Ridges At Sand Creek

Ridges at Sand Creek is a great track and in excellent shape. 11 of the holes wind through wooded area and feels like you are playing at a northern MN golf resort. Grabbed dinner after the round, nice menu. Had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and my buddy had the bacon cheese burger-very good. Easy drive from the metro. Highly recommend

Great course. layout and shape are great. This was my second time playing it but both times I have played, I purposely play in off times to try to play fast. The pace has been 5hrs plus both times. The course is great but need to crack down on pace of play. Hard to justify playing when you have that long of waits between every shot and what seems like regulars are the problem not letting faster players play through.

Best value in the Twin Cities area. The golf course is challenging with an interesting layout. The scenery is gorgeous especially on the wooded holes. The staff is outstanding and if you get a chance to grab a meal in the restaurant you won't be disappointed there either.

It's a 4.4 if Google would let me do decimals. The price is right and it's tucked away in a cool area. Good chance you will get paired up if you don't have 4. Our random was cool and the pace of play was an even 4 hours. Greens were recently sanded but still ran true. Lunch was good. Server was definitely the least enjoyable part of the day. Other ones seemed to be friendly. Will certainly be back.

We love this course!! It’s a hidden gem with challenging holes and you can’t beat the price. The clubhouse has a beautiful veranda and the food is a great value for the price. Our only complaint is there isn’t always a ranger keeping the pace of play, and we’ve had to wait up to ten minutes at each hole. Overall though, they do a great job!!

Was part of a 32-man, 36-hole tournament @ Ridges this past Friday. Course conditions were fantastic, the bev cart and restaurant service excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating and kept everything running smooth. The outdoor deck is a great place for ending your round and day. Highly recommend this course - the riverside holes are some of the prettiest you will find.

Played 36 recently as part of an event. Good hospitality, did well coordinating cart change after 18 holes with limited time. Course in good shape, greens rolled true. Nice variety in overall layout and good value.

Beautiful course with a good mix of challenging and accessible holes. Much of the course runs along Sand Creek and the scenery is spectacular. I would give it 5 stars but some of the greens are in pretty tough shape. I could see that they were working on it, so will definitely check back. The clubhouse is large and they have a full grill and bar. Super friendly staff will help you with whatever you need.

Beautiful landscape, unfortunately customer service was not. Very unfortunate that an employee and management were rude and made it a negative experience.

Five stars for what it is. A good lunch place out of Jordan. The menu has a little of everything. The food and service are good. I like the Rachel sandwich, the great Cobb salad, steak bites and tall club sandwich. The prices are a good value for what you get. The staff is helpful.

Looks like this is the first review for the actual Golf Course... "Ridges", this is one of the only courses I have played that the name really says something about the course. There are ridges on the Fairways, ridges on the greens, ridges in the rough...I mean this is really an accurate description of the features on this course and they make it a more challenging experience. We had a Sunday morning tee time and the gentlemen in the clubhouse was very pleasant, only thing I would disagree with is his recomendation on it being an easy course to walk. This is not an easy walking course and I would suggest a cart, I used a push cart and it was still a bear. There is quite a bit of distanc between holes and some long, steep hills. The ranger checking people in at hole #1 was also very nice, he chatted us up about the owners and gave us a quick tutorial hole by hole. Very nice people that are eager to share this little gem in the country with new visitors. 30% of the holes are pretty wide open while the other 70% are in a valley area with some really challenging elevation changes, water and of course...ridges. These ridges are like spines through the putting surface, sloping areas that cause a blind approach and angled fairways that will prevent you from having a flat stance. They did a great job incoroporating these little annoyances to make for a difficult round. We had lunch after on the nice big back patio. I had the Wrangler Burger with Onion Rings and BBQ Sauce, it was good but was definitely not medium as requested. There was a good looking brunch going on as we made the turn, I know I saw a waffle area and omelet bar. My friends and I will definitely keep this course on the play again list, except next time we will be renting a cart :)

Shauna and Mack were terrible servers. Our waitress left at shift change and we ordered another drink so she opened a tab for us at the bar but the 2 new servers never acknowledged us, they ignored us even when we went into the bar. When I went in a second time to try to order because they ignored my friend completely I had to yell at Mack to get his attention. After ordering drinks he asked if I was paying for the tab as well. I complained that we had been there and were being ignored. He said well your waitress said you were just hanging out. Well then why did she start a tab? We tried to order another drink and I had to scream to get Shauna's attention. We ordered and again she repeated she was told we were just hanging out! My husband spends enough money golfing there because he loves the course but I guarantee we will not be spending money in the restaurant again!

We had tee-times for Sunday, August 11. We checked in about 30 minutes early. We started on time (even a bit early) the course was in great shape and beautiful. There isn't anything bad we can say about the course, restaurant or club house. We played in New Prague the week before, and this is a far better course for the same amount of money.

This is for the restaurant at the golf course. We have lived in Jordan for the last two years and since we aren't golfers, we never had a chance to check out the restaurant. Tonight we were looking for a change and decided to try the restaurant for take out. While their social media and restaurant menu appears outdated, their menu online is correct. They have an expansive menu and the food was wonderful! I had the red pepper tortellini with chicken dumpling soup. Both were fantastic! Husband had Burger and fries and they were also good. Prices were affordable and the staff was friendly and helpful. We should have checked this out sooner! We can't wait to work our way through the rest of their menu. We have heard the brunch is very good so we will try that next.

I always forget about this place. Set just a short drive down the road their food is good! Both classic golf course food, with bar food, and home cooked food. I've always had a friend server and love their covered patio overlooking the course.

Course is decent, hole one begins with a long par 5 which I didn't like. What I also did NOT like was the employees attitude and tone of voice. Especially Jayson/Jaysen. Getting pressured to keep up the pace when we were well below our 2 hour pace was not a highlight for this course.

Restaurant in a very nice setting with view of the golf course. Good, friendly service. But the food was nothing special. The burgers were overcooked and dry. The wrap was served with dressing in a plastic mini-tub and so was dry too. The rest were okay but, as I said, nothing special.

This is a great course. The layout was great, the staff was very friendly and the pace of play was was just fine. The course is well designed with plenty of risk reward options. It's also nice because you get the feeling of 2 different courses as it starts above and plays very links style and then drops down to the creek and plays through the woods. Great course I will definitely be back!

I love the course! Much of the course reminds me of a course in northern MN. Get a cart, the green to tee distance can be a bit on a few holes.. We have eaten at the restaurant a number of times lately and have enjoyed everything that we ordered. had a burger and wings yesterday, burger was pink and juicy and tasted great. They cook on a grill instead of a flattop. We got the wings with dry rub which was a great choice. A great menu with many choices and all we have had were great. Worth eating here even if you are not golfing.

I played here last week and the course was in great condition, I really like this course due to it's variety. Half of the course is an upland open style, not quite a links course. The other is in the beautiful valley of Sand Creek with old railroad bridges and where the creek is in play on several holes. All they need is a covered bridge and the setting would be complete! I would have provided an extra star if they had a ranger on the course as the group behind us skipped two hole and then slowed play down quite a bit.

Worst four hours of my life. There was never a moment where I didn't have a swarm of bugs at my head. I consumed more calories in bugs than I have in food all day. I wanted to throw my clubs in the river, then set the river on fire. This overall experience has ruined the sport of golf for me. The beverage cart sped by us when we were already dying on the course and would have purchased in beverages. Played one of my best rounds but still was on the verge or tears. Overall, would NOT recommend.

I often eat at the Ridges restaurant for lunch and while the food is very good, it is never served the same way twice and often served differently than decribed on the menu. I would definitely recommend eating there, but check with the server to make sure you are getting what you are ordering.

Pro shop needs to learn to not book a tour of 6-somes and schedule tee times imediately after they start. Do your self a favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to New Prague Country Club instead.

Avid golfer and very disapcazpointed In the Service At this course. Played yesterday and pro shop At ridges needs to learn basic scheduling. You cannot schedule a tournament with 11 six somes and put a group eight Minutes behind. I have never heard of any legitimate course even allowing six In a group. After being reassured prior to checking In that it would not be an issue we left the course after being on pace for a 6.5 hour round. Pro shop was clueless and non responsive. Will not play this course again. Instead play valley view In belle plaine or new prague country club you.will be glad you did.

While the service and golf is sometimes slow when the course is busy; The food is very good, the course layout is fantastic, and it's always in great shape.
