The biggest problem was the trams. This is a huge resort and there is lots to do, but you need to take a tram to get anywhere. They do not have enough trams for all their guests so there are long queues of guests waiting for the trams to come. This is easily fixable and speaks to the overall cheap feel of the resort. The rooms are in need of an update but otherwise fine. No smart tvs and two of our wall sockets did not work. Not what you'd expect for this price point. Food is obviously going to be very expensive. But we weren't allowed to ask for coffee to go, which is tacky. I expect that from a cheap motel. So if you'd like a morning coffee, you must sit down at a restaurant and pay 10 dollars, and you must drink it all while seated there. Why?

We had the most incredible stay at the Rimba estate. This was perfect for our family with plenty of pools and the most jaw dropping sunset views from our room. Other than the sheer beauty of the property, the other stand out feature is the staff. Every single one of them showing exemplary service with a smile. || During the stay I used the fitness centre which was great, a huge shout out to ‘Risky’ who gave me great 1:1 time and helped me with stretching. ||I’d also like to thank the lovely staff in the breakfast canteen who put up with my many requests. ||We lost our glasses one day and the hotel found them and personally delivered them to our room. That’s service for you! ||Overall I can’t say quite enough great things about this hotel. The food is outstanding, the pools are divine and the staff are brilliant. What an amazing hotel. I read about this in Singapore a few months ago - and knew I had to stay. Well done whoever is doing their PR!

Rimba is part of collection of resorts at Ayana. So, this review will encompass all that these resorts offer. Rimba is the remotest of all of the resorts there. This does not really have an impact as there is a tram (bus) that goes around all the resorts and to Kubu Beach and the Rock bar and ocean beach pool every 10 minutes. You can use all the amenities at all the resorts. One morning the breakfast at Rimba was full and so they closed the restaurant and asked people to go to one of the other resorts, we did this and were at the Ayana having breakfast within 10 minutes. This became our venue of choice for breakfast and indeed for dinner. |The Rimba is not really a Balinese style resort and compared to the others is a little on the bland side, the pools are large and there are quite a few but they lack the charm and overall beauty of the Ayana resort, but not to worry you can use the pools and have access to all of the other resorts amenities.|The jewel in the crown is the Ayana resort which has beautiful pools with lush gardens and bougainvillea and fantastic restaurants and is close to the rock bar and ocean beach pool which are amazing, we had a nice cocktail at the Rock Bar which was on the pricey side. 3 drinks for around $80 NZD. It can be very hot there as it is sheltered from any wind and they provide umbrellas to shelter from the sun.|We had a room at Rimba with our own pool access which was really good and refreshing. The room is nice and the beds very comfortable. The TV channels offered here are absolutely pathetic! All local news or CNN or BBC news etc. Not one movie or HBO or sports channel. For the price you are paying to stay here this is woeful and I rang the lobby to complain, and they offered me a tv box which they installed immediately, and this provided access to movies, Netflix , sport and YouTube and any streaming you wanted. Why was this not service not offered originally???

We had such a lovely tea time experience at the Ayana Garden. Sindu was very nice, attentive, and served us with great care. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented.||Rey gave us a wonderful tour of the garden, explained everything very clearly, and even let us taste different herbs. His kindness and knowledge made the whole experience even more special.||Overall, it was a delightful afternoon, combining excellent service, amazing flavors, and the beauty of the garden. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

I came to Bali to celebrate my 50th birthday and chose Ayana Resort for its safety, all-inclusive accommodations, and world-class reputation. While all of the photos online are true to image, being here in person is unfathomably more beautiful—the 90-acre campus feels like paradise in every direction.||||From the moment I arrived on 8/20, I felt completely cared for. My driver greeted me at the airport with a comfortable van, bottled water, and a chilled towel, setting the tone for the rest of my stay. At check-in, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made me feel instantly at home, and that same standard of genuine care continued throughout my week.||||Every restaurant meal was not only beautifully presented, but also delicious, clean, healthy, and plentiful. The service style is consistent across the resort: thoughtful, attentive, and deeply kind. Every tram ride, every groundskeeper, every staff member I passed treated me with joy and respect It truly felt like a culture of care.||||Though I had planned this as a solo trip, my cousins joined me on the 23rd, and they too were amazed by the exceptional hospitality. Together, we experienced a birthday celebration and a stay we’ll never forget.||||Ayana has set the gold standard for hospitality. Even though it takes me 20 hours to get here, I know this will be a regular destination for me moving forward. Thank you to every single member of the Ayana staff! Amazing stay. Service excellent. 100% recommend to hold events/functions here. Better than any other 5☆ hotels of international standards. Staff very polite although language may be a slight hindrance but otherwise perfect getaway.

Ayana was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in! The pools were incredible, a huge range of restaurants and things to do, we absolutely loved it! Perfect honeymoon spot. The staff were absolutely amazing you get treated like royalty. Just be wary that it’s quite expensive to eat there in comparison to the rest of Indonesia. Would definitely recommend for a special experience though!

If I was able to give more than 5 stars, I would. The resort is so amazing and luxurious. The service and staff are phenomenal. Breakfast is sublime. Enough choice for everyone. You feel like a queen/king while there. You’re able to go to the other 2 resorts/ pools as well, all very easily accessible by their tram system. The price of the food/drinks are a bit high, but you get exceptional service and luxury in return. Loved every single bit of my stay here.
