A small but nice hotel, right next to a park. 1min walk from closest station so quite convenient. Rooms are neat and clean, and have a bathtub. Just wish their noise isolation can be better (it's not bad) then it would be perfect for the price.

Beautiful big rooms, and beautiful old hotel. Very close to Daan park and famous Michelin star dumplings. Staff were lovely.The room was big, bathroom was great, room cleaned daily, bonus afternoon tea for free.Only down side was the room smelled like cigarette smoke, think it was coming through the cooling system and the place smelt damp.

This place is a hidden gem considered it's location that is facing the Daan Park. In Europe, this hotel will be considered boutique hotel. Google definition of boutique hotel is at the end of this review. It is also close to Taipei MRT entrance and very close to bus stations that include many major bus routes. Those bus stop are just step away from the hotel. This place was originally designed for a romantic getaway within bustling City of Taipei. That's why you see all those detail of Crown moldings and expensive wood paneling and art decorations. They even have fresh cut flowers throughout the public area of the hotel. You only find this type of fresh cut flower at the five star hotels which will cost you five time the cost of this one. Why this hotel cost less, it is because their marketing strategy, too old fashioned thinking. But it is great for us. If you are in the real estate business or construction business, You can tell this hotel cost a lot of money to built, just look at the details on all the tiles in the bathrooms and everything else. Some people might felt the hotel it's dated but if you like old world charm this is the hotel you want to stay in. It is much better than those high price hotel with boring decoration and nothing to enjoy seeing while walking down the hallway. The room are considered bigger than typical two-person room, but due to lack of room selection that if you have a large family, You need to book at least two rooms to accommodate everyone. The best part is that they have free laundry facility that you could do it yourself. And the most important thing is that they have a garage where you could park your car for free or your friends or family's car when they come and visit you. The atmosphere is a bit like those hourly hotel. But don’t see them offering hourly rates. The room is clean and there is free parking.

Location is good and near 永康街. Hotel is cozy and comfortable. Big bathroom with jacuzzi bathtub Metro station is just at the door step.

Location is very very near to MRT Station. About 3mins walk. Accessible to literally anywhere Rooms are comfortable with a big bath tub.

Thanks for put snack everyday in my room, and to keep the room clean. I get the best view from 10th floor, straight to Daan Park. Also the window can open, so fresh air can come into the room.

This hotel is very close to the Metro and close to a park and where we wanted to be. The bathroom had a large bathtub and the bed was sufficiently soft. We found a fruit market close by and the hotel staff was very helpful in getting something printed for us.
