Rich's Burgers-N-Grub

Ordered at the counter. Greeted as soon as we walked in. Ordered the appetizer of queso fries, these were amazing!! Steak fries and lots of queso so that the whole basket of fries were covered in ooey, gooey cheese with pepper and tomatoes? Meal was a green chili burger, med cooked burger, with a ton of green chilies, this has a tender fresh made bun, with a lemon aioli with LTP- awesome burger, Guacamole burger, med cooked, fresh made guacamole with little tortilla strips and lemon aioli, LTP. Both burgers were cooked in our opinion perfectly, a tender bun, the fixings of your choice, that lemon aioli was a great acid compliment to both burgers. Top this off with great customer service and local business. A win, win. A place we plan to visit again.

BEST burgers and wings you can get! Service is super friendly to. It's a perfect stop when I take the family to the galavan center. It's in walking distance, and its always fun to walk around a bit when your downtown. The kids think its super cool, and I also really enjoy the atmosphere. Good times for sure!! I've even had cravings for these burgers and if I end up somewhere else thinking maybe it will be similar, nope they never compare, they are to good! Thanks for having great food and great people!

Best burger place around! It offers a cool, retro atmosphere in a bustling part of the city. The customer service is unmatched! I felt welcomed and well taken care of the whole time. Gotta remember to wear looser pants next time to make room for all the delicious food options. Highly recommend the Mac n cheese burger and the fried green beans!

Had the Peanut Butter Burger. So good. High quality good tasting food. Our group had a lot of different burgers and all of them raved about them. We had the pastrami burger, Texas bbq burger, peanut butter burger, guacamole burger , Mac and cheese burger , and Green Chile burger. Like I mentioned everyone had nothing but good to say about what they ordered. Highly recommend!

I went to this place after it was recommended to me by my mechanic. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile and hello from the GM, Cassie. Since it was our first time visiting, we weren’t sure what to order. Cassie quickly stepped in with recommendations and shared how much she enjoys some of the burgers. When I ordered the pastrami and asked for no cheese, I expected that to be the end of it. Instead, she asked if I’d like to substitute the cheese with something else. That small gesture really set this place apart for me. Our food came out in about 10 minutes. Cassie personally brought it to our table and explained the sauces and how to best enjoy the meal. I ordered the pastrami, and my partner got the Caprese on the Beyond patty. I tried both, and they were honestly some of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. Not only was the service outstanding, but the food was just as impressive. I will definitely be coming back.

Best chicken sandy I’ve ever had. Got fried Maui bbq with onion rings. Onion rings have amazing crisp to them! I heard the lady at the table next to me say hers looked too pretty to eat. Ha. Tip these peeps fat. $

Friendliness the moment we walked in the door. We love that kind of service and vibe. It's like a small town Midwest burger spot somehow found its way to the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. And so worth the journey. The burgers were messy, glorious monuments to what burgers should be. Absolutely fantastic. I had the Maui BBQ burger and, per the server's recommendation, added grilled green chilies. Wow! My wife had some kind of burger with mushrooms, which she also thoroughly enjoyed. It's a simple place: cute, cozy, and all about phenomenal burgers served up with friendliness. Instant favorite.

Great food. High quality, cooked to perfection. Seasoned well. I didn't get a salt hangover after eating there. Stubborn soda was the best. It was so good, I went back later in the day to get another meal for my daughter. Service was great. The two ladies working were very helpful and cordial. I liked the vibe of the place, the humourous signs on the wall and the guitars. Sticker shock was real. $46 monies for two people to eat lunch.

Why? Really disappointed with Rich's today. You can see by my previous reviews that I really like their Buffalo Blue Cheeseburger. Well today I ordered it and they changed the buffalo sauce to something else. It didn't even have the buffalo flavor or kick. The guy cooking them said they were trying a new recipe. Why? Go back to what got you there. This used to be my favorite burger of all time, but now it's a 3 star burger. Please change it back!

Wow. What a gem of a place ! The restaurant itself is small and quaint, with the decor reminding me of a dive bar and classic burger place. The employees were so bubbly...even at 9pm ! I truly have never felt such an energy from staff at an establishment, they were so wonderful. We got a basket of half n half - onion rings and garlic fries. It came out HOT ! Fresh out of the fryer with sauces ready and in a basket to share. The fries were flavorful, evenly seasoned and consistent in size and shape. The onion rings were perfectly crunchy with the softer contrast on the inside. We really enjoyed our small meal and we hope to revisit again soon to try those burgers !

We were looking for a quick bite. Luckily we found Rich's. Service was excellent and burgers was awesome. I had the pastrami burger with the egg. One of the best burger I ever had.

The service was absolutely fantastic, the two staff members in there absolutely crushed a packed restaurant, and with smiles and politeness. AND one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. 10/10 would go again and probably soon.

Came here with the whole family. Everything was amazing. The garlic fries and burgers were a hit. Even the cane sugar sodas were delicious!! The chef came out and said hi to our group it was just great food and great people.

My husband and I came to Rich's Burger on Saturday evening around 9 PM and ordered two burgers and two fries. We sat outside and received only our burgers. A staff member told us the fries would be brought out shortly. After waiting, I went to check on them and refill my drink, only to find the doors locked--even though the restaurant is open until 10 PM. We were the only customer dining outside were completely locked out, while other customers were still seated inside. What happened next was completely unacceptable. A *random customer--not an employee--brought our fries out and immediately began verbally harassing me. He called me vulgar names, including saying "Here's your fries, c" (yes, that word), and threatened to hit me multiple times. I was shocked. How is it okay for someone who doesn't even work there to be handling food and aggressively threatening a female customer, while staff did nothing to intervene? Or serve the food themselves to us as customers? The employees allowed this behavior to happen and never stepped in or addressed it. This wasn't just poor service--it was a complete failure in customer safety. I hope Rich's burger staff seriously re-evaluates how they handle incidents like this and never allow another customer to be the one serving food to another customer instead of the employees themselves.

This is some freaking good food. We didn't go too crazy with novelty burgers. My husband got a regular cheeseburger and I got caramelized onions (which were sooo good) and provolone. Our meals were PHENOMENAL. Literally piping hot, I almost burned my hand on a French fry getting too greedy but it was worth the wait for them to cool off. Everything from the fries to the buns and of course the burgers were amazing. It's also fun that they have a unqiue mix of fountain sodas. Also wanted to mention the two ladies working there were so amazing. They helped talk me through what to order and gave great suggestions, and were generally so friendly and kind. Great vibes in there.

This place is insanely delicious!!! I was so craving a really good burger (surprisingly hard to find these days) Cassie nailed it, this cheeseburger with sharp cheddar, was pure perfection. Blue cheese fries on the side, amazing. The patio is a nice touch if downtown. Great service. They even have hand dipped shakes! I'll be returning very soon, so good.

Local mainstay for great burgers. Love their menu... when they aren't out of ingredients. Hopefully they can stay on top of their supply and meet demand with quality and consistency. Still worth a try!

If I could give 0 stars I would... stopped here with my mom to grab a quick bite, it was anything but quick! There was one table in the whole place and our order (1 burger and fries) took over 30 min. There was a family who came in 15 mins after us and got their food before us. Not to mention extremely overpriced. $5 for literally 10 underdone cold fries? Skip this place!!!!

Our first time eating inside the restaurant. The counter employees are very friendly and enthusiastic. It was a pleasure eating here after a busy morning Christmas shopping.

Visiting from New Jersey. This place got rave reviews so I stopped in. The Burger was excellent! The fries were cooked to perfection. Dan layed out all the popular options for me. Customer service was A++. The restarunt has an old time feel with lots of nostalgic containers, metal signs and the like. I was very happy to have the opportunity to stop in here!

I've been here a handful of times and riches has never disappointed. In my last two meals, I got hand dipped milkshakes absolutely divine. this time I got the chocolate cherry - yum. My go to is the green Chile burger. Service is very nice. The people here are very kind and down to earth. What I learned recently about this place is that they only serve natural beef that is free of antibiotics or growth hormones. They have further inscription on their napkins, but thought it was very cool. I appreciate that the patio is dog friendly .

This place was highly recommended but I felt it was pretty mid. If this is one of the best burger spots in the city, then SLC doesn't have a very good burger scene. The fries were just ok but the fried green beans were a lot better and worth getting. The people were really nice though and service was good.

Went here on a Sunday which was a mistake. The wait time was horrible. My daughter was waiting for over one hour. I told her, "I think they forgot your order". Sure enough, after begging her to check, they forgot her order. Not good since it was chilly and cold outside with the wind. After finally getting my Provolone and Mushroom burger I noticed they forgot my sweet potato fries. Had to wait for those now too. Now let's talk about the quality of the burger. My burger was so well done they could have renamed it "The Crunchy Burger". Seriously, it was very crispy and well done. Not my idea of a quality burger. There are a lot of burger joints in SLC, but this one I will refrain from visiting. I work hard for my money and for $12 freakin' dollars, it better be cooked right!

Okay, seriously, what a delicious hamburger! It was a legit burger, tasted fresh and close to home made. They make the burger after you order it (no premade patties sitting under a warmer). The staff was really friendly too. Well worth a stop!

I gotta tell you about this spot that has home cookin'. If you're looking for premium American burgers then you've found it. The staff are super friendly. They made the recommendation of getting the garlic parmesan fries. I ordered the green chiles burger. Juicy patty cooked perfectly with gooey Monterey jack cheese on top. The green chiles were freshly prepared and just spicy enough. The burger had warm buns that melts in your mouth. Perfect amount of mayonnaise. The side of mac n cheese in my picture didn't do it justice. It was made with butter. Butter baby! The garlic parmesan fries had a healthy dose of parmesan with fresh garlic cloves. This place is unusual for a burger joint because everything is so fresh!

Food was delicious! Ordered a Bacon Burger and Blue Cheese Bacon Burger with fries extra crispy. We sat outside and were checked on. They even brought my dog water. Will be returning.

Wow! Absolutely delicious burger!! Grass fed beef cooked on a flat top so they get that nice crispy edge to them. Lots of choices to choose from (see menu photo). I had the peanut butter burger (I know, weird) and it blew my mind with how tasty it was!! Highly recommend if you want to try something new and enlightening. And idk where they get these fries from but they were also really great. It is a cozy small spot so be mindful of that. The service was great, very helpful and friendly staff. If you're in town and looking for an awesome burger, this is the spot.

This is where you get a great burger in Salt Lake City. Delicious garlic burger and the fries are tasty. At times it is very hot and uncomfortable in the dining area. Better ventilation would be nice back by the restrooms.

Rich's is located on Broadway and if you can't find street parking, there are paid parking garages north and south of the building. The dining area may look small, but service is quick so tables turn pretty fast. They do a great job at clearing the tables quick too. We got the Maui bbq and the peanut butter burgers with a side of house fries. They put the toppings on the side so you can decide how much lettuce and tomatoes you want. The Maui bbq was very juicy and the pineapple was perfectly grilled and sweet. The peanut butter had bacon which was a nice blend of savory and sweet. You can add other toppings to any burger. I would definitely put sautéed onions on the peanut butter burger next time. The house fries were a great addition and you get a decent amount even for being a side. Their soda flavors are interesting. I got the orange hibiscus and it was different but still refreshing. We can't wait to go back and try their other burgers!

In the mood for a burger and looking for something different than your "ho-hum" fast food burger. Stopped in at Rich's and it was exactly what I was looking for. Vast menu with many choices. I opted for the Maui BBQ, rounded it out with fries and a soda. The service was fast and very friendly with a smile. Highly recommended

We were looking for a new place to get a tasty burger and decided to give Rich's Burgers N Grub a try after seeing great reviews. We took the family and found just what we were looking for! The staff was super friendly and very helpful with menu recommendations. They even offered to modify items if needed. We ordered the pastrami burger, the mac-n-cheese burger, the green chile burger and a fried chicken sandwich. Everything we ordered was super tasty! The portions were just right and all of the ingredients were top quality. The unexpected combinations of toppings for each burger went really well together. Shout out to Damon - he cooks some really great food! We enjoyed the atmosphere and music - it's a casual, laid-back vibe. Nothing pretentious, just a great burger in a cool place. We thought they were the best burgers we've had in a long time, and overheard other customers saying the same thing. We'll definitely be back and we highly recommend it!

Rich's burgers-n-grub. Down town SLC. We liked this restaurant, the burgers were good, the patty was nicely seared. Not super flavorful on its own but it was made up in the full bite of the burger. The bun was great quality, toppings fresh. A tad oily but what can you expect from a bacon cheese burger The two sides we got were the best bites. The garlic parm fries had whole roasted garlic on them, perfectly crispy. We added more salt The Mac and cheese was by far our favorite bite. Seared on the flat top it got so much flavor. Creamy and crispy. Also just missing a touch of salt, but salt shakers were provided on the tables so it wasn't a problem! Two burgers with the two sides and 1 drink was around $45.00 We will go back

Rich's Burgers-N-Grub is a really good restaurant. They have a bunch of fun and unique burger options on their menu. A person in our group got the burger with mac and cheese on top and said it was great. I got the burger with queso and it was delicious. Please note you need to get a key to use their restroom.

Food is my Love Language Believe it or not, I am a huge burger, fries, and shake girl I love being able to sink my teeth in layers of bread, lettuce and tomatoes, all sauced up into a juicy piece of meat. Being Hindu, I don't eat beef or pork, so chicken sandwiches are a sanctity of my house. Growing up, we didn't have much, but my mom made killer chicken sandwiches. It was only made with two slices of bread, a chicken patty, one slice of cheese (sometimes two!), and a whole lot of love. Still to this day, whenever I have a chicken sandwich, I always think of her . It's funny how food will bring us back to some of the core memories of childhood. This burger joint is one of the best and it's Guacamole Burger has won best taste award for 7 years running. The owner, Rich, is the most eccentric human being you will ever met and you'll wonder walking away how he was able to charm you into a good mood. His heart is as big as they come Entrées: - Guacamole Burger (this was SO much fun to eat! Eating this burger is truly an experience because it's deconstructed. It's messy, gets all over your hands, and that is just part of it's delicious factor!) - Basket of Fries (Don't even get me started on the Fry Sauce ) - Basket of Green Beans (Full disclosure, I do not like green beans, but holy cow did this blow my mind!) - Chocolate Milkshake (not pictured, just goes to show how incredible it was. I finished it before I could even click a pic ) I only removed one star because the space is very small, otherwise amazing food!

Solid 4 for Rich's. Gave this place a try based on Yelp reviews. The food was tasty but the menu a little confusing. The downside to me was certainly the price. I get that it's downtown Salt Lake, but man, the burger is one price and everything is an add on and i feel overly pricey. Wanna add an egg? $3. Sweet Potato fries? $6. I also highly doubt the patties are 8oz as advertised. They're smashed, skinny and I feel the quantity does not match the price point. From a flavor perspective however, it was really great! Also, seating is limited and if you sit outside like we did, be prepared to deal with the many homeless people as they pass by.

Holy! For four people we spent $80 on one order of BBQ wings (no side), one garlic burger, two guacamole burgers, half n half (garlic parm fries and onion rings), and two drinks. Burgers were still pink and onion rings were beyond greasy! $3 for each topping. Won't be back.

Me and my family of 8 went here because everything else was closed. Good things: Phenomenal burgers, they had a lot of variety, and awesome fries. Bad stuff: there were flies EVERYWHERE, chicken wings stinked like crazy, not a very big space; we had to sit all at different tables. Other: the service was nothing special. The manager came to check up on us 2 times but that was only because we were the only ones there.

This place was great. Stopped in on the way out of town. Order at the counter and everything fresh and hot! Had the provolone and mushroom it was delicious and very juicy! Garlic and Parm fries to share. The cook working was so nice and talked to us to make sure everything was great and thanked us on the way out. He needs a bonus !

Solid burger spot. Ordered delivery from door dash so I can't speak to the ambiance or the service but the food was good! We had the bacon cheeseburger one with home fries and one with Mac n cheese. Would be interested to try what else they've got!
