The service was a 10/10. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was great. ||When choosing a room above standard level rooms they are gorgeous with some of the best views of the city and Golden Horn with stunning views of Asia side. ||I also can confirm the breakfast is quite delicious as others mentioned. A nice representation of Turkish breakfast. I was happy with the variety and selection.

I had a wonderful stay at Richmond Istanbul Hotel and would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their outstanding hospitality. From the very first moment, the welcome was warm and genuine, with smiling faces everywhere and a team that truly cares about guest comfort. I was especially grateful for the room upgrade, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The service throughout was excellent, professional, and attentive. My special thanks go to the General Manager, Mr. Najati, for his leadership and personal touch, and to Mr. Mert and his colleagues at the reception, who were incredibly helpful, kind, and supportive at all times. Richmond Istanbul truly knows how to make guests feel valued. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Istanbul.

Cannot recommend the Richmond Istanbul Hotel enough!! Rooms were beautiful and SUPER clean. Location was perfect - right on Istiklal street, few minute walk to Galata bridge, and easily accessible to all public transit. What really made our stay special however was the unbelievably kind people who work there! This was our last stop after a 3 month stint in Europe so we had 4 large suitcases and a carry on😭 when we arrived we didn't carry a single bag bc they insisted on transporting them from the front door to our room for us, which we were SO grateful for after a long travel day. When we were leaving, they communicated with our external airport transfer so that the driver knew exactly where to go, then alerted us when the driver had arrived and again transported all of our baggage down to the car so that we didn't have any stress. I seriously cannot thank them enough for their hospitality!!

The hotel location is amazing—right in the heart of Istiklal Street, perfectly connected and surrounded by everything you might need just a few meters away. The rooms can vary slightly from the photos; in our case, after mentioning that the room looked a bit different than expected from the booking site, the staff handled the situation very kindly and professionally, which we truly appreciated.Thank you Julia (guest relations manager ❤️). It was also my birthday during the stay, and I had just undergone nose surgery. The team was incredibly attentive and thoughtful—helping with ice packs and even surprising me with a cake and small drinks . These small gestures made a big difference and truly showed how much they care about their guests. Will definitely come back again and recommend it already to other friends traveling to Istanbul.

A hotel located in the heart of Taksim, with direct access to Istiklal Street. The rooms were of a very good standard and the service was excellent. Breakfast was perfect, with small variations every day. The staff were very polite, kind, and professional. I sincerely recommend this hotel

Just arrived to the hotel, they knew we are on our honeymoon and my birthday , they said they prepared something for us. still didn’t see the rooms but the treatment was really wow from all the staff and they gave us tea and welcomed us, especially jalida. Recommend it to everyone before even looking at the room. The location and service is really good

The hotel's location is very nice and the staff is very polite and hardworking. The intern, Mr. Berat, helped us with check-in and check-out. He called a taxi for us on the way to our new hotel and helped us with our luggage. It would have been better if the breakfast room was on the upper floors, but there was a lot of variety at breakfast and the waiters helped with everything. Thanks to the hotel management for training such great staff.

I'd heard rave reviews about this hotel from my friends in Istanbul, and I thought I would stay here for my final night. In terms of location, you can't beat this place. Smack dab in the most happening part of Istanbul, Istiklal street, this place is key to check out best parts. It's on a street that's walking only, so be prepared to lug your stuff around for a bit, depending on where your cab drops you off. It's also super close to the Metro station (Sishane or Sisli, cant remember exaclty) Though in terms of food, the breakfast was okay. Typical turkish fare. No room service menu though. The room itself I got on mad discount from Booking, so maybe this wasnt the best room to judge, but it was small and the bed wasn't the greatest. Also, the shower didn't have any seperation from the rest of the washroom, which resulted in my biggest pet peeve : wet washroom floors. All in all thought, in terms of the location, and the price I paid, I think I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice staff and helpful front desk. Clean hotel. However do not use the tours they offer . It's cheaper and better to get a taxi and go see they areas. Overall never coming back to Istanbul.
