Can't comment on the food, as were just here for drinks on a beautiful afternoon.
Rick's is set in/on a beautiful cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea in West End Negril š.
The place is spotless and the plenty of smiling, helpful staff make this place (looks like new) a real memorable experience.
Yes, make no mistake, Rick's is a finely run "goldmine" in my opinion!
Yes they souvenir shop quality stuff tees were $27+,
etc., and the hamburger and fries(big portion) are $17, but I can see why...
The setting is spectacular, even better on a sunny afternoon, especially @sunset š
The bar has changed alot since my first visit 15 years ago physically, but the main attraction still remains the cliff diving... You or me can jump/dive off the 35' cliff into a deep inlet beneath; kinda reminiscent of Acapulco cliff daredevils.
Todays daredevil at Ricks was Brandon, who put on a fantastic performance several times during our 3 hour stay. Got a couple good pictures of this crazy guy who is well worth a donation to his tip bucket.
I couldn't help but think as I drank a few Red Stripes and test tube shots what a great place this would be for a group party š„³
Bachelor/ette party, (yes they're lifeguards, but know your limitations) big birthday/anniversary, staff reward party +)
I haven't forgotten the late afternoon stage show with a DJ, plus MC and of course the sexy lookin dancers. They dance up a storm and can really shake their "bon bons" 𤣠Definitely a great team of performers.
In conclusion, Rick's is a very memorable day, one you'll always "hopefully " remember. The setting is gorgeous and the place is well worth the $ when all is said and done...
I'll be back š
