For the price you pay for this place it is a 5 star.. The location is really good. It’s right next to the cable car. The restaurant opens at 7:30 on the dot we had the pizza. We both enjoyed it. It was large enough to feed both. I probably would not stay here again and just make it a day trip not much goes on in this town tonight.

Not many options for places to stay when you wanna sleep close to Etna, so we paid a little more than other places we have stayed but it was top of the mountain so i guess to be expected, however we were lucky enough to get the last room at late notice and it came with a huge balcony, so I could smoke freely Haha and it came with a fabulous shower, we had been sleeping in the van for 3 night before so needed a good shower!! , and the food in the restaurant was pretty lush too! I took the mix grill, and it made me Trump all night! Haha. Looking west from the top of the mountain we watched the most amazing sunset, we drove just a little bit down the road to a huge carpark and faced West, only too then turn around and face south where we could see the entire of Sicily illuminated, however we woke up to snow on the ground (it is late november) and freezing weather with fast moving fog... so bad that sadly our trip to the top of Etna got cancelled, butI'd defo go back again

My husband and I are spending one night in Mount Edna, Sicily. The hotel recommended this place for us and even made the reservations in advance. I was concerned but appreciative of the foresight. We walked in around 8 PM and it was very quiet which also made me wondered about the experience we were about to encounter. By 9PM the place was full (and a bit loud) and the food plates were flying by.|I will summarize it by saying the whole experience was amazing! |The food was phenomenal, and the service kept right along in the same category. |We had a margarita pizza and a salad to star, followed by a pork Filetto, and straccato along with French fries, and of course a bottle of wine. 😜. |Now as for the dessert (of course we had to have one), we had an amazing pistachio and chocolate soufflé.|Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. |Highly recommend this place!

We were cold and wet when we came down from our visit to the summit of Mount Etna but this was just the place to warm us up. Even though it was very busy, we did not have to wait too long to be serve and our freshly-made drinks were lovely and hot. Our snacks (don't ask me what they were called) were delicious. Can recommend.

The car park is the logical spot to aim for if you want the cable car. Only cost us 4 euros, so not too expensive. Pre-book the cable car is worth doing, as you can join the front of the queue.

I did not stay at the hotel. We planned a day to hike the volcano. We took the cable cars and then the trucks most of the way to the mountain and then hiked the rest of the way up through a tour excursion. The guide was very very knowledgeable and helpful. We had some inexperienced hikers in our group which caused some headache if you will, but overall I would definitely return. One suggestion I would make to the excursion guides would be to split the experienced hikers and the inexperienced hikers into 2 groups. I did this hike with cracked ribs and to be honest there was maybe 3 people in the group that had zero hiking issues. About half the group needed babysitting if you will.

Service was very slow. My husband got his main entree, but mine never came. We waited over 45 minutes for it and it never came even after a waiter tried to take our silverware and we told him we had more food coming. When we got our check, they charged us for all the food, even what we didn't get. When we told the cashier/owner. He said "sorry" and that was it. At the very least I would've expected something to be comped.

We visited after a quad excursion and really enjoyed everything we had. The children's menu was extensive and the portions are generous. Service is very efficient and the views are breathtaking 😍 the tris of arancini is a must-try!

Yelp
Good service, great food. Enjoyed the mixed fried appetizer which had a variety of delicious choices. My Etna pizza was delicious and tasted so fresh. This location is right in the Mt Etna touristy area, but was easy to get a table. Great prices as well.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Perfect feast for hiking a mountain. Thank you for your hospitality. House wine is the best. Mushroom ravioli was delicious.
