Great people. Great food (try the Tomahawk if in doubt). Great history of the establishment itself and nearby TRINCEE if you dare--it is 10 out of 10). Great location.

Refreshing and well deserved beer after climbing up to the lake. 6 € for a beer.

The real positives: the clothes washing and drying facilities plus boot room is great. The restaurant is rewarding. Good, hearty food done well. Great tiramisu! ||The staff are genuinely helpful and I believe care, but are overworked / under resourced. It shows. Things take an age to resolve. But I stress the several staff we engaged with were cool and we tipped here and there. ||The negatives. The room we had (a four - two bunks) was poor. Dilapidated and unloved. The mattresses were probably bought before the Dolomites were formed and we were not persuaded the bedding was hygienic. ||The real negatives are the showers and (gents) on the second floor. The showers were designed by someone who lacks the capacity to be culpable for anything. There’s nothing logical or desirable about the offer. Truly maddening.

Free spacious unlimited shower time! Cheap-cost included dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was average. Free wifi. 20 people to the down, could be a con but enjoyed chatting with other hikers! Has washer and dryer! Cute older building. Clean and comfy beds in dorm.

Location is great and we had the whole refugee for ourselves but it’s really expensive as for such a rural conditions. The stuff is not much interested in you. Almost 100 eur for one night with breakfast( which is also very simple, that simple that we started to bring our own food) is the price that is suitable for a hotel. Also it was very cold inside and the drying room was not working so after a very rainy hike we couldn’t hike anymore as our hiking shoes and clothes didn’t dry even a little. Generally you can find much nicer huts in the area.

They serve awful dinner for the half board and breakfast was just as bad. Instant coffee and stale food they set out the night before. They take little to no pride in what they do here and it shows. Rooms are fine but they are outdated and the hut is poorly maintained. Two dogs are chained up in back with nobody attending to them and they bark all day and they don't seem happy. I hope someone takes over this place and revitalizes it because it has huge potential.

Very run down, breakfast and dinner were terrible. Institutional food, instant coffee, very limited selection. Staff was indifferent at best. One of the worst refugios we have stayed at.

I stayed there while doing a hike. The view is nice. But the rifugio is not. I was put in an attic dorm room which seemed very old and basic. The food is bland. The staff were abrupt. The washing machine and dryer did not appear to be working. The place feels like a construction site with unfinished electrical sockets everywhere. The showers had this weird communal thing happening with seperate cubicles in a shared room. I won’t be back.
