📍 Ricola Herb Garden @Zermatt 🇨🇭 Peaceful Stop with Swiss Alpine Herbs & Matterhorn Views Nestled on the slopes near Zermatt, the Ricola Herb Garden is a small yet beautiful alpine garden showcasing the herbs used in Ricola’s iconic Swiss herbal drops. It’s an easy and pleasant walk from Blatten, making it a lovely side stop for hikers heading toward Zum See or Furi. The garden offers a well-maintained path through a variety of labeled herbs like mint, elderflower, and sage—all cultivated in harmony with nature. It’s peaceful, uncrowded, and comes with the bonus of stunning views of the Matterhorn and surrounding meadows. 🧭 Tip: • Entry is free and open during the summer season • Visit in late spring through early autumn to see the herbs at their best

A very quiet place, extremely cool in case that you need to being alone in the nature. Anyway a little bit energy needed in case that you to walk here, high slope :)

In November all the herbs were dead. No information about the herbs. I expected something bigger and more interesting place.

Amazing and interactive experience. Playing at the nature was wonderful. We participate on the Ricola challenge so we are waiting maybe to win a prize 😍

Nice place in easy reach of Zermatt, perfect for a quick morning hike! From Zermatt center, I recommend visiting the Gorner Gorge first and at the end of the visit to continue the hike to Blatten & the Ricola Herb Garden (about 10-15 min. walking distance from the end of the Gorge path). It seemed less strenuous to do this instead of the other way around. Blatten restaurant nearby is a good option for a quick break with views of the Matterhorn from the terrace.

Cute little garden with the herbs from Ricola. There's a little game to identify the herbs. It's very kid friendly. A good stop on your way down from Furi to Zermatt

Excellent place to learn about the medicinal herbs that go into the Ricola lozenge. Great for kids to learn about natural medicines

Beautiful spot to come visit in the summer on a nice day. A wonderfully tended garden in plain view of the Matterhorn massiv. Enjoy it!
