Richmond Istanbul

My sister and I stayed at Richmond for my birthday holidays. The location of the hotel is perfect for the first time visitors who want to explore city. Its walking distance from Galata tower and Galata port, even though street gets busy they have double windows for the voice cancellation. Even though its a bit disturbing not to be able to open a window you will get a good night sleep with no noice bothering you. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Shower has a good hot water . The breakfast is amazing for cheese lovers, great selection of cheese and eggs. I want to emphasize how amazing the stuff is, they helped me with the luggage and to order Taxi. Biggest shout out to Julide from Guest Relations who is an amazing woman, she brought me a cake and sang happy birthday along with the stuff and made my day . The cake was to die for. So if you want a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a solid breakfast and clean environment definitely go to Richmond. Julide will help with everything! Shes a true gem ! 🤩

We recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention goes to Mrs. Jūlida, the Guest Relations Executive Manager, who was exceptionally welcoming and always had a warm smile. Her hospitality truly made ours stay memorable. Additionally, the breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. The room was a good size and very clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment for ours stay.

My birthday was during my stay at the hotel and I was alone, my family still had few days to come to Istanbul. I was out and when I came back to the hotel they surprised me with a cake on my birthday! I didn’t expect it at all. I was so happy of what they did, they really made my day.. It was such a lovely gesture that made me feel like they are my second family. They celebrated me and took photos of me and that made me truly delighted. Many many thanks to Mr. Serkan (reception) and Mr. Serkan (F/B) for that amazing surprise and making me feel special. ||I would also like to give a very big thank you to Mr. Necati for his help with the reservation. He was so kind and cooperative in giving the best price to extend our stay. Our sincerest gratitude to him.||Many thanks are due to other receptionists and staff for making us feel so welcomed and looked after. They greet us with wide smiles and always wait for us to say hi and make sure everything is okay. My experience at Richmond Istanbul was outstanding mainly because of the people working there. Serkar at the reception made me feel very welcomed with his kindness and professionalism. The guest relations team was also wonderful, always attentive and caring. Even the staff inside the hotel were so helpful and respectful. Honestly, what I loved most about this hotel is not just the building or location, but the amazing hospitality of its staff. They truly made my stay unforgettable

My brother and I spent five nights at this wonderful hotel and we loved everything about it. Perfect location in terms of a great neighborhood and easy access to the metro to the airport. The breakfast buffet was consistently expansive with new options daily. Very nice rooms and they even gave us an upgrade for free. The gym is open all day and has pretty much everything you need.I would definitely come back the next time I return to Istanbul. Highly recommend!

Had such an amazing experience here. The staffs are very friendly and management goes above and beyond for their guests here. Location is prime and the rooms are beautiful. Most beautiful suites I’ve seen in any hotel. I’m surprise they’re not a 5 star hotel. The white suite is so beautiful and breathtaking. Had a little issue with a bathroom leak and the hotel not only fix the issue but offered me a discount for my inconvenience. One time I went out alone and didn’t come back to the hotel and this hotel made sure they called and checked on me, seeing if I was fine. I was so surprised by their hospitality, it felt like I was staying at a new family members house. The comfort I felt I’ve never felt like that in any hotel. The bellboy I forgot his name was my favorite as he would wait for me every morning to walk me to grab a taxi. ( Berat) I think was his name. Nice and friendly kid.

I recently stayed at the Richmond Hotel in Istanbul and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel’s location is excellent—right on the Istiklyl street heart, making it easy to explore major attractions, restaurants, and shops on foot. One of the highlights of our stay was the room with a stunning Bosphorus view. Waking up to such a beautiful scene each morning really added something special to the trip. The service stood out the most during my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Although the hotel has stairs, the staff kindly assisted with luggage, which made arrival and departure much smoother. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a good variety of options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared, providing a great start to the day. The only downside was that the lobby area was under construction during my visit. While it didn’t significantly impact my stay, it’s worth noting for anyone planning to visit in the near future. All in all, Richmond Hotel offers great value, excellent service, and a prime location in Istanbul.

This hotel was lovely! Complementary buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Room service was always detailed, clean, and respectful of your things. The location is also very central. 10/10 would recommend. Beware that the street is pedestrian only, so you’ll have to walk with your luggage about 200-250 metres the first time you get there. However, still a wonderful place to stay.

I'd heard rave reviews about this hotel from my friends in Istanbul, and I thought I would stay here for my final night. In terms of location, you can't beat this place. Smack dab in the most happening part of Istanbul, Istiklal street, this place is key to check out best parts. It's on a street that's walking only, so be prepared to lug your stuff around for a bit, depending on where your cab drops you off. It's also super close to the Metro station (Sishane or Sisli, cant remember exaclty) Though in terms of food, the breakfast was okay. Typical turkish fare. No room service menu though. The room itself I got on mad discount from Booking, so maybe this wasnt the best room to judge, but it was small and the bed wasn't the greatest. Also, the shower didn't have any seperation from the rest of the washroom, which resulted in my biggest pet peeve : wet washroom floors. All in all thought, in terms of the location, and the price I paid, I think I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice staff and helpful front desk. Clean hotel. However do not use the tours they offer . It's cheaper and better to get a taxi and go see they areas. Overall never coming back to Istanbul.
