Nice historic ship with a museum and a restaurant. Has several floors and you can see two types of ancient ship engines in the engine room. Kids should love this place.

Great example of a tall ship with lots of personality and history. There’s a small gift shop where you purchase a ticket for admission. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Very well done presentations. Restaurant for snacks and maybe a meal. Depending on your level of interest count on one to three hours here.

If you have an hour to kill, this is a great exhibition that takes you on a metaphorical journey onboard this historic boat. You can walk around the boat and access its various compartments and rooms, getting a glimpse of how life on the ship had been from the late 1890s till the 1950s. It’s a nicely done exhibition - recommended.

Great boat with a lot of history. You can do the museum and gift shop in an hour easily. We enjoyed our time and even found out that you can climb up the mast on certain days!

Ok the food was surprisingly fantastic. The service and staff were extremely courteous and professional. Well timed with the cadence of food, drinks and service. The space itself is funky and it's almost like a discovery when you finally find it. A two minute walk from the S/U Bahn as well. Go, enjoy!

Really great experience. With the Hamburg Card it costs only 4,20€ (normal price 5€) and you can see an accurate story about the ship and how it turned to be a museum. Absolutely worth taking a look and do the tour by yourself while reading and watching about the story. Beautiful! - and the view from above is stunning.

We went here on a busy hot sunny day last week. We would have walked right past it, but my 8 year old daughter saw it and was capitivated. So we paid for a family ticket expecting to just walk up and down the deck, go to the loo then get off. How wrong! The ship is brimming with interesting things about itself, the original merchants who commissioned her, how the crew lived, lots of artefacts plus all the lower decks and cabins left how they would have been in days gone by. There is also a nice looking restaurant deep in the heart of the ship. We really enjoyed our 90 minutes on there and regard it as one of the highlights of my family's week in Hamburg
