Riders Hotel

It was really enjoyable. We had yoga first and then continue with Brunch on Sunday. The place is clean and we had an lecker coffee. I would definitely go again. It is suitable for teenagers and young people especially. Try to spend some time at the bar as well.

The staff of the hotel was lovely and so helpful in answering all of our organizational questions. We were able to purchase lift passes at reception and the walk to the ski rental place / ski lifts was 5 mins. There were other restaurants nearby as well, I loved the vegetarian breakfast buffet, hubby missed his meat. We liked the design of the rooms which was super functional and the underfloor heating was also nice. We were able to store our ski equipment in lockers at the hotel, parking was a 2 minute walk (check in parking for unloading luggage directly at the hotel). There was a great gym and an art gallery which had yoga classes! Would definitely come back!! The hotel is dog friendly.

Really cool hotel. Dinner, breakfast buffet and the bar were excellent and the inhouse club is a nice option for evening entertainment:) Our room was spacious but cozy with a beautiful forest view, comfy beds, and smart storage options. As a plus, the whole location was very dogfriendly.

Amazing place! The design of the place, views(!!!), and staff are unbeatable. Lots of people came with kids, though it was quiet, they had a game room, a beautiful and very romantic restaurant. Breakfast was great, lots of options to choose from, and everything was extremely tasty. And the fact that it’s a 4 min walk from the ski lift makes this place perfect for those who like nice design but don’t want to walk a lot.

It’s always a pleasure to come to Riders hotel. Super Friendly staff, great room and good food. Perfect spot for a perfect stay.

Our stay at Riders Hotel in LAAX was absolutely fantastic. We had a lot of fun. Although I had a small issue with my booking, the staff resolved it quickly and efficiently, which really showcased their excellent service. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that perfectly fueled us for a full day on the slopes. The spread included a variety of fresh vegetables, eggs, yogurts, breads, and more, and we loved being able to order flat whites alongside it. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, with the LAAX ski lift and rental just a quick 5-minute walk away. We celebrated Christmas Eve at the hotel’s restaurant, and the meal was nothing short of incredible. The cocktails were another highlight—some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. Riders Hotel and the entire LAAX resort made for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Modern clean hotel, with a vibe. Caters to outdoor, young (at heart) people. Rooms are spacious, quiet, clean, and we loved the bedding (but not the too soft mattress). The only downside is that the rooms were way too hot, the fan doesn’t help at all, especially for the high bunk beds. Breakfast was a blast. Paying for parking seems a bit too much though, it’s all part of one resort. The village itself is unremarkable.

Riders hotel is a beautiful hotel located in a wonderful place where you can see the forest and smell the wood from the window on one side and the mountains spread out on the other side. A cable car and a children's skating rink are not far from the hotel. The interior of the hotel is very tasteful, modern and clean. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We were so impressed with this hotel that we will visit this place again.

I didn't really stay at the Riders Palace, but just went one day to Laax. Was really good, no people at all, but it is Low season at the moment :) Great place for boarders!

Super Slick yet Simple // Relaxed Atmosphere // Young Guests Me and my friends have been spending a few days every season at the Riders Palace in Laax for the last 3 years. The young crowd and the simple and informal setup is very inviting if you're not looking for the formalities of a regular hotel. The design of the building and the rooms is very slick yet simple and comfortable, something typically Swiss in my opinion. They also have a bar in the ground floor and a club in the basement. On the weekends the bar tends to get crowded because usually there is live music in the club and people commute between the two. The 360 rooms are equivalent to the RP middle class and tend to be around CHF 75 / person and night which is probably the cheapest private room you'll find in Laax. Here you have 3 beds and a sofa or a fatboy, as well as a TV, a private shower, sink, and a toilet, all of which are separate. The rooms are very comfortable and safe due to multiple cardreaders you need to pass to access a room. They have 2 large rooms in the basement where guests can store and dry their boards and gear, as well as a storage room where you can keep your luggage if you wanna go boarding/skiing on your last day or before you can check in. This room has a shower and towels as well which is very very useful. My Dislikes: The parties get really noisy and the bass makes your bed vibrate if your room is close to the club. The toilets have no proper ventilation so that RP decided to cut off the top and bottom 10cm of the door which can lead to very uncomfortable situations if you know what I mean. IMO the prices are a bit too high considering you don't even get a proper breakfast.

Awesome place to stay while you're skiing in LAAX and really great snowboard culture here. They had a jib jam when we were here, which was put on by some local sponsorship.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Value for money, top quality concrete, shit breakfast (truly, bring some food) make sure you ask for ID if you're doing more than drinking in the bar, just in case;)
