restaurant is small but perfect and very clean . It's a must go to

Yelp
Went back a few weeks ago and can say the service is much better. Although there is still just one guy, he is working hard and I didn't have to change tables or wait too long. Just don't come here if you're in a rush. The Food is a little over salted. Chimmichurri was in a pink sauce style, was okay but salty. I prefer the green style. Overall decent Vibes! Sadly they didn't have the Trés leches cake in stock.

Yelp
My dad recommended this place as we are in town visiting from out of state. He raved about the food so I had high expectations. Between the friendly staff and the wonderful food, my expectations were exceeded. Hispanic restaurants have a way of cutting corners to keep up with demand. But Richie's brought the flavor with the velvety stewed beans. The churrasco was tender and delicious cooked to temp of choice. The pork chops were fried to a crisp and somehow still very juicy. The mofongo was served with plenty of that addicting garlicky sauce. I wish I had a second stomach so I could keep eating. We were welcomed with warm smiles and urgent service. The chef came out and spoke with us. The space was clean and straight forward. Run, don't walk to this place.

Yelp
Place was a small but light elegance to it when I first walked in. There wasn't much people when I went so service was to par. I loved the passion fruit juice and the Patacon was awesome and huge to where I had to take it home. It was a nice time and a great experience. Would definitely go back when I visit Ossining again.

Yelp
If you haven't gone to Richie's yet, RUN. Oh my goodness the food is divine!!! The flavors I grew up with now close to home! I had to go to Peekskill for subpar Dominican food, and at that point I just thought I might as well make the drive down to the Bronx instead. Now I can literally walk over and have fresh Dominican cuisine any time! The customer service was awesome, the place wasn't busy (it should be, it is so darn good) and Richie was just so welcoming and kind! He gave me a generous sample of the ropa vieja because I'd never had it before! (I've never gone to a restaurant where I was given a sample without having to ask for one or being made to feel weird about having to ask. Needless to say, I went with the ropa vieja with rice and beans, and my husband had the pernil with rice and pigeon peas. We had food envy over each other's picks and shared all of it in the end. The passion fruit juice was so good it reminded me of Saturday mornings in the heights. The place was beautiful and clean, and while I took my food to go, I definitely will dine in the next time. I should've taken photos but I ate the food so quickly it was an afterthought!! Photos to come the next time I go!

Yelp
Visiting my sister in Ossining and she'd wanted to try this place so went on a Wednesday night. Oh my God was it good!! Nice spot on the very cute Ossining Main Street. It wasn't crowded at all, but hopefully that's just because it's a weeknight towards the end of summer. Waitress was wonderful, very helpful as we navigated the menu. Everyone loved their food. I had the PATACN DE CHIMICHURRI and it was tremendous. Highly recommend this place if you are in Ossining!

Yelp
We were planning on trying Mexican but, alas, restaurant was closed. Down the street was Ritchie's Kitchen...we decided to give it a try. Wow, a definite 5 out of 5 rating. The pernil and chicharrones were incredible. Spices were right on and the chicharrones were super crispy and not greasy...and the spicing of the beans and rice was pure perfection...oh, and try the platanos maduros...OMG. This place is a gem!...and the staff and owner make you feel like a part of their family. We will be back and recommend everyone run to this fabulous restaurant...you will not be disappointed!!

Yelp
We were hungry after the pumpkin blaze and with our good friend Yelp we looked at some photos and most importantly some of the reviews. The fact that Richie's had 5 stars was a good motivator with my group but the fact that it was Latin food is what sealed the deal. The food was phenomenal, our server was fantastic, and the ambiance was nice! Another note is that we arrived at 9pm and they closed at 10, we apologized but they welcomed us with open hands. All the food came out and it was all 5/5 stars for the flavor, the plating and the speed. I'll stop rambling but what I will say is that if we didn't live an hour away, we'd stop by religiously.

Yelp
OH BOY!!! FINALLY! I've found a Latin restaurant in Westchester worth the visit! I am Latina and a serious cook of my Latina culinary roots. I am always so disappointed when I frequent Latin restaurants only to experience commercial food. Richie's Kitchen is literally the first restaurant that was not only DELICIOUS cuisine but so satisfying to the pallet!! WOW!! I regret not taking photos. But that was because we had such a wonderful time with the owner & chef, Richie! He is such a kind & amicable soul! And super committed to his craft!! We love that! Thank you Richie for such a rich & enjoyable culinary & engaging experience. As promised... we will be back with our adult kids! They trust me so I k ow they'll be excited to dine at Richie's Kitchen! Toni & Benjamín Rivera

Yelp
My husband and I dined at Richie's last night to celebrate his birthday. We like to support our local businesses. We were greeted by a lovely server. The service was friendly, prompt and most importantly the food! Will definitely be back with family and friends. A great little spot worth a visit.

Yelp
By far the greatest Hispanic food you can find in Westchester County - Bar none. I'm notoriously critical of cultural food, especially in this county where usually the places feeding you have absolutely no idea what they're doing, yet get snarky about having high ratings - The people giving those ratings are usually clueless as well. At Richie's, you get excellent food with minimal wavering in quality. The service is excellent and always polite, and Chef Richie's presence both in and out of the kitchen is inspiring. It doesn't feel like you're just eating at a restaurant - it feels like someone is truly feeding you. And to the folks who understand how special that is, I highly recommend you try this place out. Yelp
A wonderful addition to Ossining dining. The food was delicious. We ordered mofonguito trio (just got beef and chicken instead of beef, chicken and shrimp) as an appetizer and loved it. My husband got the chimichurri burger and he said it was cooked as order and tasted great. I got chicken breast with rice and pigeon peas, and loved it. The chicken was seasoned perfectly. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated with modern decor and is spotless.

Yelp
Finally got to try Richie's Kitchen here in O-Town. Cute place on main street, nice upscale vibe inside. Warm, welcoming service. We enjoyed delicious rice and beans - and some wonderful spices - to start. I could have just eaten a bowlful and been satisfied. We followed up with the Ropa Vieja and the braised chicken, both served with rice and plantains. Gorgeous presentation, plated prettily and topped with Nasturtium flower. Pricing is fair - even a bargain when considering the superb quality. Lunch specials available too. We're eager to return to try the chimichurri burger and other appealing items on a nice varied menu.

Yelp
I was very impressed with the meal I just enjoyed at Richie's. It's a classy little joint to sit down in. It's small but it's not just a takeout spot. For starters I thought the guacamole was pretty good, definitely made fresh. I then decided on the mofongo with skirt steak and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection and the mofongo was really good. Richie is a restaurant owner who seems to really take pride in the food he serves, this was evident through the presentation of his dishes. This place has better food than all the other "Latin fusion" spots in the area and it should be more popular. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Stopped in to treat myself for lunch...had the Quesadillas today...wow, beautifully served takeout...clean,crisp and delicious...beautiful restaurant...great service.. Richie himself is a gem...love this place...each dish better than the last...can't wait for next time.

Yelp
Went to Richie's Kitchen on Saturday night about 7:30pm. This was my first time there and loved the food and portion size. The only knock would be is service. Seems like they needed more help to take phone orders and wait on inside and outside guests. I will be back when in the area...

Yelp
I've ordered takeout from Richie's Kitchen before, but this was my first time eating in. We were actually on our way to another place, but as we were walking by, I realized that Richie's had just opened for the day, so we stopped in. The ambiance and service were definitely worth it! The inside is very trendy and modern, but also warm. They had great merengue and bachata playing. It reminded me of the big parties my family used to throw when I was a kid. My son was very energetic, so he was running around a little bit, but our server was very kind about it (he wasn't touching anything he shouldn't and there weren't other patrons until just before we left). The food was FANTASTIC. I got los tres golpes with a side of coffee. The plating was gorgeous (see the picture). The egg that came with it was fried TO PERFECTION. Nice and crispy on the outside and exactly the right consistency of runny yolk. It was legitimately the best fried egg I've ever had. My son had a grilled cheese sandwich from the kids' menu, plus a side of plátanos maduros, which he was very pleased with. I also got him a morir soñando to try for the first time. He liked it a little; I liked it a lot and was happy to help him finish it. All in all, I'm very happy that we stopped in. It's just good Dominican food, made by someone who clearly knows high-end cooking. I'll have to make a point of eating in more often. And I'm DEFINITELY taking my parents the next time they come to visit (tbh, I was already going to do that based on the takeout, though).

Yelp
Authentic Dominican food made with love and quality!! Warm and attentive service. We had the sancocho, tres golpes and ropa vieja; all outstanding!!

Yelp
This restaurant does not disappoint. I love love love their Red Snapper! Its light crispy batter on the outside is to die for! It's flavorful and moist and meaty!!! OMG!! The white rice is just how I like it. The beans are fantastic. The food is perfection. I highly recommend Richie's Restaurant. The service is excellent. The music will have you wanting to get up and dance to that Latin beat. The prices are very reasonable for the quality! Thank you Richie! All the best!

Yelp
One of the Hudson Valley's newest restaurants Richie's Kitchen is wonderful! It's "nouvelle" Latin cuisine is innovative, clever and excellent! I had the pernil (roast pork) and it was perfectly spiced and cooked. Moist, but not greasy. The rice and beans were also well seasoned and nicely cooked. My partner has the shrimp and mofongo. I am not a fan of mofongo, but Richie's version is fantastic. Not dry and starchy like the mofongo I have had elsewhere, including the Dominican Republic. Flavorful and moist! We also had a special appetizer that was a deconstructed flank steak taco in a lime avocado gastrique. Fabulous and could have been a meal on its own. Our waitress Jeanette was wonderful and Richie, the charming owner and master chef, came out of the kitchen to greet the patrons. The ambiance is elegant and clean. Overall a great experience! We shall be going back soon!

Yelp
Good food, good service. Chef owner came out of kitchen to discuss menu and cooking style. Had guacamole, cuban sandwich and pernil. All were worthy of a return trip to try something new on our next visit.

Yelp
Always get the roast pork meal. Comes with beans and rice. Never disappoints. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable, Servings always good and the cost is not bad as well. Authentic Hispanic food!

Yelp
Delicious dinner tonight. Nice weather so sat outside. All the appetizers and entrees were devoured and so delicious. Especially enjoyed the pernil, pork chop and habichuelas. Nice waitstaff. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
For Valentine's Day my SO and I like to order in, watch a movie, and just hang out. This year we ordered in from Richie's Kitchen and were not disappointed at all. We ordered the pernil with arroz con gandules and the pollo guisado. Both dishes were absolutely tasty!! The arroz con gandules was super flavorful and not dry at all, the pernil was nicely seasoned and moist. The pollo guisado, tasted like grandma's (IYKYK). The ordering was super easy. The time to pickup the food was also very reasonable, 25 minutes. When I got to the restaurant I was greeted kindly by the server who took care of me rather quickly. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Really enjoyed the food and looking forward to ordering from here again.

Yelp
I don't know why it was so difficult to find this establishment on YELP- please look into this is so worth the reviews that is getting and should not be so difficult to find on YELP.I usually write my reviews on YELP but unfortunately Ritchie's didn't come up- which someone really needs to get on because it is awesome and needs to be found on YELP. My husband and I went there kind of early for dinner ( around 4:30) the waitress was very attentive. We ordered the buffalo wings for appetizer and they were crisp and flavorful. My husband ordered the red snapper and I had the Mofongo with chicken. Both dishes were served hot and and were served with attention to detail. My husband was feeling a little under the weather so he packed up his meal to go. They were very accommodating. We will definitely be back. Ritchie's décor is simple, clean and hip and the bathrooms are immaculate. Yelp needs to push this place to the forefront. Oh. yes the Yuca fries are to die for!!

Luis S.

Yelp
Food is authentic, great tasting, and priced right. Service is awesome and Richie is always about saying hi to his customers and getting to know them. Great place to eat and feel at home. Music is great, place is spotless clean, and ambiance is relax easy. My go to place when I don't want to take any chances..
