Another quite Gothic cathedral in Riga. At the top of the tower there is a cockerel - one of the symbols of Riga. The church is used as a religious building and a secular one. There is a powerful organ, but we were not able to listen to it. We also planned the museum for our next trip.

Beautiful organ (mechanical) with 7000 pipes. Through the Christmas celebrations, they held a short daily concert for 15 euros. You don't have to buy tickets for children. I recommend combining a concert and sightseeing at the same time. This way you don't have to buy tickets twice.

A most beautiful church with an astonishing organ. They were tuning it when we visited. The cloisters hold all manor of things like old canons and pieces of statuary. The fee to get in is reasonable and well worth it. Beware of using the bathroom as there was a massive queue.

A great Roman style church from the 13th century. Simple decor inside and beautiful windows. The most interesting thing is the enormous organ above the entrance. I do not remember ever seen an organ this size. We also went outside in the monastery garden and corridor. In the corridors, you can se a lot of old cannons and ornaments. No info of the displayed artifacts. In fact, the monastery garden and corridors seemed neglected and need a great deal of maintenance and restoration. Small playground for kids in the garden as well as a dedicated room for children inside the church makes it a recommendable place to visit with kids.

A very large and somewhat austere Cathedral. The ticket allows entry to the Cathedral itself and the Cloister - which is stuffed full of old canon for reasons I failed to find out. Overall it's a short visit and less good value (with no Student pricing) compared to other Riga attractions that contain a lot more of interest. Worth it for Cathedral lovers, otherwise there are other Churches as interesting and free.

Quite a large and glorious building from the outside, relatively plain yet filled with intricate objects from the inside. Clock tower with a unique dome which is making the face of the city. Also is surrounded by intricate vivid stained glasses.

It costs €5 to enter the cathedral. It is worth the cost to see the interior, and the adjacent cloister. There is a very informative leaflet available which explains all the stained glass windows and other features within the cathedral.

Went to the organ concert, a short 30-minute audio display of the cathedral's truly stunning organs. If you have time, I definitely recommend visiting this history-rich cathedral.
