The 12 Best Hotel Kids Clubs Around The World - AFAR

"Tucked away amid the vast blue swimming pools, gargantuan foliage, and water-spouting monkey statues of the 403-room family resort Rimba by Ayana in beachy Jimbaran Bay, Bali, is an ultra-tidy, minimalist, and child-led environment that, as of summer 2023, is home to camps for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old. Led by Guidepost Montessori, a Hong Kong–based school, this club’s well-educated teachers present curious young minds with programming that is typically focused around the Balinese kembali concept of returning to nature with activities centered on the ocean, farm-to-table agriculture and cooking, and Indonesian culture." - Michelle Baran

If I was able to give more than 5 stars, I would. The resort is so amazing and luxurious. The service and staff are phenomenal. Breakfast is sublime. Enough choice for everyone. You feel like a queen/king while there. You’re able to go to the other 2 resorts/ pools as well, all very easily accessible by their tram system. The price of the food/drinks are a bit high, but you get exceptional service and luxury in return. Loved every single bit of my stay here.

Clean rooms If I'm not mistaken 1.3 hectare of land full of multiple different facilities (kids play area, golf putting, many swimming pools, I think 7 pools and 3 gyms) this hotel, has a museum. Read that again. Service was the best of all hotels I've been to. To put simply, they deliver before you ask (Management, both up and down, you've all done exceptionally well). Keep going above and beyond, I'll continue to praise your hospitality and I look forward to staying with you again!

Love the hotel. Morning breakfast is the best with all variety. What outstanding is the service. Very helpful. But room is a bit low in maintenance (don’t get me wrong, it still in very good quality). You will have your best stay in the area! Just don’t think to go to another place outside the area, because it’s gonna be so far away. The kids club is on of the best one.

Everyone was very polite, friendly, nice, and helpful! :) We had an awesome stay at Rimba!!!!! I do hope to come back again as the whole family had the best time there <3 Thank you so much Rimba to all the staff : The receptionist, tram drivers, chefs, waitresses, housekeepers, kids club caretakers, cleaners, concierge, pool staff, managers and anyone else who I missed out ( sorry, about that if I did there are so many staff members! ) Once again, Thank you so much Rimba!||The names I know (sorry if I missed out someone’s name! I tried my best to remember as many as I could!)|Kidsclub: Wahyu, Adhe, Klulah, Lia, Rai, Austin|“The kids club is so cool, it is like a park rather than a club! Rimba is a TOP tier resort in Bali - It feels like a 10 star resort! As it’s part of Ayana resort, you have access to all the pools and activities within the resort (which is HUGE). There is a free tram that transports you around the resort comfortable and quickly. The amenities are extremely beautiful and well maintained. All the restaurants within the resort are amazing - they have something for everyone. There is a superb app which helps you plan your stay with an extremely helpful 24/7 online concierge service which is impeccable. Visually the entire resort is a piece of art - the architecture and greenery is breathtaking and I had to stop at every corner to take a photo. The actual room facilities are perfect - new and clean. The highlight of the resort will be the service - we had Indro creating romantic towel sculptures for us (it seemed like everyone knew it was our honeymoon!) and the wonderful Putra who checked us in to Rimba late at night with elegance and class. Another gentlemen (name starting with W which I can’t remember at this point), hauled a microwave across multiple buildings just so we could reheat food in the middle of the night. Furthermore, the Ayana Memories / Axioo photography was absolutely stunning and a must! If you stay at Ayana / Rimba for anything, stay for the incredible staff. I love Rimba ❤️

RIMBA by AYANA Bali is truly a beautiful and serene escape. Nestled in the lush hills above Jimbaran Bay, the resort offers a perfect blend of nature, luxury, and thoughtful design. The entire property feels like a hidden oasis—with multiple pools, tropical gardens, and scenic walking paths that make every moment feel peaceful and relaxing. The service is excellent—staff are attentive, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, many with views over the forest or towards the ocean. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options, catering to all tastes, and the overall food quality throughout the resort is impressive. Guests also have access to the wider AYANA facilities, including the iconic Rock Bar and the private Kubu Beach, which adds so much value to the stay. Whether you're lounging by the pool, enjoying sunset cocktails, or just unwinding in your room, RIMBA offers a peaceful luxury experience that’s hard to beat. A fantastic choice for couples, families, or anyone looking to recharge in paradise.

Ayana had fantastic service from the time we arrive it is a large place but never waited more then 2 minutes for a shuttle. We booked the swim out room which was so quiet and peaceful. When o booked it said you have access to all the pools. I loved the river pool and the ocean front pool from the pictures but to my disappointment the river pool was restricted to hours before 930 am which they didn’t tell us and when we tried to go at 940am we couldn’t. We then decided to go to the ocean front pool and after taking the elevator down to our disappointment again we were told we had to be put on a waiting list to get a seat. Though we could still go in the pool. As a result we went back to Rimba and chilled at our swim out room which was great too. I mention these items only for improvement. I still found the hotel fantastic. The food was delicious, ground were beautiful. The rock bar was also fantastic for sunset though a bit overpriced, more then I would pay at home in the US.
