We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was clean, safe, and well-maintained. The reception staff were incredibly helpful—especially one lady who went out of her way to assist us when we had trouble forwarding our luggage to our next accommodation, which didn’t support this service. She made several calls on our behalf to sort it out.We chose a room with a stunning view, and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel is within walking distance of the station, and there are plenty of shops nearby. I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely recommend this place. I’d happily stay here again.

We had a once in a lifetime experience of best service that that there can be in a hotel. There are too many good things to write about this hotel. The amazing customer service, upgrading of our room, provision of Happy hour every day, high quality housekeeping service, central location (3 minutes to metro) and next door to Sensoji temple, unlimited room supplies, great views and very courteous and kind staff which reflects beautiful traditional Japanese hospitality and its pristine culture. A receptionist went above and beyond in helping me get ketchup from the restaurant even though it was closed! It is these acts of kindness that one never forgets. I am definitely going to stay in this hotel in Tokyo in all my future trips!

As a solo female traveller, this hotel was amazing and I felt very safe during my stay. The front desk operated 24 hours a day and the staff were willing to help with so much. They helped me book an omakase restaurant that I had trouble booking and also fixed an airport transfer for me. The Asakusa area is very touristy and that comes with a lot of law enforcement presence which also made me feel safe. The hotel is really close to Tsukuba express which goes to major stations like Akihabara, but to travel to inner city Tokyo (Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku etc) you need to walk to Tawaramachi station which is like 8 mins away. However you can ride the Tsukuba express to Akihabara and take the ginza/Jr line from there. The room (single, non-smoking) was adequate for 1 person, but felt a bit cramped toward the end of my stay due to all the shopping I’d done. I also loved the mini fridge where I could store snacks. There was a 7-eleven like 1 minute away from the hotel, as well as a Lawson and a Family Mart close by. Overall, the hotel was lovely and clean and the service was great. I recommend!

First, I highly recommend this hotel. I usually stay at its sister hotel across the street, but it’s closed for a few months for renovation. It’s my favorite in Tokyo, but this hotel is tops as well. A bit more upscale. Having the lobby on the fifth floor adds two additional elevator rides each time. The staff is magnificent to a fault. Must be the Richmond Hotel chain’s excellent policies and training. The room was typical Tokyo small, but so what? My only nit was no bedside table or nightstand. I just pulled the desk’s chair to the side of the bed. The location is one of the best in Tokyo, surpassed only by its sister across the street.

This hotel is in a fantastic location—just a short walk from the train station, making it super convenient for getting around. There are multiple 7-Eleven stores nearby for quick snacks or essentials, and right next door is a massive Don Quijote souvenir store that's open 24/7—perfect for late-night shopping. Getting here from Haneda Airport is super easy, especially from Terminal 3. The express train takes you directly to Asakusa station quickly and comfortably, even with luggage.||The area is packed with great restaurants, offering plenty of dining options. On top of all that, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and convenience!||One helpful tip—don’t get confused when you arrive. There’s another hotel with almost the same name right across the street, but that one doesn't say "Premier" in the name. Make sure you're checking into the Premier location.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Asakusa! We had a very pleasant stay at Richmonde Premier Hotel Asakusa during our recent trip to Tokyo. The location is incredibly convenient—just a 2-3 minute walk to Don Quijote Asakusa, very close to the iconic Senso-ji Temple, and surrounded by plenty of local restaurants. Plus, there's a UNIQLO store right on the first floor, which made shopping super easy and fun!One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary welcome drinks offered by the hotel—coffee, juices, and even beers were available, which was a very thoughtful touch after a long day of travel. The hotel was clean, stylish, and provided a relaxing ambiance. It's also easily accessible to transportation, making it a perfect base to explore Tokyo.Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a bit of local charm!

The hotel is few steps away from Sensoji Temple, with easy access to Nakamise Street, dining and shopping options, and 400m walk to Asakusa station. There is a large Uniqlo in the same building and Don Quijote next door, multiple souvenir shopping, plus Lawson and Family Mart around. Breakfast menu is good with few vegetarian options (breads, hash browns, cornflakes/ muesli etc) and large Western and Japanese spread . Free coffee available through the day. We had a Triple room which was pleasantly spacious with great views of the Tokyo Skytree and Sensoji. Quite a few attractions and dining spots nearby. Helpful and pleasant staff and service. Would love to stay again.

I stayed at this beautiful hotel for more than a week and felt comfortable every single day. Not only the reception team but the entire staff were kind and efficient. The hotel is in a great location, very well connected, and there’s plenty to see and do nearby. I highly recommend this hotel, the rooms are amazing, the views are incredible, and the staff are truly professional.

Yelp
We stayed at the Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International for our five night visit to Tokyo. The location is prime, as it's close to Senso-ji Temple, across the street from a huge Don Quijote, near the Asakusa station, and accessible by the limousine bus from Narita airport. We paid $120USD/night through hotels.com. Check in was easy and the employees spoke perfect English. Check out was even easier, through an automated kiosk in the lobby. The hotels in Japan all provide amenities that we are not accustomed to in the US, which was really fun. We got pajamas and slippers, and I really enjoyed the full bathtub for soaking after our long days of exploring. We also had a standard sized mini fridge in our room. In the lobby, they have an amenities bar where you can get toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, combs/brushes, razors, shaving cream, hair ties, bath salts, wash cloths, and more. The rooms are definitely "cozy" and I have no idea how you'd manage with full-sized luggages. For two adults with two carry on suitcases and two backpacks, it took us a bit to arrange ourselves and our stuff in the standard double room. The hotels.com listing indicates this room can sleep 3 people, but at 194 square feet I don't know how that works. Since we travel light, it wasn't a big deal, but pay attention to room sizes! We had a great view of Tokyo Skytree from the elevator area on the 9th floor, which made for some awesome photos both during the day and at night. The hotel is in the same building as a Uniqlo as well as a few restaurants. (We tried the conveyor belt sushi spot - it was the worst food we ate in Tokyo! But fun to try, and cheap.) They offer a breakfast buffet, which we also tried one day. It was okay and they had plenty of options, but we preferred other food outside of the hotel for breakfast. Overall the value for this hotel was good and I was happy with this choice for our stay.

Yelp
A very well-organized and enjoyable property. The room i was assigned faces east and affords a good view of the Senso-Ji temple grounds and the Tokyo Skytree. Good sun rise view. The room itself was very functional and large enough for me to stay well-organized. The breakfast room is very large and staffed by a large group of servers and chefs. They keep the place spotless and running very well. The variety of food is excellent and the quality is all very good. The Asakusa Station on the Ginza line is close so it is possible to get going in any direction with a minimum of trouble. And of course there is plenty to do here in the Asakusa neighborhood.

Yelp
This hotel is across Donki in Asakusa. There is a Uniqlo in the same building as the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located close to a limousine bus stop which is a stone throw to Asakusa view hotel.

Yelp
Came here w/my big family. I know Japan is known for their "cozy" spaces but god damn these rooms were tiny as. We had mentioned there would be 3-4 per room and we got a twin/bed I was like WTF are we supposed to sleep on each other? My husband, myself, my 12month old and my 10 year old had to share a twin. Still boggles my mind how we actually fit but we survived lol Great thing about this location and reason for my rating is because of RATE, LOCATION and AMENITIES. It was around $100 a night per room, location is right next to Sensoji Temple and Tokyo Skytree and they give you lots of hotel treats to pamper yourself while you stay there. There are all the vendors not far and you can shop and eat to your hearts content. I'd stay here again if it's just me and my husband. This place is not for big families unless you get more rooms.

Yelp
My husband and I recently spent two weeks in Japan and stayed at the Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International for three nights before heading home. Please be aware that there are two Richmond Hotels across the street from each other. One is simply called The Richmond Hotel, and the one we stayed at is The Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International. The lobby is on the 5th floor of the building. This is a great location. You're literally just a few minutes from the Senso-Ji Shrine which means you can avoid the overwhelming mobs of tourists in the middle of the day and see it early in the morning or late in the evening. There's a five story Don Quixote souvenir shop right around the corner, Hoppy Dori (AKA "Beer Street") is right outside the main entrance to the hotel, and you're a short walk from the banks of the Sumidagawa river and the iconic views of the Asahi Breweries buildings. There are also several metro stops nearby. The room we had was comfortable and clean. It wasn't anything particularly fancy and that's OK. We didn't spend much time there. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard with both Western and traditional Japanese options. Check-in and check-out was easy and most of the staff spoke some English. Recommended!

Yelp
Like all big cities, this hotel provide a competitive room size for the price. Service is excellent. Location, location, location. Restaurants, attractions, transportation are all here. We enjoyed our stay here. I only rank 5 stars, when I visit multiple times and compare to other local competitors. Definitely, base on my first stay here and compare to others, this place is an excellent choice.

Yelp
Brand new hotel in the Asakusa neighborhood. Rooms are very small, but since everything is so new, not uncomfortable. Beds were very good quality. They give you free bottled water, which we found quite helpful. There are two free (non-alcoholic) welcoming beverages on the day you arrive. They spoke decent English at the counter, and the room amenities were plentiful! We were bewildered by the strange coffee maker in the room (instructions only in Japanese) but there was very good McCafe at a nearby McDonald's for only 100 yen (94 cents). At the current "introductory" pricing (under $200 US per night) I'd stay here again.

Yelp
Amazing location we stayed at this location, as well as the oshiga location and I, prefer this one. The rooms were very clean but small(its japan) so I wasn't expecting anything different.

Yelp
Excellent 4-day stay at the Richmond Premier Asakusa International. Brand new construction, very clean and orderly inside. Staff is excellent and enthusiastic and most speak great english. Great breakfast, centrally located near Sensoji Temple and the Asakusa shopping district. Restaurants and bars around every corner and lining every street. A 7/11 right up the street and a giant 24/7 Don Quijote a few steps away. Easy access to Tokyo Skytree and multiple subway lines, very reasonable price (~$110/night in April 2018). Housekeeping was efficient and thorough, most floors have on-site laundry. I loved Asakusa and this was a great home base during my stay. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.
