love the vibe of this place. been to the houdini before, now for the first time at the riffraff. both cinemas have such an amazing aura. can’t wait to visit again. wonderful selection of movies.

Scream was rather small (screen 1). Location of cup holders is far. The screening hall feels old. Chairs aren’t so comfortable. Sound system was great.

Lovely little theatre with attached bar. From their program I can see they emphasize smaller releases. I appreciate the heck out of theatres like these. Saw a late night showing here of Talk To Me. 10/10 would come again. Maybe it's because I was watching a horror, but I found the bathroom very out of the way and hidden.

One of the last view cinemas that has not lost it‘s magic. Quiet small but super cozy, with a great selection of movies that are displayed. A very nice bar that you can order from and you can bring your beverages to the movie. The atmosphere is extremly calming and ‚cinematic‘ if that makes any sense. To sum it up, a really really nice place to spend your time. 10/10 definetly visiting again. Merci RiffRaff!

Nice Bar & Cinema that you can actually rent!

A really nice small cinema that gives space to local events and also shows niche movies. The bistro is nice as well!

Excellent place during the Queer Pink Apple festival. The movie theatre is also confortable which is a great plus !

Great cozy kino. Great seating, large leg space. The atmosphere in the bar is great. You can bring your own snacks and drinks!

This the bar where I go the most. It is very close to my place but it is a very nice bar just to have a easy drink. They have nice cocktail menu (kinda standard) and have 2 - 3 suggestions for cocktails "The King Sling" is one that they have at the moment and it is my favorite !! It get crowded before and after the movie session but people don't stay long. The staff is very friendly (you only have on or two very impolite staff members - but I suppose that is there hipster style to be a bit unfriendly). You can grab a snack to eat here, but it is not a big cuisine. I wouldn't recommended it to come here with a group because it is not very big and there is always enough people. Unless you can book some tables around the sofa's. Even if you are with 6 - 7 people it starts to get to small. Price cocktail: 14,5 Sfr. Price beer: 4,5 Sfr. My big big big disappointment is that the garden is gone...

The riff raff bar is situated in the same building with the cinema. I really like it for a quick drink after my French course in Limmatplatz or just before my movie evening. The place is spartan, no big decoration. The staff is friendly but gets very crowded before and after the movie time. But I love to take my drink there and take it with me while watching an independent movie. Good Campari orange for 9 chf.

If you are looking for a place to take a group (Will and I took our ex-pat group of around 30 people), Riff Raff is perfect. It has one side that is a bit more open and large and another side that is more intimate and cozy. We took over the open side and had an absolute blast. Not a great selection of wines, but the prices were okay here. Really easy to get to from Limmatplatz, short walk.

OK for drinking something before or after the movie. Service is very friendly, the interiour of the bar is really nice, but it's a bit unconfortable without seats and when all the people from the cinema come out it's sometimes impossible to get to your drink. Prices are a bit above average for Zurich.

Half a litre of Orion IPA and half a litre of Sprint lager for CHF 12.80! Plus a table on the street to indulge in spot of people-watching. Thoroughly enjoying my beer in the sunshine - can't fault it.

Laid back atmosphere on a Friday night with a very mixed crowd in terms of ages (as mixed as your average art house movie audience). Good decor with projected movie playing on back wall and not at all noisy despite a full house. Very friendly staff and good selection from the top shelf.
