Richmond Istanbul

our experience was extremely beautiful from the hotel's location, service & everything! the room was spacious & comfortable & the breakfast was delicious! Ipek was really helpful & friendly as the guest relations! she helped us a lot with places & locations with a smile on her face! definitely it's a must visit again!

We were stuck in Istanbul for four days (because #$&% Turkish Airways) and we decided to make the best of it. We took a chance and booked a couple of rooms at the Richmond Istanbul via Expedia just to have a decent place to sleep, and we got so much more than we expected. The rooms are really nice. They're clean, well-laid out, and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is ideal, with dozens and dozens of coffee joints, shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk; This hotel really is in the best location in the new city. The staff is incredible. They provided great housekeeping, laundry service, and arranged our airport transfers. But the real surprise was on our kid's birthday, when the staff surprised him after dinner with a (really delicious, high-quality!) birthday cake. We didn't mention his birthday; They must have noticed it from his passport. Our kid wasn't thrilled about being stuck away from home on his birthday and this incredibly thoughtful gesture really brightened his day. If/when we make it back to Istanbul, this is the only place we would consider staying. The hotel and the staff are truly outstanding.

The location of the hotel is brilliant. Its bang on the Istiklal street. The rooms are spacious but not cleaned properly. Like for instance, we found a few food wrappers under the bed. The side tables were dusty, etc. The breakfast buffet was average.

We constantly stay at this hotel every time we come to Istanbul. It is in an amazing location and very accessible to necessities and landmarks. The hotel has breakfast included which has a variety of selections for everyone. The hotel is very clean and you can ask for additional amenities which they provide. The staff were amazing and always helped with our needs. We had received amazing service from Osman, Yunus Emre, Mert and Serkan. All staff members have a strong level of English making the communication barrier seamless. The Customer Representative İpek was very helpful with all our transitions and made our stay even better. There’s always securities around and police officers leaving us at ease and making us feel safe at all costs.

Amazing location, high quality and great staff. The breakfast was quite good as well. Having our reservation upgraded was an extra treat 🥰 Always waking up to the sun rise made our days perfect.

Nice hotel good location and modern rooms. It is clean. Breakfast is poor and doesn’t change at all. The bar was nice with good drinks but they close very early. Staff were not the most approachable so didn’t always feel the most on ease. It was an okay hotel

Richmond hotel was one of the beat experience i had in istanbul! The service was wonderful and the variety of food in the breakfast was good! Staff are so friendly and helpful Ipek helped us so muchh on where to go in destinations

The rooms were clean and service was always on time, the only issue i had was the TV was a bit outdated with old channels and specifically just mainly turkish. Breakfast had different variety and location of the hotel was exquisite. Reception were extremely kind and helpful, please speak to Engin to make your visit easier and smoother.

I'd heard rave reviews about this hotel from my friends in Istanbul, and I thought I would stay here for my final night. In terms of location, you can't beat this place. Smack dab in the most happening part of Istanbul, Istiklal street, this place is key to check out best parts. It's on a street that's walking only, so be prepared to lug your stuff around for a bit, depending on where your cab drops you off. It's also super close to the Metro station (Sishane or Sisli, cant remember exaclty) Though in terms of food, the breakfast was okay. Typical turkish fare. No room service menu though. The room itself I got on mad discount from Booking, so maybe this wasnt the best room to judge, but it was small and the bed wasn't the greatest. Also, the shower didn't have any seperation from the rest of the washroom, which resulted in my biggest pet peeve : wet washroom floors. All in all thought, in terms of the location, and the price I paid, I think I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice staff and helpful front desk. Clean hotel. However do not use the tours they offer . It's cheaper and better to get a taxi and go see they areas. Overall never coming back to Istanbul.
