Richmond Hotel

Very nice service and staff! They are very kind!!! Love the breakfast so much, so many options with good quality. They also have a free-refill drinking bar closed at 12am, and huge thanks to the receptionist who helped us very warmly! PS: I just don’t like the wall of the room and it would be perfect if they have onsen as well.

Best hotel during my trip to Yamagata. The location is superb, just across the Yamagata train station. The room is spacious and very clean. It even has a massage chair and a big TV. The view across is really nice, too. The service staff are all so friendly. The hotel check-in and check out time is generous. Check in at 2 pm and out at 11 am.

The room is big and comfortable but the equipment of the bathroom is a bit old. Amenities are offered in the lobby, however maybe it’s free to get, all masks and bath salt are taken away soon. The breakfast is quit good.

We are staying at this hotel, and then when we got to our room we instantly saw lots of hair across the room. Some on the bed, and some on the bathroom. The toilet also smelled like someone has just pooped on it without flushing. And we thought that this hotel would be in a new-vibe, but it looks very outdated and old. Although everything else is great, especially the food it was very yummy! But also one thing the location i dont like its like on the edge of a street, so ya. Anyways i recommend not to stay though…

The location of the hotel is very good, next to JR, 7-11 and a supermarket. If you are driving, there are plenty of parking space (with charge). The hotel provided free drinks and ice cream in the lounge. The bed and pillows are comfortable.

Perfect location, good price, you can actually cast to the TV, bigger than usual for a single room. Has a comfortable desk and extra chair as well which is great for people like me with bad backs. Service was very good as well.

Staff is very friendly and professional. Rooms are cool, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. While I did not try the breakfast, many others staying there raved about it. No workout facility though I think that is common in Japan.
