I had a wonderful stay at Rido Hotel.
I stayed in a deluxe room on the 7th floor, which included a king-sized bed, a jetted tub, a shower that had both a standard mounted/handheld shower and a rainfall shower. The room was very spacious, modern, and clean. The bed was really comfortable. The room had a flat screen tv, a mini fridge, and a cabinet.
One negative was the shower door. It doesn't close tight so water leaks on the floor, into the other drain. I had to use towels to soak up excess water to prevent from slipping.
Amazing customer service . On the first day, they brought a basket of snacks and drinks. Everyday they brought a plate with a banana, orange, and cookie. The hotel offers free snacks in the middle of the day in the basement. I was also given free breakfast vouchers every morning,. The breakfast options were okay.
While not in the craziness of the city, the hotel is located near the Daan Park metro, which is a quick metro ride to Taipei 101 and Elephant mountain. There is also a Ding Tai Fung nearby.
