Top contender for least impressive UNESCO monuments. It's a cool house, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I guess if you're in Utrecht it's worth a visit. When I visited I learned you could go inside for 19 euros, which seems absurd. It was also fully booked so if you want to go inside, be prepared for that.

I traveled all the way from Stockholm, Sweden just to visit this architectural masterpiece, and it was worth the travel! It was an incredible experience.

Amazing house from 1924. The entrance is free if you have a museum card, if not you'll have to pay around 14 euros, which are totally worth it. I hope you can get the demonstration on the 'day' and 'night' house arrangement. Try to make an appointment online. The house is amazing and super beautiful

For this Google review, I won't discuss the building but how the museum present and educate its visitors. The Schroder house itself is a historical significant modern architecture, and it's far more challenging to curate a historical house museum since the house itself is the object and thus faces more physical limitations. E.g., limited space and preservation. The museum did provide rather updated information and valuable demonstrations of house transformation. But €19 was far too expensive for self guided audio tour in compared to other historical houses. The house also didn't give enough impression of "someone's house." In the end of the day, we still don't feel/see how Schroder and her family lived in that house.

The visit pleasantly surprised us. Our guide Carla explained everything to us in detail and we were able to ask her questions. Highly recommended!

One of the greatest architectural attractions to see in Netherlands. It really impressive to see something so progressive in the pretty conservative neighborhood. You should pay attention to working hours and book tickets in advance because they have a tight schedule with groups and short working hours. Tickets can also be bought next door. People working there are kind are ready to explain everything. There is a nice coffee shop on the right and paid street parking is in front of the property. Definitely worth a visit.

Great museum in quiet nice area. All people worry here are very polite. Visit with museum card is free, but you have to make an appointment in advance on the website. You can take photo and watch a movie. They maintain the condition of the furniture well and demonstrate how all the objects perform their function. In addition, they give an audio guide for free. There are many people on weekend. I don’t like they have book only on Dutch.
