The 12 Best Hotel Kids Clubs Around The World - AFAR

"Tucked away amid the vast blue swimming pools, gargantuan foliage, and water-spouting monkey statues of the 403-room family resort Rimba by Ayana in beachy Jimbaran Bay, Bali, is an ultra-tidy, minimalist, and child-led environment that, as of summer 2023, is home to camps for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old. Led by Guidepost Montessori, a Hong Kong–based school, this club’s well-educated teachers present curious young minds with programming that is typically focused around the Balinese kembali concept of returning to nature with activities centered on the ocean, farm-to-table agriculture and cooking, and Indonesian culture." - Michelle Baran

RIMBA by AYANA Bali (Jimbaran Bay, Bali) 3 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"RIMBA by AYANA Bali is a tropical princess with a suitably mellifluous name. Not much unexplored territory remains here in Jimbaran, the South Bali version of Beverly Hills, where impossibly luxurious villas crowd one another for that coveted sunset perch. So they looked inward, capitalizing on over 220 clifftop acres to set aside this portion — just as lofty, just as replete with botanical wonders, and just as spectacular, especially around sunset." - Tablet Hotels

We spent four days, three nights at Rimba and had a fantastic time. It was the perfect place to unwind directly after a long flight with a toddler. The size of the resort was fantastic, providing us with ample scope to enjoy various activities. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the monkeys and the Private beach and requested to go on the "bus" (scheduled trams) multiple times a day. I would particularly recommend the Chinese restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. Diari and Lobaidy were sensational and provided really helpful service, and made us feel so welcome. I would particularly recommend this property to families.

This has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Exceeded expectations, most notably from the staff who are incredibly attentive, friendly and professional. They remember your name, your preferences & go out of their way to ensure your needs are met. We were impressed not only by the service but the presentation and cleanliness of all the areas. Everything is immaculate.

Our stay at RIMBA by AYANA Bali was absolutely wonderful! The resort is stunning — surrounded by lush greenery, with multiple pools (each with its own vibe), and beautifully designed rooms that feel modern and relaxing. We loved how clean and well-maintained everything was. The staff were exceptional — always friendly, professional, and ready to help with anything we needed. Having access to the entire AYANA estate was a huge bonus too; we enjoyed trying different restaurants, bars and pools without ever leaving the resort. The property is quite large, so you’ll often take the shuttle to get around, but it’s well organized and runs frequently. Food and drinks are on the pricier side, but the quality and overall experience make it worth it. If you’re looking for a luxurious, family-friendly, and beautifully run resort in Bali, RIMBA by AYANA is an excellent choice. We’d definitely stay again!

Had lunch at the Chinese restaurant Liu Li today. The food was of very high quality and simply delicious . The service was faultless and impeccable. Standout dish was the Peking duck. Rimba’s reception area is modern and inviting. The pool is probably my favourite in the whole resort of 11 pools. There’s a very quiet hidden gem of a pool on the highest deck.

We had an absolute blast on our three-day trip to this massive resort. It’s actually a cluster of several hotels connected together, so you’ll need to take their shuttle to get around. They run every few minutes, so it’s easy to catch one. Staying at any one hotel gives you full access to all the facilities. Download their app, and you can handle pretty much any booking, including room service and the famous Rock Bar. We also tried the seawater therapy pool, which was super fun and unique! If you want to head out, just call a Grab from the lobby, and a car arrives in minutes. Last, thanks Fiskry & Andi for the room services, much appreciated. Overall, it’s an incredibly fun place, and I’d definitely come back next time to Bali!

RIMBA by AYANA was just outstanding, everything is just so beautiful from the views to the greenery to the pools to the staff to the inclusive breakfast. The staff at RIMBA were so unbelievably friendly and ensured our needs were always met. We had amazing housekeeping service from Jery who always topped up for us and put a smile on our face. Something I really love about AYANA is how it’s one big complex and you don’t need to leave the resort to explore different restaurants and pools. Would 100% stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at Rimba for the first time after reading the amazing reviews and seeing the gorgeous photos online. We had stayed 7 nights at our favourite Villas in Sanur before treating ourselves to a few days at Rimba before heading home to Australia. What an incredible place! From the moment we checked in we were delighted by the service from Audi at the check in counter, who was so lovely, professional, friendly and genuine. We had a stunning room with a gorgeous balcony where we watched the sunset. This resort is next level. Everything about it runs like clockwork, it is huge! There are four resorts across the property and a cute tram that runs every ten mins all day from the lobby to the other resorts, so you have use of all the facilities, pools, restaurants etc across the property! We still loved Rimba the best, but the other resorts were amazing too! So much to see and do here you don't need to leave the property! Be sure to visit the Ocean pool at sunset - WOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Incredible views!!!!!! We went many times to Kubu beach club and the boys there were so great! ... the food also was amazing! Thank you Refka and Riana and all the guys who made good laughs with us! The staff at Ayana are simply gorgeous and friendly. Thanks again to Audi though who really made our stay a memorable one and one we will never forget. Do yourselves a favour and treat yourselves to a few days here, you won't be dissapointed!

The biggest problem was the trams. This is a huge resort and there is lots to do, but you need to take a tram to get anywhere. They do not have enough trams for all their guests so there are long queues of guests waiting for the trams to come. This is easily fixable and speaks to the overall cheap feel of the resort. The rooms are in need of an update but otherwise fine. No smart tvs and two of our wall sockets did not work. Not what you'd expect for this price point. Food is obviously going to be very expensive. But we weren't allowed to ask for coffee to go, which is tacky. I expect that from a cheap motel. So if you'd like a morning coffee, you must sit down at a restaurant and pay 10 dollars, and you must drink it all while seated there. Why?
