Prior to arriving here for your camping spot, DO NOT CALL THE 1-800 number listed on their website. Because let me tell you, it's not a person that works here. I know this because a Friday after work, we took the drive up only to find out they were out of locations and only open to the reservations already made.
If you call the 1-800 number, you will be informed that ALL spots on the grounds are first come. When really just Riley Creek Campgrounds are first come. And at 10pm, we were not about to take a mile hike with all of our gear in the dark. Being so draining from work, this was the last thing we really wanted to hear.
Their saving grace? They really do have a ton of stuff available in their shop, their workers continued to apologize about the misunderstanding, and THEY HAVE WI-FI! (Perfect for looking at reviews of OTHER campsites ... kidding, but not.)
Wish we could've stayed here considering it was so close to our next days adventure through the park.
